Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

231: Enemies meeting are especially hostile.A woman in red walked out from behind the group opposite them. Holding a knife, she shrieked the moment she saw Si Nan, ”It’s you!”

”Hmm?” Si Nan hadn’t been paying close attention to the woman’s face, but being called out like that, she had to look. She was also shocked. ”Li Na? You’re actually still alive...”

To think that after nine years, this woman was still alive. Heaven had been kind to her, allowing her to meet an old enemy here. This was wonderful.

Si Nan’s calm heart felt a slight stir of excitement.

”Big Sister, you know this woman?” the oldest boy asked as he backed up toward Li Na, pointing his finger at Si Nan.

Li Na grit her teeth. ”I’d recognize her even if she turned to ash. Si Nan, long time no see. I didn’t think you’d still be alive, let alone in the same city as me.”

”That’s just your bad luck. President Wang thought you were dead or had turned into a zombie. Heaven truly has eyes to let me see you again. This time, no one can save you. Go to hell!”

Li Na suddenly attacked, aiming a force that surpassed normal human strength toward Si Nan like an overwhelming tide.

”Don’t move, this is between her and me.” Si Nan immediately pushed Zhou Zhi and Wang Zhan aside, allowing the force of Li Na’s attack to push her backward.

She was quite shocked. ”You really are lucky; even someone like you could awaken a Strength Ability. But what a pity, it’s only Rank Two. If this is all the strength you have, you can’t hurt me at all.”

Si Nan dodged with a smile. That force struck a scrapped green bicycle by the roadside, blowing it apart.

Li Na launched a second move. ”Boastful words! Forget Rank Two, even Rank One would be enough to kill you. You’re just jealous of me, aren’t you? Because I can’t sense a single trace of Supernatural Ability from you.”

”In other words, you’re just a useless person who couldn’t awaken. Hahaha! How can someone like you fight me?”

Si Nan shook her head. ”Nine years have passed and you’re still a simple-minded idiot with more brawn than brains. Have you forgotten? You were my defeated opponent nine years ago, and nine years later, you’re even less of a match for me.”

”I didn’t strike back because I wanted to see if you’d made any progress in nine years. It seems that aside from awakening an ability, you haven’t improved at all—especially your brain. Now, die!”

Si Nan was tired of playing. As Li Na’s second move came at her, she raised her hand and easily neutralized it. Then, she sprinted directly in front of Li Na, her ancient saber flashing like a bolt of lightning. With a ’shlick’ sound, it pierced through Li Na’s heart.

”You—how is this possible! Why is God so good to you, even letting you awaken an ability? I’ve struggled through life and death, crawling and fighting through the Apocalypse for nine years; no one was my match.”

”To think I’d die just like this upon meeting you... I’m not reconciled! I don’t believe your luck will always be good. You—you will face retribution.”

Li Na clutched her bleeding heart and slowly collapsed.

”No! Big Sister?” The eight boys caught her, clutching Li Na’s heart in disbelief.

By now, Li Na could no longer speak. Her punctured lungs were filling with blood, and she could do nothing but twitch in pain.

While the eight boys were weeping, Si Nan and the others had already left. The supermarket entrance was inside the building. To prevent anyone from finding the underground supermarket, Geng Datong had ordered the entrance to be welded shut with iron plates.

People had tried to attack it over time; the iron plates were dented and uneven from being struck, but they hadn’t been broken open.

Zhou Zhi was preparing, looking for the weakest spot to use his power to blast it open.

Wang Zhan asked Si Nan curiously, ”Sister Nan, did that dead woman just now have a grudge against you? She tried to kill you the moment she saw you, and she wasn’t even good-looking.”

Si Nan scanned the surroundings and said casually, ”Yeah. Before the Apocalypse, we worked at the same company. She was a mistress who openly tried to steal my Boyfriend. I generously gave that scum of a Boyfriend to her.”

Gu Jie and Wang Zhan: ”...”

Sister Nan’s romantic history was quite rich; she even had a Boyfriend before Brother Sen.

”What’s wrong?” Si Nan only then realized what she had said and glanced at Gu Jie and Wang Zhan’s faces.

The two quickly denied it. ”Nothing’s wrong. We just should have killed that woman more slowly; she was too wicked.”

”A waste of time,” Si Nan replied dismissively. She then walked toward the welded door because Zhou Zhi had failed to blast it open with one move.

She took out her ancient saber and thrust it hard into the iron plate; it sank in with total ease.

Gu Jie and the other two were amazed. ”Good heavens, what material is this ancient saber made of? It can actually slice through such a thick iron plate so easily.”

Si Nan tossed the ancient saber to Zhou Zhi. ”I don’t know. I took it from my neighbor Zhuo Guangshun. It was part of his collection. They say it cuts through iron like butter.”

The three: ”...”

”Let me try.” Wang Zhan snatched the ancient saber from Zhou Zhi’s hand and swung it to cut the iron plate. One stroke went through effortlessly. ”Hahaha! This is a priceless treasure! It’s unimaginably sharp.”

Gu Jie thought: No wonder Sister Nan always carries it with her. It really is a treasure; it kills so fast.

In just a minute, they had cut out a small door. Zhou Zhi and Wang Zhan walked in front, both drawing their blades alertly. ”Even though it’s sealed, there’s no guarantee there aren’t any zombies.”

It was very dark below. Having been sealed for so long, the smell was very strong. After nine years, the food was definitely inedible. What Si Nan wanted were daily necessities, especially those for women.

There were many people, so they needed a large supply.

The high-powered flashlights had a wide range. There were good things right at the supermarket entrance; there was a bookstore on one side and an underwear shop on the other.

Si Nan stood inside the bookstore. The children had been longing for new books for a long time.

”Aiya, we didn’t prepare any large bags. What are we going to use to carry them? I’ll go outside and find two large trucks.” Wang Zhan cried out and immediately turned to run back out.

Si Nan called him back. ”Come back. I’m here, what are you afraid of? This commercial center is so big, even eight large trucks couldn’t fit everything.”

”Ah, then what should we do? We’ll just fill as many trucks as we can, then chain them all together and tow them back.”

”Yeah, that’s the best way. We can’t fit much with just the helicopter.”

Gu Jie lived up to his role as the leader. ”What are you two in such a hurry for? Sister Nan must have her own way.”

Si Nan didn’t bother with them further. She reached out toward the store full of books. Along with the bookshelves, the entire row of books vanished. Zhou Zhi and Wang Zhan screamed at the sight: ”Ah! What just happened?”

”Where’s the bookshelf?”

Wang Zhan ran to the spot where the bookshelf had disappeared, turning in circles to look for it.

Si Nan pushed him aside. ”Stop shouting. I forgot to tell you all, I’ve awakened a Space Ability. I put the things in my space.”

Now that she was powerful, she no longer needed to hide the space from her own people.

”Ah?” Even Gu Jie cried out. ”A Space Ability? I’ve never heard of that before.”

Si Nan ignored them. In two passes, she had collected all the books in the store, leaving behind nothing but an empty shop.

The three: ”...”

”Hahaha! Sister Nan, how big is your ability space? Did you just awaken it? What does it look like?” Zhou Zhi and Wang Zhan immediately surrounded Si Nan, full of joy.
