Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

201: Official actionsIn Room 419, many women leaned out of the windows, looking down. Seeing Luo Sen controlling zombies to attack them, their faces turned ashen. They shrieked orders to everyone, ”Quick, quick, quick! Nail all the doors and windows shut! Block them off!”

But then: *Bang!*

The door suddenly came under a violent assault. The roars of the zombies outside were crystal clear. All the women panicked. ”What do we do? What do we do? How did those zombies get up here so fast? We’re on the 19th floor!”

”Because I sent them up.” Luo Sen stood outside on the balcony. When his incomparably handsome face entered their sight, the women instantly began to scream.

”Oh, he’s so handsome! Let’s not fight. How about we live together?”

”You’re courting death!” Luo Sen’s gray-blue eyes narrowed in anger. A surge of power suddenly shot from his fingertips, piercing through the large balcony glass and passing through the heart of a disgusting woman before directly shattering the door that had been nailed shut with thick wooden planks.

”Roar!”

”Ah!”

In an instant, the roars of the zombies and the screams of the women blended together, playing a beautiful symphony.

The lead woman, unwilling to accept her fate, roared at Luo Sen while killing zombies, ”We have no grievances with you, we don’t even know you! Why are you killing us?”

”Because you wanted to kill Si Nan. She is my woman.” Luo Sen sat on the balcony, enjoying their death throes with a pleasant mood.

Hearing this, the woman finally realized they had provoked someone they shouldn’t have.

But Gu Jie and the other five left on the rooftop were not in a pleasant mood. It wasn’t that it was cold up there, but rather that it was terrifying. They were surrounded by zombies baring their fangs and brandishing their claws, every single one of them wanting to tear them apart and eat them alive.

If it hadn’t been for the circle of Luo Sen’s blood sprinkled around them, they would have been dead long ago.

”B-b-b-brother Gu, do you think they can hold out until Brother Sen gets back?”

”I-I-I-I think it’s a long shot. L-l-l-look at the black drool coming from their mouths... t-t-t-they’re starving.”

”Shut up, don’t talk nonsense. Brother Sen knows what he’s doing; he won’t hurt us.” Gu Jie interrupted his subordinates’ fear, but the veins popping out on the back of his hand gripping the gun betrayed his nervousness.

Just as they felt the Corpse Brothers were about to lose control and pounce to tear them to pieces, Luo Sen returned. ”Come down and collect the supplies. There are two more places.”

After saying that, he turned and left, raising his hand to check his wristwatch, his brow furrowed. Every household wasted half an hour of his time. He wondered if Nan Nan had kicked off her blankets?

That girl is quite a restless sleeper. What if she catches a cold? It’s all the fault of this rabble.

Gu Jie and the others were walking fine behind Luo Sen. Having just breathed a sigh of relief, they felt like they had just experienced a life-and-death situation and come back to life.

Suddenly, sensing the thick murderous intent radiating from Luo Sen, the breath they had just let out was sucked right back in. They began to doubt themselves—had they done something wrong? Why would Brother Sen suddenly get angry?

But they hadn’t! They hadn’t moved or done anything on the rooftop. Surely Brother Sen wasn’t angry with them?

Then who was he angry with?

It went without saying; it must be the next household’s fault. Brother Sen definitely missed Sister Nan.

It had to be said that the youngest subordinate was the one in the know.

Oh, so that was it.

Gu Jie and the five others exchanged glances, instantly understanding.

Sure enough, before they even reached Jiangshan Tianjing, Luo Sen had mobilized a large number of zombies to storm the building. The screams could be heard from far away.

By the time they went upstairs, there were no survivors left. The food and weapons were all there.

When it was the turn of the last place, Lanshan Villa, Luo Sen didn’t even bother going inside. He just sat at the Residential Area’s main gate and mobilized thousands of zombies to tear that delusional boss to shreds.

Only then did he lead Gu Jie and the others inside to seize the weapons. Lanshan Villa was the oldest high-end villa district in this area, inhabited entirely by wealthy people. There were many collections and items of immense value inside.

Luo Sen led Gu Jie and the others from house to house, scouring them. By the time they gathered everything, they had enough to fill two large trucks.

Meanwhile, back in the Residential Area, Si Nan was testing the martial arts skills of several young men. It was a total slaughter; she beat the boys so badly they were pinned to the ground, unable to get up. ”I know you’re all self-taught, but there are plenty of self-taught boxers, Taekwondo experts, and martial arts champions.

With your current skills, where you can’t even knock down a sapling with one punch, how many zombies do you think you can kill when they surround you?”

”We’re sorry, Sister Nan. We were wrong.” Several young men apologized while lying on the ground.

Si Nan grew even angrier. ”Wrong? You haven’t let me down; you’ve let yourselves down. Whether your martial arts are good or bad has nothing to do with me; the life you need to protect isn’t mine.

From today on, step on the gas and train like your lives depend on it. Your current power is far from enough; I am very dissatisfied. As long as you aren’t dead, train, train, train! Do you understand?”

”Understood.”

”Did I not give you food?”

”UNDERSTOOD!”

”Now get lost and train.”

”Yes!”

Si Nan gave them a good scolding before letting them go to their shifts. These few rotated guard duty at the four gates of the Residential Area. But just now, she hadn’t even gotten serious, using only one hand, and none of them could beat her. They couldn’t even last three minutes. It infuriated her.

When Luo Sen returned home, he saw her looking unhappy. ”What’s wrong? Didn’t sleep well?”

She was dressed in simple casual wear, sitting cross-legged on the sofa, staring blankly at the dark TV screen. Although her expression was sour, her stylish sportswear outlined her already beautiful figure, making him feel exceptionally tempted.

Unable to help himself, he sat down beside Si Nan and pulled her from the sofa onto his lap. His long fingers tilted her chin up, forcing her to look at him. ”What exactly happened?”

Si Nan leaned against his chest, her voice weak. ”It’s nothing. I went down to check the martial arts skills of those boys, and it just made me angry.

When I woke up, I checked the surveillance cameras around the Residential Area to look at the zombies and Zombie Beasts nearby. They’re evolving too fast. The tips of dogs’ tails have grown blades that can kill.

Starving, they’ve started hunting and eating their own kind. If you don’t believe me, see for yourself.”

Si Nan put her feet down to put on her slippers but was pulled back into Luo Sen’s embrace. ”I know. This morning, I took Gu Jie and the others to clear five nearby Residential Areas. I saw many powerfully evolved Zombie Beasts along the way.

It’s only because they are wary of my strength, combined with the intelligence they’ve gained after evolving. Otherwise, they would even attack me. This is only temporary. Once they grow even stronger, I expect even I will be attacked.”

Si Nan’s expression turned grave as she replied, ”When that time truly comes, it will be the end for humanity. However, I believe The Authorities will take measures.”

Luo Sen nodded. ”Yes. Half a month ago, The Authorities sent out a special squad of awakened Supernatural Ability users specifically to exterminate those powerfully evolved Zombie Beasts. Ji Yan is the leader.”

”What? But Uncle Ji only just awakened his Supernatural Ability, and it was with your help. He can’t even actively absorb the zombies’ crystal cores himself.”
