Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing had just got up, his attention completely drawn to the phenomenon of ”Internal Energy Release”, he hadn’t noticed at all whether he was wearing any clothes. Suddenly, he flipped the blankets off and was instantly seen completely naked by three girls, making Ye Qing’s eyes go wide.

In a moment of shock, Ye Qing immediately covered himself with the blanket again, wrapping his body tightly, and looked at the three girls in front of him with a face turning bright red.

Although the three girls didn’t say anything, they all lowered their heads, chuckling discreetly. Ye Qing’s panicked actions seemed very funny to them. Honestly, they had never seen such a shy man before.

Ye Qing himself felt even more embarrassed, and couldn’t help but recall how Huangfu Ziyu had slept next to him last night. Could it be that he had been naked then, too? But, who had undressed him?

Ye Qing remembered that it had only been him and Huangfu Ziyu in the room last night. Moreover, these three girls must have arrived today, meaning it had been just him and Huangfu Ziyu together before. So, the person who undressed him, it was clear who that must have been!

Thinking about this made Ye Qing even more embarrassed. He was only wearing underwear, and all the other clothes had been removed by Huangfu Ziyu. Just the thought made him die of embarrassment.

”Um, could you please step out for a moment?” Ye Qing said with his head hung low, unable to make eye contact with the girls.

”Okay,” Xiao Qing replied with a light smile, but that smile sounded suspiciously like a snigger.

Ye Qing felt even more embarrassed, listening as the three girls left the room, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. However, he still cautiously looked around to make sure no one was there before he finally got up to get dressed.

Even though Ye Qing had woken up now, his body was clearly still weak, and his walk felt somewhat unsteady. Nevertheless, that wasn’t the key issue right now, he needed to hurry back to Shenchuan City where there were matters waiting to be resolved.

But, after walking around the room a couple of times, he was amazed to find he couldn’t locate his clothes. After hesitating for a bit, he went back to the bed, wrapping himself with the blanket, he embarrassingly asked, ”Uh, Xiao Qing, could you come in here for a moment?”

”Okay,” Xiao Qing entered the room and closed the door behind her, leaving only her and Ye Qing inside.

Xiao Qing didn’t have any other thoughts, but the situation was a bit problematic since Ye Qing was naked. He had intended for all three girls to come in together, but Xiao Qing came alone and even shut the door, making things a bit awkward. A man and a woman alone together, and he was naked, that wouldn’t sound good if word got out.

”Let the other two come in too,” Ye Qing hurriedly said.

”Okay,” Xiao Qing gave the same response, seemingly unable to deny any of Ye Qing’s requests, and opened the door to call the other two girls in.

”Ye, do you need anything?” Xiao Qing asked Ye Qing.

Seeing all three, Ye Qing finally breathed a sigh of relief and said, ”Where are my clothes?”

Xiao Qing said, ”Oh, I just washed your clothes, they are not dry yet, they are hanging outside.”

”What?” Ye Qing was startled, and said, ”My clothes are still drying? Then... what am I supposed to wear now?”

Xiao Qing smiled and said, ”Ye, your injuries haven’t healed yet, so just rest in bed for a while, there’s no rush to get dressed!”

”How can that be?” Ye Qing objected urgently, ”I have things to handle back in Shenchuan City, you... bring my clothes back please, even if they are wet, I can manage to wear them!”

”No!” This time Xiao Qing firmly refused, and said, ”The miss ordered us, as your injuries are quite severe, that we must take good care of you. Wearing wet clothes will definitely exacerbate your condition. If your condition worsens, the miss will surely blame us for not taking good care of you, and she will definitely punish us!”

”It’s okay, I’m very healthy, a wet piece of clothing won’t have much impact!” Ye Qing insisted, ”Back in the military, we’ve been soaked in mud for three days and three nights, it was fine!”

Xiao Qing still shook her head and said, ”Then, you weren’t injured. But now you are, and your immune system is weakened, you can’t continue like this!”

Ye Qing insisted, ”This isn’t much of an injury, and there’s no open wound, it won’t become infected, it’s fine!”

”Still no,” Xiao Qing shook her head straightforwardly, leaving no room for negotiation.

Ye Qing was helpless, he was sitting in bed naked at the moment, and there was no way he could go out. He could only sigh and say, ”Then... could you bring me the phone so I can make a call back home?”

Xiao Qing still shook her head and said, ”Miss said that she will take care of the matters in Shenchuan City for you. You just need to stay here and recuperate peacefully, you don’t have to worry about anything else!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Qing immediately frowned and said, ”I’m just making a phone call, is that not allowed either? It won’t affect my injuries!”

Xiao Qing said, ”This is Miss’s command, Ye, you’d better just focus on healing!”

Looking at the three women in front of him, Ye Qing furrowed his brows tightly; he suddenly felt that something was amiss. If Zhu Yu truly just wanted him to recuperate here, she shouldn’t be restricting him from doing other things. Now, having been stripped and thrown on a bed, watched over by three young women, and not allowed to make calls, there definitely was a problem. But, what could possibly happen in Shenchuan City?

Thinking back to the other night when Huangfu Ziyu leapt into the cliff recklessly, nearly dying alongside him, Ye Qing knew in his heart that Huangfu Ziyu wouldn’t harm him. Similarly, she definitely wouldn’t harm her brothers and subordinates. In that case, why was she preventing him from contacting Shenchuan City? What was the reason?

After pondering for a long while, Ye Qing suddenly remembered something significant: the people from the Xihang Shen Family were about to enter Shenchuan City!

This was likely the most significant event in the Southern Six Provinces in many years. The people from the Xihang Shen Family entering Shenchuan City were there firstly to clarify the cause of Tie Yongwen’s death, and secondly to settle their grudge with the teahouse. In fact, the second reason was the primary objective for the Xihang Shen Family, and the teahouse side was also prepared to have a showdown with the Xihang Shen Family!

The Xihang Shen Family, being a Martial Arts Holy Land of the Southern Six Provinces, was already known as the biggest myth. Meanwhile, on the teahouse side, the Ghost-faced Judge Cui Yu had a reputation in the Eastern Province and was the only one who could match Tie Yongwen. Regardless of who won or lost, his strength was evident. Cui Yulong’s strength was even more terrifying; once his Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade was drawn, none could contend.

Other individuals, like the Ghost King Li Ruoyuan, were gloomy and ruthless, and his strength was not much inferior to Cui Yu. The Demon Queen He Qinghua appeared delicate and charming, but her methods were even more terrifying than Ghost King Li Ruoyuan’s, ranking her among the top assassins. Moreover, Cui Yu had also invited several other experts from elsewhere, and together with the assassins accumulated by the teahouse over the years, their strength should be comparable to that of the Shen Family. Regardless of who won or lost, the battle would be damaging for both sides!

Now, calculating the time, the people from the Xihang Shen Family were probably about to enter Shenchuan City. That meant, the major battle between the Shen Family and the teahouse was likely about to start. At this time, Huangfu Ziyu trapping him here, what exactly did she intend to do? Could it be that she didn’t want him to participate in this major battle?

Ye Qing couldn’t understand why Huangfu Ziyu would do this. However, thinking about the Beggar King, Ye Qing suddenly had a strange thought. Huangfu Ziyu clearly knew the Beggar King’s identity and the people behind him, but she did not make a move against the Beggar King. That meant, under her silent approval, the Beggar King had developed and expanded in Tianhui City. That also meant she might still have some connections with the people behind the Beggar King, otherwise, why would she condone the Beggar King’s actions?

And thinking about what Xu Cunxiao said the other night when he appeared, by killing the Beggar King, he was making it impossible for anyone to trace back to him through the Beggar King. Then, he also wanted to kill him to silence him, indicating this person definitely had some unspeakable secrets. But, what exactly were those secrets?

For some reason, Ye Qing suddenly felt that Xu Cunxiao and the matters in Shenchuan City were somehow connected. Although he knew too little, this feeling was incredibly strong, so strong that he wanted to hurry back to Shenchuan City and tell Cui Yu about this.

At this thought, Ye Qing was suddenly startled. By trapping him here, could it be that Huangfu Ziyu was afraid he would go back and tell Cui Yu about this? If that was really the case, did Huangfu Ziyu know something?

This thought startled Ye Qing; he suddenly realized that the imminent major battle between the Xihang Shen Family and the teahouse might also be a pre-planned conspiracy. Someone would certainly benefit from this battle!

”No, I must stop them from battling first!” A thought rose in Ye Qing’s mind. He looked at the three women in front of him, his brows slightly furrowed.

Now he was naked, and with three young women there, he couldn’t just storm out. However, if he didn’t leave soon, things could get complicated.

After hesitating momentarily, Ye Qing frowned deeply and said solemnly, ”Xiao Qing, could you please step out for a moment?”

”Okay.” Xiao Qing nodded and agreed, turning to walk to the door. Just as she was about to leave, she suddenly stopped.

”Ye, I’ve thought it over, and I’d better stay here to take care of you!” said Xiao Qing. ”Your injuries haven’t healed yet, you need someone to care for you!”

Ye Qing initially wanted to send them away, so he could figure out a way to leave. But now, with Xiao Qing saying this, it was clear she had seen through his intentions.

Ye Qing felt a sense of urgency and said, ”There’s no need for care, please leave!”

”I can’t, I must fulfill the tasks Miss has assigned to me!” Xiao Qing said with a calm smile, ”Ye, you should rest and not worry too much about other things. When your injuries heal, I will personally take you back to Shenchuan City, so don’t worry!”

The more she told him not to worry, the more anxious Ye Qing became. He suddenly grabbed the edge of the blanket and said urgently, ”Are you leaving or not? If you don’t, I’m going to throw off the blanket!”
