Urban Martial Saint

Demon Queen He Qinghua felt the impact most acutely; when she rushed toward the car earlier, her knee was clearly hit by something resembling a small stone.

Although the object was small, it numbed her leg, causing her to fall. She couldn’t get up, not because the fall was severe, but because her knee was numb, and she simply couldn’t stand!

Demon Queen He Qinghua angrily looked around, but there was hardly anyone in the streets, except for a tall elderly man in the distance, slowly walking forward with a wooden stick, leading his granddaughter. The old man was around seventy years old, appeared very ordinary, and was very far from He Qinghua. It seemed impossible for anyone to throw a small stone such a long distance.

Demon Queen He Qinghua watched as the grandfather and granddaughter passed by the street corner and finally shook her head. First off, she didn’t believe anyone could throw a tiny stone that far and with such force to cause her such pain. Moreover, if it were really those two who had thrown it, how terrifying would their strength have to be?

Demon Queen He Qinghua knew clear well that anyone who could stop her with a small stone was not someone she could contend with. Thus, she shouted out but did not pursue it further, furiously watching the direction the vehicle had gone before wrapping herself up in her clothes and turning to leave. Of course, she was still very angry; the easy prey that was almost in her grasp had slipped away—how could anyone be happy about that?

”Hey, beautiful, are you alone?” At that moment, three flashy-dressed young men surrounded her. Demon Queen He Qinghua, now wearing only a jacket with her arms and legs exposed, was particularly eye-catching on the streets.

Demon Queen He Qinghua glanced at the three men, and although unsatisfied with their appearance, she smiled seductively. Everything was ready; now that Ye Qing was gone, she had to make do with these three men. She couldn’t care less at this point.

”Yes, I’m alone. What about it, want to treat me to a late-night snack?” Demon Queen He Qinghua flirtatiously responded.

The three young men hadn’t expected things to go so smoothly; they were overjoyed, internally calculating that perhaps they had stumbled upon great fortune tonight to encounter such luck.

”As long as the beauty desires it, you can do whatever you want!” the leading young man declared boldly.

Demon Queen He Qinghua smiled, ”Then let’s skip the meal. I’ve booked a room upstairs; let’s go sit inside.”

The directness of Demon Queen He Qinghua somewhat startled the three men; they had encountered male predators before but was this time a female predator?

”What, not willing?” Demon Queen He Qinghua scoffed coldly, turning around and saying, ”If you don’t have the guts, you shouldn’t pretend to be out picking up girls. I think you guys should just go home and stick to what you can handle!”

”Damn it, who says I don’t have the guts!” the leading young man suddenly lost his temper, ”Come on, I don’t believe you can really eat us all up!”

”Oh?” Demon Queen He Qinghua smiled seductively, leisurely walking up to the young man, smiling faintly as she gazed at him, all the while deep in thought about the earlier incident with Ye Qing.

The young man was thrilled and didn’t realize he had been turned into a replacement, following Demon Queen He Qinghua straight to the hotel. The other two quickly followed, none wanting to miss out, fearing the leading young man would beat them to it.

The hotel staff had seen Demon Queen He Qinghua go up earlier with Ye Qing and hadn’t seen her come down. Now seeing her entering with three men, their eyes widened. Nonetheless, the four individuals didn’t care about the onlookers’ stares and quickly headed upstairs, leaving a buzz of discussion behind.

Elsewhere, that person had driven Ye Qing out of Shenchuan City to a secluded villa in the Southern Suburb. He stopped the car and directly yanked down the black cloth covering his face, revealing a stunningly beautiful visage—it was Huangfu Ziyu.

”Miss, how did it go?” Tianfu, the dwarf, came over and asked.

Huangfu Ziyu, looking at Ye Qing whose face was flushed, slightly furrowed her brows and said, ”Take him to the room, fill the bathtub with cold water, and put him in it first!”

”Oh!” Tianfu hurriedly approached, grabbed Ye Qing’s clothes, and carried him into the house. Although Tianfu was a dwarf, he had great strength, handling a person as if he were toying around.

Huangfu Ziyu entered the room, changing out of her nocturnal attire as two exceptionally beautiful women helped her into a set of women’s clothes.

Once out of the room, Tianfu was already sitting in the living room. Seeing Huangfu Ziyu come out, he immediately stood up and said, ”Miss, he’s already soaked in the water. But, his condition doesn’t look very good!”

Huangfu Ziyu said gravely, ”He’s been hit by Demon Queen He Qinghua’s Blazing Red Lips!”

”What?” Tianfu’s expression changed, and he said gravely, ”Blazing Red Lips, isn’t that Demon Queen He Qinghua’s unique mesmerizing medicine? It’s said to be used specifically to bewitch men with a strong aphrodisiac effect. If that’s the case with Ye Qing now...”

”That’s why I must force the drug out of his system as quickly as possible; otherwise, we’re in trouble!” Huangfu Ziyu said sternly.

”Miss, it looks like he’s already almost lost his nature. Moreover, the Blazing Red Lips are said to be incurable, and even Inner Strength might not be able to force it out. Helping him expel the drug from his body this way, I’m afraid...” Tianfu paused, not continuing, but the meaning was already very clear.

Huangfu Ziyu furrowed her elegant brows. Ye Qing could go berserk at any moment, and going in to rescue him indeed posed a danger. But what other options were there?

”Otherwise, should I go out and find a woman for him?” Tianfu whispered.

”It’s already too late!” Huangfu Ziyu shook her head.

”Miss, let me go then!” A girl standing next to Huangfu Ziyu suddenly spoke up. She said this only because she wanted to do something for Huangfu Ziyu, with no other thoughts in mind.

”Miss, let’s go!” Another girl also spoke up. They both knew how important Ye Qing was in Huangfu Ziyu’s plans, so they were both willing to sacrifice themselves to save Ye Qing.

Huangfu Ziyu’s elegant eyebrows tightened. The two girls had been with her for quite some time now, both raised by her since they were young, each pristine and untainted. It must have taken great courage for them to say such words, all to help her with her tasks!

”Miss, you cannot go and take risks!” Tianfu said solemnly beside her, ”Xiao Hong and Xiao Lu, you two go into the room!”

Without saying anything, the two girls walked directly into the adjacent room. Huangfu Ziyu watched their retreating figures, her expression tangled with conflict. She felt both distressed for them but also experienced an indescribable sense of loss.

Tianfu stood next to Huangfu Ziyu, seeing her conflicted expression and couldn’t help but sigh softly, ”Miss, you once vowed that you would never fall for anyone in this lifetime. You bear the heavy responsibility of revitalizing the Huangfu Household. Matters of affection, you mustn’t indulge in them!”

Huangfu Ziyu didn’t speak but slowly nodded her head, rising to walk toward her own room,”Wait till they come out, send Ye Qing back!”

”Yes!” Tianfu watched Huangfu Ziyu’s retreating figure, sighing again. He had raised Huangfu Ziyu from childhood and knew her thoughts better than anyone. But what could he do? For the revival of the clan, she must remain as firm as a rock!

In the room, half of Ye Qing’s body was immersed, soaked in cold water, yet his entire body still burned hot. His blood seemed to churn all around him, and at this moment, he seemed to have lost all other senses, consumed by a fierce compulsion.

Suddenly, the bathroom door creaked open, and Huangfu Ziyu’s two subordinates walked in. Seeing Ye Qing submerged in the bathtub, the two women clearly felt at a loss. They had only thought of helping Huangfu Ziyu save Ye Qing, but they had no idea what to do. For both untainted girls, this was indeed a troublesome issue.

”What should we do?” the woman named Xiao Hong asked in a low voice.

”I don’t know either,” the other woman, Xiao Lu, hesitated for a moment before whispering, ”Judging by his appearance, the drug must have confused his mind. If this continues, he will eventually be controlled by the drug’s power. We need to expel this drug from him before it takes full control.”

”But just with our Inner Strength, I’m afraid we can’t help him expel this drug, can we?” Xiao Hong whispered back.

”At this point, whether we have the ability or not, we still have to try,” Xiao Lu said quietly after a pause. ”Even if we cannot expel the drug’s power from him,... then... even if it costs us our lives, we must protect Miss’s plan!”

Hearing this, Xiao Hong slowly nodded her head. The two women no longer spoke and walked straight to the bathtub. Just then, Ye Qing stirred suddenly in the bathtub. The women paused, turning their heads just as Ye Qing, soaked in water, suddenly opened his eyes and mouth, his gaze filled with flames, as he lunged directly from the bathtub at them!

”Ah!” Both women screamed in unison.

Tianfu stood outside, startled by the noise. Meanwhile, in Huangfu Ziyu’s room, the previously closed door suddenly swung open, and like an arrow released from a bow, Huangfu Ziyu charged out, heading straight into the adjacent room.

”Miss!” Tianfu tried to stop her, but it was already too late.

Huangfu Ziyu rushed into the room with a grim face, her expression very severe, hands clenched into fists. She had expected to see a scene that would infuriate her, but the actual situation inside the room stunned her instead.

The two women stood in the bathroom, and Ye Qing was standing in the bedroom. His muscles all bulged, his veins swelled as if about to explode, his expression ferocious, his eyes flickering with mad flames, as if possessed. A pen was lodged in his thigh, and fresh blood had stained his pants red. It was this pain that brought a flicker of clarity to his eyes!

Caught off guard by Huangfu Ziyu’s entrance, Ye Qing paused. He glanced at Huangfu Ziyu, said nothing, but picked up a vase from the table and smashed it against the back of his own head.

With a thunk, the vase shattered, and Ye Qing was knocked unconscious by the blow, collapsing to the floor.
