The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 447: Chapter 447- The Battle That Erased the Valley (4)

Monsters!!

That was the only term that could describe this bunch of knights.

The citizens thought that the other participating knight orders were extremely strong. However, when compared to the Seven Commanders, they were no different than children playing with swords.

In fact, comparing them with these monsters would be insulting in itself; after all, the two groups were in a realm of their own.

How powerful did one need to be to crack the sky like that?

.

Back in the valley, Reinhardt was amused by Vanessa’s challenge.

It needs to be stressed that when it came down to the nature of their powers, the essence was almost similar. Both of them used the same powers, holy energy. Their class and skill set might be different, but their powers mostly did the same thing... cleanse evil.

As knights who have both stepped into the realm of heroes, whenever they fought previously, it resulted in a draw.

Of course, they were not trying to kill each other; as such, it cannot exactly be determined who was stronger or weaker unless one compared their full stats and arsenal.

Now it needs to be stressed again that the holy energy was the power of the previous Reinhardt, and the one who fought against her at that time was a level 10 hero.

Right now, facing her was no level 10, but a level 10+ knight. His stats were no longer EX, but rather Divine.

Additionally, their powers were similar but not the same. not anymore. The reason being that the higher level of holy energy was the Divine Energy. And so, in that clash, it was inevitable for the superior energy to win.

Without any surprise, after a short burst of clash, it was the [Lightforge Ascension] that managed to gain complete supremacy.

CRACK... The three circles broke apart, and the Heaven’s Sword continued on its descent.

”What?” Vanessa was shocked. This was the second time she was taken aback by Reinhardt’s power.

Below, seeing the gigantic sword fall toward them, Brutus and the other commanders grinned widely. Afraid? Nah, beings like them did not know what fear meant, they were already numb to it.

Facing the incredibly powerful skill from the Divine Paladin, all they could feel was surging excitement.

”Reinhardt!!” They shouted loudly.

Brutus stomped on the ground and jumped up; the incredible heat radiating out of his body ignited the very atmosphere itself.

Following beside him, unbothered by the heat, was Marquis Herman, enveloped in his giant lion phantom.

Divine Energy, Flames, and Devouring power. Three different energies clashed.

The result... a blast of such massive proportion that the entire valley folded inward, imploding upon itself before exploding in a powerful eruption that destroyed everything within dozens of miles.

.

BZZZT...

At the same time, the broadcast of the battle being shown all around the kingdom was cut off.

All the artifacts that were placed in the valley were all destroyed in the aftermath.

A colossal power that could be felt from the capital surged. Earth shook, the sky turned dark, and powerful gales wrecked the city.

Everyone instinctively turned their head toward a single direction. The distant valley that was at this moment shrouded in a light of destruction, which was slowly spreading outward like a typhoon.

Inside the coliseum...

”They need to be stopped.”

The Queen stood up from her throne and hurriedly declared. Her words resonated with all the people present there.

When they arrived here, they were all eager to see the power of the Seven Great Commanders. However, right now, they wanted nothing but those monsters to stop.

Even though they were far away from the valley, the booming sound and the collision of their powers were enough to affect the weather of distant cities.

Who knew what kind of catastrophic disaster they might bring if they were allowed to continue fighting like this? They didn’t want to get embroiled in the midst of that.

The royal guards were hurriedly dispatched to carry out her orders. However, even if they rushed toward the valley at full speed, it would still take them a long time. Who knew what kind of calamity the Seven Commanders would bring by then?

.

Back at the valley, when the light faded, only seven people remained; no, to be more exact, eight.

As for the knight orders that were participating in this Grand Aegis Shatter, they had all pulled back, fearful and aghast at the display of power being put on by the Seven Commanders.

”Ugh, what is going on?”

Guren, who regained his consciousness at this moment, was shocked to find himself in a completely different place.

All around him was hard, flat ground with nothing in sight for miles. What happened here? He should have been in the valley, fighting the Divine Paladin.

Where are the mountains, the lush green fauna, rivers, monsters, and everything?

”Oh good, you came back to your senses, huh? Young knight, if you can still walk, please step back. It’s going to get uglier now.”

To call him, the commander of the Ironwolf Knight, young, Guren shifted his eyes toward the rude fellow, only to open his eyes wide the next second.

The aged figure standing next to him with long, greying hair and wrinkles was a face that was extremely famous in the kingdom.

Conrad, the commander of the Knights of the Enduring Spirit. Out of all the Seven Commanders, he was the oldest and the wisest.

Hearing the other party’s words, he finally realized what was going on. That’s right, he was fighting Reinhardt, and then he was defeated. Then that must mean this place was...

At this moment, Guren finally realized the place he was in was not just any hard flatland, but the valley, which was now gone, replaced by a crater so vast that it practically changed the land.

Above, the sky was split; the spatial crack looked like a large wound. Light, fire, and lightning energies clashed for dominance above, creating storms in the process.
