The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 422: Chapter 422- Unleash: Rage Mode

Golden crimson markings covered his skin, pulsing and moving like a magnificent beast. His eyes were non human and had a vertical slit. However, unlike the ominous kinds of demons, his was majestic and filled with authority.

Lines that looked like scales shimmered at the edges of his eyes and...

”A horn?!”

From the right side of his head, just where his hair began, a small horn protruded out. While he still looked human, at the same time, he didn’t.

Kevin did not answer; no, he was in a state where he could not.

GRRRR...A deep growling noise continuously echoed out of his throat, and his eyes burned holes through the demonified knight’s visor.

CRACK...

The next second, he applied force, and the demonified knight’s arm that was holding Gwen by the neck was immediately crushed.

Dark smoke hissed out of its arm, and it took a couple of steps back.

As for Gwen, she fell on the ground, freed from the clutches. However, her eyes did not contain any happiness; instead, they were masked with surprise and anxiety.

She worried that there was something wrong with Kevin.

The squire had no clarity of mind to pay attention to her at this moment; all of his focus was on the demonified knight.

For a second, the two opponents glared at each other. Both their forms distorted and far from being humans.

A silence descended, only to be broken the next instant by Kevin, who made the first move. He stomped on the ground so hard that it visibly cracked. His figure shot out; he was so fast that even the demonified knight could not react.

It was as if Kevin’s existence blinked into existence in front of it, a kick came slamming into its chest.

BANG... The sound was so loud that one could actually feel it in their bones.

The force behind the kick was so great that it instantly caved the chestplate of the demonified knight, sending it flying back.

Then, before the latter could even land on the ground, he moved again, appearing in mid air.

Kevin did the same thing the enemy did to Gwen. He grabbed the Demonified Knight by the throat and smashed it into the ground.

BOOM...

Cracks appeared on the stone floor of the chamber; dust rose, and a deep crater was formed in the area where the demonified knight crashed.

BANG... Again, he did not give his opponent any time to react and came plummeting toward the ground.

His fist, which now packed enough force to create shockwaves and ripples in the air, stirred his direction.

The squire landed heavily on top of the demonified knight, caving its chestplate inward and expanding the radius of the crater.

Crunch...

Bones, or whatever the corrupted knight had inside that armor, snapped like dried twigs, and droves of black smoke oozed out of its body.

BANG... Kevin kicked out, and the demonified knight rolled on the ground like a football.

High Ranking Knight? Transcendent State? [Heart of the Sword]?

In front of pure destructive power, none of it mattered. Even if you are able to see the attacks coming, if you cannot react to them, it is useless.

At this moment, at this time, Kevin was inevitably and unmistakably far stronger than the demonified knight, who was once a True Knight.

The squire rushed out again. This time, the enemy used a peculiar skill it learned when it was alive.

The body of the demonified knight transformed into a far more frightening form. The sword in its hand blazed, the demonic energy surged out, quickly turning the flames into an ominous pale bluish color.

Whatever the flames touched, it dried up as if all its life was sucked from it.

”Kevin, be careful.” Seeing the moss and fungi around the Demonified Knight quickly decay, Gwen cried out.

However, Kevin had no intention of stopping.

The corrupted knight tried to swing its sword, but the former caught the weapon easily with one hand and snapped the blade into pieces like a toy.

As for the ominous flames, they were unable to burn the scales that took the form of a gauntlet in his hands.

Gwen was speechless.

The current Kevin was far more ruthless, cold, and frightening than the person she used to know.

Just what happened to him?

Unbothered by her dilemma, Kevin continued his pummeling. Covered in scales, he threw a punch at the Demonified Knight, his speed and strength breaking superhuman records.

BANG...

Armor caved in, and the corrupted knight was sent flying like a kite. Before the other party even crashed, he blinked in front of them and punched again and then again and again.

He was fast, blindingly so, and his punches didn’t sound like flesh meeting metal but more like thunder shattering mountains.

Covered in those ridiculously tough, scaled gauntlets, his attacks broke through the enemy’s defences. Each blow was fueled by his uncontrollable rage and berserk powers.

The crimson gold markings on his body that resembled an ancient, mighty creature faintly pulsed and coiled around his body, boosting his power, speed, reflexes, and all of his stats to a new level.

If one looked at his stats right now, no one would believe that he was just a level 4 squire. In fact, his stats had already surpassed the realms of a level 6 True Knight.

The ensuing battle was no longer a battle anymore; it was a one sided beating so thorough and brutal that one might even feel pity for the demonified knight.

The Demonified Knight that easily took out the three squires working together, the corrupted being in the body of a true knight, was at this moment unable to even retaliate. The sight of it getting kicked around like a football was disbelieving, to say the least.

”Is it... really Kevin?”

Observing the scene, Gwen muttered to herself. Lying there on the ground and clutching her throat, she could only watch in a daze as the boy she trained with surpassed her at once and completely dismantle the demonified knight she was powerless against.
