The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 410: Chapter 410- Knights Vs Demonified Knights

Those three, they were not high ranking demonified knights; no, they were above that. While their powers might have deteriorated after they died, it did not mean that they had become much weaker in their demonified form.

Additionally, they were also holding onto some of the most powerful demonic items that were stored inside the vault.

They should have brought their entire order; the Marquis Herman and Leona couldn’t help but think in their minds.

Nevertheless, as knights symbolizing the rules of steel, they did not know the meaning of backing down. It was the same for their orders, who had been trained mercilessly to fight evil.

”Let’s do this!!”

The three commanders spoke together and unleashed their auras. As it was going to be a tough battle even for true knights, Reinhardt released the effects of his titles, thus evening out; no, sweeping the odds in their favor.

Although the two extreme knights who were at the cusp of reaching the realm of the Heroes also released the effects of their titles, in front of him, theirs paled in comparison.

[The Divine Paladin exerts his title].

[Executioner of the Lord of Divine Wrath]: Description - The blade of Dioanax, the enforcer of holy judgment upon all evil.

Effects - [Wrath Incarnate] (Passive): Reinhardt emits divine wrath in a wide area around him. All attacks deal +200% true damage to enemies afflicted by sin, corruption, or demonic energy. Damage ignores armor, resistances, and regeneration effects.

[Heavenly Reckoning] (On Kill Effect): Upon slaying an enemy, Reinhardt and those around him gain [Divine Burst], boosting their next attack’s damage by 30%.

[Wielder of the First Light]: Description - The first and purest light of creation.

Effects - [Sovereign’s Presence] (AoE Debuff): All enemies within ten miles of Reinhardt suffer from [Terror], reducing their attack power and movement speed by -40% and causing a 20% chance to flinch upon engaging Reinhardt.

[Divine Recompense] (Aura Buff): All allies gain +50% attack speed, +35% resilience, and +25% mana regeneration when within a two-mile radius of Reinhardt. Holy attribute abilities gain +100% effectiveness.

[Arbiter of the Heavens]: Description - To stand before the Arbiter is to stand before divine judgment itself.

Effects - [Authority Absolute] (Passive): Enemies within ten miles of Reinhardt suffer from [Divine Judgment], reducing their evasion, critical hit rate, and attack power by -30%.

[Celestial Dominion] (AoE Buff/Debuff): Creates a vast holy domain where allied stats increase by +25%, and all enemies suffer a -20% debuff to movement speed, attack power, and magical resistance.

[Bearer of the Celestial Vanguard]: Effect - +80% defense against dark and infernal magic. Allies near Reinhardt gain a temporary holy shield when their HP drops below a certain threshold. Can only activate once.

[Edict of the Gods] - ...

There were so many titles, and each came with such ridiculous buffs that if anyone saw the list, they would no doubt gawk into the air for a good while.

Having said that, even though the knights could not see it, they could definitely feel themselves getting stronger all of a sudden. The change was so dramatic that some of the sharp ones instantly drew a connection.

This level of buffs... it was definitely not from their Commanders. Only one man in this place could give off such a powerful enhancement so casually. The legendary level 10 Divine Paladin. It had to be him.

”Did you get more powerful?” Marquis Herman questioned.

The buffs just now also encompassed him, a level 9 extreme knight who had one step into the realms of the Heroes. This alone was enough to tell him that the Divine Paladin had become stronger; after all, the previous Reinhardt wasn’t capable of that.

In fact, even for heroes, their titles shouldn’t be able to affect a level 9 extreme knight. Yet the man before him had just toppled that concept in his head.

Leona, who was by the side, did not say anything. Having completed a mission with him not long ago, she knew that the Divine Paladin had gotten stronger. She stood there unfazed and aloof.

Of course, it was outwardly.

Inside her heart, she wanted to strike up a conversation with Reinhardt, too, just like Marquis Herman did. On that matter, she hated the latter for taking him up entirely to himself.

No one other than the high ranking female knights of the Lunar Veil knew what was going on inside the heart of this ironclad Valkyrie.

A few seconds later, the knights were all ready to head in. In fact, it was quite weird that the enemy hadn’t attacked them all this time. Something was definitely going on inside the vault.

The three commanders were the first ones to rush in, followed by the knights of their order. As for Kevin and the other squires, Reinhardt simply told them to protect the Bloomkeeper. For solving the disturbance, its presence was necessary.

GRAWRRR...

A spine-shaking roar burst from within. The moment the knights crossed the threshold of the vault, shadows swarmed them.

Demonified knights... former knights twisted by corrupt energy, their armor warped in pulsating black veins, and bloodlust oozed out of their bodies in a sickening display.

They moved as one, screaming incoherently, their demonic weapons forming a unified wave of malice.

The three commanders were the first ones to take the brunt of that power. They plowed through the onrushing horde of enemies with power so unstoppable that it was a sight in itself.

The vault instantly became chaos incarnate. The moment the knights charged in, the vault itself seemed to buckle under the sheer clash of power.

Blades of light and darkness collided, skills clashed in a brilliant display of explosions, and mana thundered through the enclosed chamber, shattering the ground like thin glass. It was a full scale mess.

The demonified knights numbering in thousands, maybe even more, used the techniques and skills beaten into their bodies even after their death, in a brilliant display of execution.

Their corrupted weapons cut through stone, radiating power strong enough to carve craters into the marble floor.
