The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 401: Chapter 401- New Mid Tier Summons (2)

”I believe my girls here worked hard to dig all kinds of information on you. Let’s see if they managed to stand up to your standards”.

Saying that, she called out to the first group of girls who managed the Salon. Then she called the ones who gave him the massage and bath, followed by the others.

One by one, they recited the information they dug up on him, compared it, and derived a logical conclusion based on the ones that matched.

By the time they finished reporting all the information, the table where Reinhardt and his two ladies were seated, became unnaturally silent.

What was going on? Why did the madam look all troubled and massaging her temples like that? The girls looked confused.

”This... sigh. I apologise, Lord Reinhardt. It looks like these girls still need more training in that area.”

Madam Lily bowed her head and apologised. Even though she taught them everything, these girls had somehow messed up the most crucial part of their job.

”To be unable to even gather proper intelligence, their technique needs to be worked on further”.

The information the girls gave did not match at all with what she knew about the man. In fact, the information the girls gathered was so different that she wanted to ask them who they were even talking about.

By now, all the girls realised that the information they gathered was all false. They all dropped their heads in dejection, looking visibly shaken.

To provide false information, does that mean that their techniques had no effect on him?

”To fail even after all that, I’ll train them from scratch again.”

To make matters worse, Madam Lily looked enraged.

”Haha, you are being too hard on them. Their techniques were indeed effective, and everything I revealed to them has been relayed back to me. So it could be said that they were able to properly do their jobs. It’s just that I’m a little bit of an exception. I hope you won’t be hard on them just because of me”.

What he revealed to them could not be said to be false. It was all information from his past life. Furthermore, having experienced their service, he could tell how potent their charm and technique was.

It might be a tall order to say it can enchant a legendary level 10 hero. However, it would not be out of reach for them to completely seduce a high ranking knight. That was how powerful the service of this establishment was.

This was his impression, so it was as good as gold.

Madam Lily nodded her head, coming to the realisation that the man in front of her was unlike any other legendary heroes.

Since he was able to conquer all the dragons, something that no one was able to do before, it was not unreasonable for him to be able to manipulate the information as well.

Be that may, to do so in that condition and situation, one needed to possess a stability of mind and spirit that would falter in any situation.

No wonder he is called humanity’s last fortress. Madam Lily was inwardly impressed.

Reinhardt took out a cheque from his breastpocket and wrote them a sum. Since these girls took such great care of them, he needed to reward them appropriately.

RIP... Please take this to the chamberlain of my mansion.

Madam Lily did not shy away and took the cheque promptly. The moment she laid her eyes on it, it almost popped out.

”This much?!!” She glanced at the zeroes again and again and blinked her eyes.

Her exaggerated reaction caused the girls behind her to be surprised, too. They arched their neck up to peek at the cheque out of curiosity, only to open their eyes wide in shock, just like their madam.

My goodness, so many zeroes!!

Was this really reality?

”I believe these girls and this establishment earned it. Take it, it’s my personal funds anyway”.

To them, it might seem like a lot of money, but to him, it wasn’t much. It needs to be stressed that Reinhardt was rich. He was not only the Governor of a city and the son of a duke but also the Commander of one of the Knight orders.

His numerous expeditions and exploits had earned him a mountain of money. Usually, he spent them on his training gear and hobbies. However, to say, the Divine Paladin had very little hobby. More like killing demons was his only hobby.

As such, all his money was sitting there in his personal vault, gathering dust. It was much better being used somewhere.

Plus, he always wanted to act like a philanthropist for once. With this, he made one of his previous life wishes come true.

Additionally, this was an investment.

”We truly thank you for your patronage, Governor”.

Madam Lily bowed her head. Mimicking her actions, the girls of the establishment did the same.

After the payment was taken care of, it was time for him to do his part. Eleanor did not just bring him here to simply have fun. There was another reason, one that needed his assistance.

”About the security...” The latter looked at him. Having managed a couple of high class establishments before while training under the Queen, she knew what kinds of trouble such places could attract.

If there were no proper security in place, it would risk the destruction of the establishment and the lives of the girls here.

Reinhardt glanced at Eleanor, seeing the worry in her eyes, he could tell what she was thinking. As an actress, she had gone through something traumatic. She didn’t want these girls to go through the same experience as herself.

”Don’t worry, I won’t allow anyone to destroy the atmosphere of this place.”

Not just because this place was a literal heaven on earth, but also because this establishment was his first step towards setting up his own information network.

”Hmm, this place is a little narrow. Come with me, all of you.”

And so, with Reinhardt leading, Eleanor, Melissa and all the staffs of the establishment headed out.
