School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 383: Chapter 437: Qingqing Falls into the River

Su Qingqing ran out of Chen Nan’s room, covering her mouth to prevent herself from crying out. Yet, her tears couldn’t help flowing uncontrollably.

She didn’t go back to her room; instead, she ran out of the house and drove the Ferrari out of the villa area at high speed.

”Stupid fool, idiot, you actually threatened me, saying you’d break off our friendship, I hate you so much!”

Her tears blurred her vision, and she pounded her white knuckles on the steering wheel, pressing her foot heavily on the accelerator. The car sped along the road like an arrow released from its bow.

Previously, when she rode in Chen Nan’s car, she constantly reminded him to slow down.

But now, she seemed to have forgotten all danger, forgotten everything, continually crying, relentlessly pressing the gas pedal under the street lights. The car was like a streak of red lightning racing across the ground, rocketing along the road.

Today, she had let go of her dignity, abandoned a girl’s reservedness, doggedly questioning Chen Nan as she herself said. Yet, unexpectedly, she was still harshly rejected.

”You can do such things with the flirtatious Demon Concubine, so why can’t you be my boyfriend? Am I that bad...”

Su Qingqing kept crying, hitting the steering wheel. Several times, she almost collided with other vehicles, but she seemed to have become numb and was not at all afraid.

She needed to vent her grievances through this high-speed driving.

...

At this moment, Chen Nan had no idea that Su Qingqing had gone out to race, and thought she had returned to her room.

Today, he had expended too much energy; although it had been some time, his True Qi had only recovered to about twenty or thirty percent.

Sitting cross-legged on the bed, he began to restore his True Qi by circulating his Mysterious Skill.

About half an hour later, his True Qi was roughly fifty percent restored, and then he heard Su Yixuan’s voice from outside: ”Chen Nan, is Qingqing with you?”

Chen Nan restored his True Qi to his Dantian and stood up to open the door, ”She’s not here, what’s wrong?”

At this, Su Yixuan’s face turned pale: ”Qingqing is missing!”

”What?”

A shock ran through Chen Nan’s heart. Could it be that this girl hadn’t returned to her room to sleep after leaving his room?

He quickly took out his cellphone and dialed Su Qingqing’s number.

”The subscriber you dialed is temporarily unavailable...”

Chen Nan frowned, then tried a second call, but Su Qingqing still didn’t answer.

When he made the third call, the voice on the other end informed him that the subscriber had turned off her phone.

Seeing Chen Nan put down his phone, Su Yixuan asked in confusion, ”What happened?”

”She’s turned off her phone.”

Without further explanation, Chen Nan thought for a moment, then hurried outside.

”Where are you going?”

”To see if her car is still there.”

As he spoke, Chen Nan had already run to the parking lot, only to find that Su Qingqing’s car was gone.

”She must have driven out.” Chen Nan quickly took out his phone and called Qin Yixuan: ”Crazy woman, quickly check with the Traffic Police Team; see if they’ve caught anything on the cameras on the road of the license plate XXXXX? It’s a Ferrari 458, no time to explain, it’s urgent.”

”Okay, I’ll call you back soon.” Qin Yixuan hung up.

At this time, Eastern Yun Fei and Liu Tiantian also ran out: ”What happened?”

”Qingqing has disappeared,” Chen Nan replied, his mind racing with thoughts of where the girl might have gone.

He regretted the words he had spoken, knowing that she had been pampered like a little princess since she was young and had probably never faced such an insult. Now driving out, she was almost certainly speeding to vent her frustrations.

Two minutes later, Qin Yixuan returned his call.

”According to the Traffic Police Team, half an hour ago, the car was speeding on the road, with top speeds estimated to have exceeded three hundred...”

Chen Nan interrupted her, ”That’s not what I’m asking! Where is the car now?”

”It’s on Nanyuan Road, there’s a camera there that captured it stopped by the side of the road.”

”Good, thanks. I’ll treat you to dinner next time.”

After saying this, Chen Nan hung up before she could respond, and told the others, ”It’s on Nanyuan Road.”

”Let’s take my car,” Yixuan said as she handed over the keys.

”Sure!”

Chen Nan grabbed the keys and dove into the Ferrari.

After Yixuan got into the car from the other side, Chen Nan started the engine and sped off like he was flying a plane.

The rush hour had passed, and there weren’t many vehicles on the road. Chen Nan floored the accelerator, reaching Nanyuan Road in just a few minutes at top speed.

While still a distance away, they could see Qingqing’s car parked by the side of the road.

Chen Nan rushed over, stopped next to her, and prepared to get out of the car. Just then, Qingqing, who had been crying over the steering wheel, looked up, saw him, and immediately sped off.

”Girl, wait a second!”

Chen Nan called out from behind, but Qingqing, seeming not to hear, continued to accelerate.

Watching her departing car, Chen Nan quickly jumped back into his vehicle and chased after her furiously.

He silently cursed himself for not completely restoring his Inner Strength; otherwise, he could have just used the Absorption Star Method right there and then. Yet, with his current lack of Inner Strength, even if he executed the Absorption Star Method, he couldn’t catch her car from this distance.

”It looked like she was crying. How did this happen?” Yixuan asked.

”It’s my fault, I made her angry,” Chen Nan answered and then focused on driving, chasing after the car without saying anything more.

The two top-class Ferraris, both 458s, identical except for their license plates, tore down the road at speeds exceeding 350 km/h.

At such speeds, even hardcore racers would hesitate to go so fast.

Today, Qingqing had lost her senses, disregarding the danger she would usually never drive so recklessly.

Soon, the two cars arrived at the embankment of the Ningjiang River, one chasing the other. Chen Nan had the accelerator pressed to the floor but couldn’t catch up to Qingqing, staying about fifty meters behind.

Just as they were about to reach Ningjiang Bridge No. 1, ahead on the embankment, two sedans were blocking the road, surrounded by dozens of people, apparently due to a traffic accident, completely blocking any cars from passing.

With her current speed, Qingqing couldn’t stop the car in time. If she tried to push through, she would definitely hit the people on the road.

”Screech screech screech...”

A sound of tires screeching came as Qingqing swung the wheel to avoid hitting anyone and turned towards Ningjiang Bridge No.1.

But traveling at 300 km/h, as soon as she swung the car, its body drifted uncontrollably and directly smashed through the bridge’s pedestrian railing, plunging into the raging river below.
