School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 382: Chapter 436: Dummy, Be My Boyfriend!

”Uh...”

Chen Nan looked at her puzzled, touched his nose, and smiled, ”What new trick are you playing now, girl?”

Su Qingqing pouted her lips, ”Who’s prettier, me or the coquettish Fei?”

Chen Nan’s head began to ache.

Do all women like to ask this question?

”Both of you are beautiful, both are great beauties.”

Chen Nan could only say that much, as purely based on facial features, it was very difficult to tell who was superior; however, Eastern Yun Fei tended toward a sexy and charming style, while Su Qingqing was more innocent and cute.

”What kind of answer is that?”

Su Qingqing puffed her cheeks, clearly unhappy, ”Don’t tell me you don’t know, I have to compare myself with her and settle this once and for all today!”

Chen Nan felt a headache coming on, full of black lines. Was this girl getting jealous?

”You’re beautiful, of course, you are beautiful.”

Chen Nan had to placate her like this, even though, for him, Eastern Yun Fei’s sexiness held a greater allure, these were words he would never say in front of Su Qingqing unless he was out of his mind.

The previously fuming Su Qingqing suddenly brightened up, smiling from ear to ear, ”You mean it? You’re not lying?”

”No, absolutely not.”

Chen Nan, with a face full of sincerity, patted his chest and said, ”You’re my cousin, after all. Even if I were to deceive the whole world, I would never deceive you. So, you gotta believe your cousin.”

”Alright, I believe you.”

Su Qingqing stood up, her face beaming with happiness, and hopped over to Chen Nan, gazing intently into his eyes.

Feeling Su Qingqing’s stare, Chen Nan, sitting on the bed, felt uncomfortable all over, ”Um, girl, could you not look at me like that?”

As he spoke, he shifted his body to the side.

”Don’t move.”

Su Qingqing stood in front of him, stretched her arms forward, placing them on his shoulders, bent down slightly, and looked down at him.

Chen Nan’s eyes, looking straight ahead, could only see the perfectly rounded Jade Peaks on Su Qingqing’s chest.

Although not as large as Liu Tiantian’s and Eastern Yun Fei’s, Su Qingqing’s were of the normal kind, neither too big nor too small, looking quite perfect.

”Gurgle...”

Unable to help himself, Chen Nan swallowed.

He was starting to struggle to remain calm. What in the world did she want by getting so close?

”Do they look good?”

Su Qingqing asked out of the blue.

”They look good... not good, I mean, I wasn’t looking...” Chen Nan, his face flushed with embarrassment, quickly averted his gaze.

It had taken a lot of courage for Su Qingqing to work up the nerve to ask that question, and now her face was flushed, her heart pounding.

Looking at Chen Nan before her, she took a deep breath, mustering all the courage she had, and bent down further, her soft, rosy lips moving towards Chen Nan’s lips.

Chen Nan was startled by her move, eyes widening in shock.

He never expected that the girl would be so bold as to kiss him so brazenly!

Su Qingqing’s heart was extremely nervous, her eyes round with anxiety as they locked with Chen Nan’s. In that moment, she experienced the feeling of a kiss, tasting the flavor of happiness.

Although it was not Chen Nan’s first kiss, he was completely thrown off balance by her in that instant.

Their eyes were fixed on each other, as if time had stopped in that moment. Chen Nan felt a sweet happiness in his heart, a feeling he had never had when Jiang Xiaomi and Liu Tiantian had forcefully kissed him in the past.

For a fleeting moment, Chen Nan even doubted whether he had fallen in love with this girl.

Involuntarily, a scene from eight years ago surfaced in his mind: under a big tree, dandelions swirling in the air, he and his junior sister embracing and kissing, their shadows elongated in the setting sun, long, very long...

After many years, Chen Nan once again experienced that familiar feeling, only this time, the girl in front of him was not the same one from beneath the setting sun.

”Dummy, will you be my boyfriend?”

Su Qingqing’s voice jerked Chen Nan back to reality.

He didn’t know when, but she had already pulled away from him, now staring at him tenderly.

Still basking in the sweetness of their recent kiss, he didn’t think twice before nodding and saying, ”Okay!”

Seeing how easily Chen Nan agreed, Su Qingqing could hardly believe her ears and excitedly said, ”You agreed? That’s great, can you say it to me once again?”

Her clamor finally snapped Chen Nan back to his senses.

”No, that’s not, you... you heard wrong.”

Chen Nan quickly turned his head away, unable to directly look into her eyes.

He couldn’t deny in his heart that he had feelings for Su Qingqing, but to become her boyfriend was too much for him, even if he truly liked her, he couldn’t overcome his own hurdles.

His junior sister had faced life and death for him; their bond was something he could never repay. If he became Su Qingqing’s boyfriend now, he would truly become a heartless man when facing his junior sister in the future.

As for the matter with Li Xiao, it had been an act of helplessness. After all, what had happened couldn’t be undone.

Moreover, Li Xiao had only wanted to be his secret lover, not to replace his junior sister.

Su Qingqing watched Chen Nan with eager eyes: ”You clearly agreed just now, why are you going back on your word?”

”You really heard wrong.”

Chen Nan still kept his head turned away, afraid to look at Su Qingqing; he feared that one look at her face would unleash the feelings he was suppressing in his heart.

”You’re lying, do you think I’m three years old?” Su Qingqing genuinely didn’t understand why Chen Nan, who had just agreed, would now deny it. Her unblinking eyes focused on him: ”Look back at me and repeat what you just said.”

Chen Nan fell silent for a while: ”Girl, it’s late, go to sleep, will you? Please don’t pressure me.”

”I have to pressure you today,” Su Qingqing’s voice trembled with emotion, ”if you don’t make things clear to me, I’m going to pester you all night long!”

Chen Nan felt a twinge in his heart, once again touched.

After a brief moment of hesitation, he said, ”I really cherish our current friendship, I hope we won’t get to a point where things become too awkward between us. Can you understand that?”

Su Qingqing’s body shook, and she involuntarily took a few steps back.

Her eyes slightly moist, she looked at Chen Nan: ”Are you saying, if I press you further, you will cut ties with me?”

Chen Nan stared at the wall, silent.

Su Qingqing hoped for him to shake his head, but Chen Nan still said nothing. After a long while, she nodded, ”I understand what you mean.”

As she turned to run toward the door, Su Qingqing couldn’t hold back her tears anymore.

Only after she had left did Chen Nan stand up and go to lock the door, his own tears sliding down his face and dropping onto his shirt as he turned back: ”Girl, I’m sorry.”
