School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 371: Chapter 424: Strong Enemy Sneak Attack

After breakfast, Yun Fei made an excuse about work and bid farewell to the elders, departing with Chen Nan.

As soon as they left, Yun Fei glanced at Chen Nan and stretched out her arms, ”I have trouble walking; carry me to the parking lot.”

”If you’re lazy, just say it; no need for such a high-sounding excuse,” Chen Nan said with a wry smile, shaking his head and squatting down to carry her on his back. There was no helping it—after all, who was the one who’d bullied her last night? He had to make up for it somehow.

Since Yun Fei was feeling unwell, it was only natural for Chen Nan to become the designated driver.

”Drive slowly, okay!”

Yun Fei was all too aware of Chen Nan’s habit of speeding, so as soon as they got into the car, she issued a warning.

”Relax, my skills won’t kill you,” Chen Nan said with a grin, starting the car and notably slowing down compared to his usual speed.

Looking at the man beside her, who was three years her junior, Yun Fei felt somewhat odd as she reminded him, ”Don’t forget what you just promised my mom. You’ll cherish me in the future and not bully me, understand?”

Chen Nan glanced at her, ”It’s just an act, you’re not taking it seriously, are you?”

”Hmph, a gentleman’s word is his bond; are you planning to go back on your word?” Yun Fei stared at him and said, ”You better treat me well. If I tell you to go east, you’re not allowed to go west, or else you’re not a man.”

Chen Nan stared back at her, ”Damn, are you sick? Do you think I’m a slave or something?”

Yun Fei waved her fist at him, ”You deadbeat, my innocence is ruined by you, and I’m not asking you to take responsibility. Would it kill you to treat me a bit nicer?”

Chen Nan had nothing to say and could only nod his head repeatedly.

”That’s more like a brave man,” Yun Fei said with a bit of smugness. ”When we get home, you have to carry me out of the car, got it?”

I’ll endure it!

Chen Nan clenched his teeth and nodded, ”No problem.”

Yun Fei giggled, really enjoying the sensation of bossing someone around, especially bossing around Chen Nan, giving her a sense of conquering a powerful adversary.

Seeing her so smug she was nearly laughing her teeth off, Chen Nan originally wanted to retort, but at that moment, he noticed two familiar figures standing in the middle of the road ahead.

My junior sister and Huo Xinya!

What are they doing here?

Chen Nan felt a surge of excitement and quickly slammed on the brakes, causing Yun Fei to almost hit her head on the dashboard.

”You jerk, what are you doing?”

Yun Fei’s eyes were wide with shock, but Chen Nan was staring at the two people on the road, paying her no heed.

”There are two friends of mine on the road; just wait for me a minute,” Chen Nan said, hurrying out of the car, excitedly calling out, ”Yiyi, when did you come out?”

At that moment, Huo Xinya also saw Chen Nan and hurriedly called out, ”Chen Nan, don’t come over; she’s not my sister!”

Not my junior sister?

Chen Nan’s expression changed. The one opposite must be Ye Ruoshui, the disciple of the Assassin without a soul, the enemy who looked exactly like my junior sister. If she was with Huo Xinya now, she must have kidnapped her.

Indeed, the moment Huo Xinya finished speaking, Ye Ruoshui grabbed her neck tightly and said coldly, ”Chen Nan, I have been waiting for you for a long time. As far as I know, she must be your younger aunt, right?”

”So what if she is?”

Chen Nan took large strides towards her, shouting, ”Let her go!”

”Stop!”

Ye Ruoshui issued a cold command, squeezing Huo Xinya’s neck even tighter, ”I bear no grudge against her and do not wish to harm the innocent. If you want me to release her, that’s fine. Just die in front of me, and I will let her go immediately.”

”I know you want to avenge your master, but your master deserved to die for his indiscriminate killing!”

Chen Nan pointed at Ye Ruoshui and said, ”Let her go quickly. I won’t hold it against you. If you are obstinate, you’ll just end up following in your master’s footsteps!”

”How boastful!”

Ye Ruoshui became agitated, shouting angrily, ”Don’t scare me with big words. If you really had the ability, you would have taken action already, instead of wasting time here with words! I’ll give you ten more seconds to think. If you don’t kill yourself, I’ll crush her throat and let her die in front of you, so you can feel the pain of losing a loved one!”

As she spoke, she increased the pressure on her hand, causing Huo Xinya’s breathing to become labored and her face to turn pale.

Seeing Huo Xinya struggling to breathe, Chen Nan’s heart ached and he quickly said, ”Ye Ruoshui, calm down, let’s talk this out.”

The situation was such that there was a fifty-meter gap between them. Even if Chen Nan used darts, he was not certain he could rescue Huo Xinya. If he acted rashly, the most likely outcome was that he would kill Ye Ruoshui with a dart, and at the same time, Ye Ruoshui would also crush Huo Xinya’s throat.

Ye Ruoshui did not relax her grip in the slightest, ”You have five more seconds.”

Chen Nan’s heart was torn with conflict.

He certainly did not want to die, but looking at Ye Ruoshui’s resolve, if he didn’t die, she would surely kill Huo Xinya without hesitation.

”The ten seconds have passed; it looks like you don’t want to save her life,” Ye Ruoshui said coldly, her face filled with a killing aura. She started to exert force, lifting Huo Xinya by her neck, who was visibly in pain and struggling desperately, but to no avail.

A sharp pain stabbed through Chen Nan’s heart, and through gritted teeth, he said, ”Release her, and I’ll agree to your condition.”

”I want you to die now!”

Ye Ruoshui barked her demand and put Huo Xinya back down to the ground but kept her fingers tight around her neck.

”Fine, as you wish,” Chen Nan said, pulling out a dart from his person and holding it in his hand.

”Chen Nan, don’t!”

After catching her breath, Huo Xinya shouted anxiously, ”Kill me if you want, I’m not afraid! Even if I die, it doesn’t matter, but you can’t die—your sister is still waiting for you to rescue her!”

”Slap...”

Ye Ruoshui slapped her face and shouted angrily, ”Shut your mouth.”

”Don’t hit her, I’ll die right now!”

Seeing the slap mark on Huo Xinya’s face, Chen Nan felt a surge of heartache. He gripped the darts tightly and suddenly plunged one into his left chest.

”Pff...”

As the dart sank up to the hilt, Chen Nan spat a mouthful of fresh blood and collapsed weakly to the ground.

”Chen Nan, what’s wrong? What happened?”

The Eastern Yun Fei rushed over and when she saw Chen Nan, covered in blood, she was so anxious she didn’t know what to do.

”My love, listen to me, quickly go back... back to the carriage.”

Chen Nan smiled faintly, his mouth continuously spilling blood. Using his hand for support on the ground, he pointed at Ye Ruoshui and said weakly, ”Let... let her go.”

Ye Ruoshui, to her credit, didn’t play dirty. She struck Huo Xinya at the back of the neck, knocking her out cold, then like lightning, she rushed toward Chen Nan, launching a ferocious palm strike to finish him off.

”To hell with you!”

Just as Chen Nan appeared to be on his last breath, a bright white light suddenly burst forth from him. With a push of his legs against the ground, he leaped up like a wild leopard and threw a palm strike at Ye Ruoshui.

The True Qi of Qi Dao Eighth Layer Heaven surged mightily, making the void thunder with its power.

Ye Ruoshui, merely at the Qi Dao Sixth Layer, stood no chance against Chen Nan’s palm strike. She was hurled dozens of meters away, tumbling repeatedly on the ground, blood gushing from her mouth.

”How... how is this possible!”

Pointing at Chen Nan, Ye Ruoshui struggled to get up, unable to comprehend how, with a dart stabbed straight into his heart, he could still unleash such powerful Inner Strength.

Chen Nan glanced at the dart embedded in his chest, blood droplets falling steadily. He walked toward Ye Ruoshui and said, ”Keeping you around is always a curse. Today, I’ll let you die with your eyes open, for my heart is unlike others—it’s on the right side.”

Indeed, there are people in the world whose hearts are on the right side.

In the medical community, these individuals are called ”situs inversus,” and their organs like the heart, liver, spleen, and gallbladder are positioned oppositely to those of a normal person, with the heart and spleen on the right and the liver on the left.

The positions of the heart, liver, and spleen are like mirror images of normal organs, thus they are termed ”situs inversus.”

Chen Nan’s previous dart strike did cause severe injury, but it didn’t hit his vital heart. As long as he suppressed the injury with his Inner Strength, he could still handle Ye Ruoshui for a short time.

Ye Ruoshui stared at Chen Nan furiously, ”You’re cheating!”

Chen Nan raised his hand slightly, white Inner Strength pulsing in his palm. Coughing blood from the corner of his mouth, he charged at Ye Ruoshui, ”Since you’re courting death, I’ll grant your wish today!”

Ye Ruoshui gave a cold laugh, ”The person who is going to die today is you!”

As soon as her words fell, Chen Nan felt a fierce gust of wind from behind, signaling an attack from a powerful enemy!

”Chen Nan, watch out behind you!”

Eastern Yun Fei shouted loudly.

”Boom...”

Without time to turn around, Chen Nan swung a palm back with full force.

”Bang!”

The moment his Inner Strength collided with the opponent’s, Chen Nan felt a familiar aura. Then he was sent flying dozens of meters, coughing up large amounts of blood and crashing into a tree by the side of the road, his whole body wracked with pain as if it were splitting apart.

Gongsun Yudie!

Chen Nan propped himself up from the ground, swaying to his feet. Looking at Gongsun Yudie, who had ambushed him, he felt a strange sensation.

This woman had tried to kill him three times now. Each time she succeeded in her sneak attacks, but would always let him go at the crucial moment. He couldn’t understand what she truly wanted.

”What are you hot-headed about now?”

Chen Nan spat out a mouthful of bloody sputum, glaring at Gongsun Yudie.

The dart strike he had suffered earlier left him severely wounded, greatly reducing his strength. And now, Gongsun Yudie’s latest palm strike had caused his Qi and blood to churn violently, exacerbating his injuries.

”Today, I will surely take your life, no mercy!”

Gongsun Yudie stated coldly, a thousand layers of Killing Aura swirling between her brows as she moved step by step toward Chen Nan.

”You damn woman, how dare you ambush him. I’ll fight you to the death!”

Suddenly, a loud shout echoed. The Eastern Yun Fei strode toward Gongsun Yudie, swinging her fists straight at her head.

”Presumptuous!”

Gongsun Yudie sneered disdainfully and with a single palm strike, sent the Eastern Yun Fei flying over ten meters away, where she fell to the ground, rolled her eyes back, and fainted.

”Fuck you! Why don’t you come at me, hitting a powerless woman, what kind of skill is that!”

Chen Nan was seething with rage, his eyes turning red. Holding back his injury, he circulated the Thunderbolt Hand Heart Method. His True Qi instantly turned a purplish gold, with lightning swirling around him, exuding the supreme secret technique of Martial Arts.

He activated the Thunderbolt Hand Heart Method with the True Essence of Martial Arts, Chen Nan’s most powerful offensive move.

Thunderbolt Hand, infused with the power of lightning, as Chen Nan unleashed a palm strike, electrical arcs danced around his hand. The peerless force poured out like a reversing river, making the void tremble as he relentlessly assaulted Gongsun Yudie.

”Just a futile struggle.”

Gongsun Yudie snorted derisively. She stomped her foot on the ground and flew toward Chen Nan to kill him.
