King of the Wilderness

(Note: There is an Emily storyline. Pure love fans who don’t like it shouldn’t subscribe to this chapter. This chapter plants the seed for the future Alaska gold rush side story.)

The sound of running water stopped, and Lin Yu’an emerged from the bathroom, wrapped in a towel.

His hair was still dripping, and his bare upper body showed well-defined muscles, full of power.

He didn’t look at Emily on the bed, but instead walked straight to the window and pulled open the heavy curtains.

The sunlight of the polar day instantly flooded in, illuminating the entire room and highlighting the calm and rational expression on his face.

Emily also sat up, went into the bathroom for a shower, and while in there, she thought of the article she had read earlier, ”To Make a Man Notice You, Acting Coy is Just the Last Resort, Manipulating the Heart Works Better,” which said the first thing is to enhance attraction and meet his needs!

She looked down to check that her feet were out of sight, feeling confident that her attraction was adequate and didn’t need further enhancement.

So what were this man’s needs? Oh, right! Hormones running high! She had figured out his needs!

Emily wrapped a towel around herself, confidently walked out of the bathroom, looked at Lin Yu’an still by the window, and broke the silence: ”Little man, what are you thinking about?”

ps; Smart people always look into the mirror.

Lin Yu’an did not turn around; he merely looked out at the forest and calmly responded, ”Hmm?”

”Don’t you know I’m no little man? I don’t dare say I’m on par with blacks, but I can say it’s pretty close.”

Emily was amused by his words and laughed quietly, still silently watching him, seemingly waiting for Lin Yu’an to say more.

After a moment of silence, Lin Yu’an continued: ”That hard drive with 300 Bitcoins, I’ll keep it for now, but I only want a third as a price for your shooting at me; the remaining two-thirds are still yours.”

”I’ll wait until the price rises to about ninety thousand US dollars before selling them off in batches.”

That night Lin Yu’an had thought a lot, first gaining a clearer understanding of his powers enhanced by the Golden Finger; he must control his strength in the future. He also figured out how to handle his relationship with Emily.

Since Lin Yu’an decided not to kill her, he also didn’t want to push her too hard; a combination of sweet and tough is the best strategy because this woman certainly isn’t as harmless as her sexy figure might suggest.

Then he could only deal with her coolly; if she didn’t provoke him, he wouldn’t threaten her into doing anything.

After all, he had video evidence that could threaten her, and with the United States’ bizarre laws, she definitely wouldn’t report it to the police.

Emily was quite surprised by his decision to only take a third of the Bitcoins; she had assumed he would naturally lay claim to the immense fortune for himself.

She had already prepared herself to lose both the person and the money.

A sudden rush of inexplicable complex feelings surged in her heart; she supposed this man didn’t know the current value of Bitcoin, as no one doesn’t love money, especially such sudden wealth.

But then it didn’t make sense; he had already predicted Bitcoin’s potential surge to ninety thousand US dollars.

”Do you know the current value of these Bitcoins?” Emily’s voice was a bit dry.

”There are 300 Bitcoin private keys! According to the current price, it’s over fifteen million US dollars! Are you still not planning to take it all?”

Lin Yu’an was tempted for a moment but suppressed his greed, as this amount of money wasn’t worth committing murder and robbery.

The NVIDIA stocks he bought had already been split in July, and his 3,333 shares had turned into 13,332 shares.

In just two months, their value had shot up from 1.8 million US dollars to 2.64 million US dollars, and this was just the beginning!

Lin Yu’an turned to look at her and said, ”The reason I’m helping you is just neighborly assistance, like how Stan and George helped me tirelessly.”

”Besides, didn’t you already offer your allegiance last night?”

This statement was like a knife, slicing through the veil between them, exposing the naked essence of their transaction.

Emily liked this directness, then thought of the lesson, meet his needs! The complex motivation of ”meeting needs” that she didn’t fully understand drove her towards Lin Yu’an.

She gently embraced Lin Yu’an from behind, placing her face and softness against his broad and warm back, and softly said, ”Thank you.”

Lin Yu’an’s body stiffened for a moment, but he didn’t push her away.

Emily pulled him to the bed, and once she sat down, her long legs lightly hooked around his waist from the side.

Lin Yu’an fell onto the bed with the momentum, her legs wrapping around him like vines, once again restraining him.

Her breath turned hot, whispering seductively in his ear: ”Since you’re so generous, I don’t mind paying another token of loyalty.”

The rational defenses Lin Yu’an had just built crumbled once again under the mature woman’s proactive and skillful advance.

Emily was in the prime of her life like a wolf or tiger, while Lin Yu’an had abstained for nearly three months.

The two were perfectly matched, equally formidable.

After the passion subsided once more, both felt much more at ease, the tension and estrangement brought by the incident seemed to dissolve considerably in the sweat.

Emily lazily leaned against the headboard, took a pack of ladies’ cigarettes from the bedside table, lit one up, and then slowly spoke, delivering another bombshell.
