Her chest heaved violently, the hostility in her eyes gradually being replaced by reason and contemplation.

”I believe you for now... but I still need to call the police! If you’re not really a bad guy, please help me call them.”

She gasped, her voice a bit hoarse, her face flushed with both lack of oxygen and shame.

”And... can you please get off me first?”

Lin Yu’an only then realized how inappropriate their position was.

Emily was at home wearing only a fitted thin cashmere sweater and yoga pants, and in the struggle just now, her clothes had become disheveled.

A strange blush appeared on her previously pale face, and her eyes took on a slightly meaningful look.

Lin Yu’an suddenly felt embarrassed, and like being scalded, he quickly got off her and stood to the side.

Emily also tidied her clothes and slowly sat up from the floor.

The awkward atmosphere didn’t last long as they began to discuss how to deal with the mess in front of them.

”Who is he?” Lin Yu’an pointed at the unconscious biker man.

”My ex-boyfriend’s partner.”

Emily’s face turned cold again: ”We once invested some money in Bitcoin together, and later, Bitcoin’s price skyrocketed absurdly.”

”My ex-boyfriend ended up dying in a car accident while out. The police said it was an accident, but I know it had to be him!”

”Let’s call the police,” Emily suggested.

”Breaking in with a gun, intent to murder, that’s enough to lock him up forever.”

”Okay, I’ll tie him up first to prevent him from resisting if he wakes up.”

Lin Yu’an agreed, walking over to the biker man, looking to find some rope to tie him up.

But after searching the room for a long time, he couldn’t find suitable rope.

Lin Yu’an removed his belt, intending to use it to tie the man’s hands.

But just as he bent down, before the belt touched the man’s wrist, the previously unconscious man suddenly opened his eyes, sprang up like a spring, and in his right hand was a knife!

He lunged at Lin Yu’an! Lin Yu’an hadn’t expected him to wake up so quickly! He had used too little force earlier!

But Lin Yu’an reacted faster! Without even thinking, he quickly dodged the knife attack, and instinctively, his right fist shot out like a cannonball!

This time, he didn’t deliberately control his strength, hitting the man’s temple with full force again!

”Bang!”

After a dull thud, the world fell silent.

The man’s body stiffened, then collapsed like a noodle.

Soon, Lin Yu’an realized something was wrong! The biker man’s body began to twitch slightly, and soon, there was no more breath...

Emily covered her mouth, letting out a muffled gasp.

Lin Yu’an stood there stunned, looking at his fist, then at the lifeless body on the floor, a chill rising from the soles of his feet.

He had killed someone! The uncontrolled strength was enough to reach the level of a professional fighter!

At this moment, countless solutions flashed through his mind, but calling the police was definitely out of the question! He had no legitimate reason to have entered Emily’s home and killed a person.

Before a judge, this would make no sense! The likelihood was he’d end up in jail! So absolutely, absolutely, he couldn’t call the police!

He glanced at the corpse on the floor, then at the only witness beside him—Emily.

An icy killing intent uncontrollably rose from his heart! If... if he also...

Emily seemed to sense the extremely dangerous aura that suddenly emanated from him, shrinking back instinctively, her eyes filled with terror, and her hand subconsciously reached for her own Ruger handgun not far away.

Lin Yu’an wouldn’t let her have her way.

He turned around expressionlessly, pretending to draw a gun from his back, but with a mental command, a loaded Glock 19 appeared in his hand.

The dark muzzle pointed instantly at Emily!

”Don’t move.” His voice was colder than the winds of Alaska.

Emily’s body froze completely.

Lin Yu’an stepped forward, used his belt to tie Emily’s hands behind her back, and also bound her feet.

Then, he walked out of the room, immediately stowing the black off-road motorcycle outside the yard into space, pulling out his Zongshen Tricycle along with several meters of giant black plastic sheeting from inside.

When he returned to the room with the plastic sheeting, Emily’s eyes were full of despair.

She watched Lin Yu’an spread the plastic sheeting in the center of the living room, shaking all over in fright.

She thought he was going to dispose of her and the corpse like trash.

Faced with the biker man earlier, she still had the courage to resist because she thought the other wouldn’t really kill her before getting what he wanted.

But Lin Yu’an was different, he now had a reason to silence her!

”Don’t kill me!” Emily’s voice cracked, completely breaking down.

”I... I’m friends with Stan! He even mentioned you in front of me, saying you’re a good person!”

”For Stan’s sake, and for George... please don’t kill me!”

”I... I can give you money! The hard drive! The hard drive is under the fireplace! If you break the floor tiles, you’ll see it! Inside is the private key to 300 Bitcoins! They’re all yours! They’re all yours!”

She looked at Lin Yu’an, her eyes full of pleading: ”I can also do anything for you! Aren’t... aren’t your hormones very strong? I... I can help you...”
