King of the Wilderness

Chapter 105: Chapter 101: Major Domestic Shopping Spree!

He contacted the shop of the Jinhua Ham intangible heritage successor and ordered two high-grade hams aged for five years, costing eight thousand eight hundred yuan.

Sichuan handmade Doubanjiang workshop, fifty kilograms of premium red oil Doubanjiang, together with a custom earthenware vat, three thousand yuan.

Thirty small pots of beef tallow hot pot base, three thousand yuan.

Lin Yu’an’s mouse moved on the screen, switching from a heavy industry platform to a more down-to-earth agricultural and lifestyle products website.

He first opened an online store specializing in large kitchen equipment, his eyes locking directly onto the unpretentious ”rural large stove and pot integrated” equipment.

”Boss, does this 80 cm diameter thickened cast iron pot come with a matching lid and a long-handled spatula?”

”Yes, brother! It’s a complete set, and the pot walls are solid!” the customer service replied instantly.

Lin Yu’an could almost picture the future scene.

In the snowy winter nights of Alaska, this big iron pot bubbling away with a whole pot of moose meat stewed with potatoes, the aroma filling the entire house.

Without hesitation, he ordered two large pots and a full set of accessories, one for personal use and one as a spare.

Beyond the major categories of ”infrastructure” and ”agriculture,” Lin Yu’an began purchasing those items that truly exemplify Eastern life wisdom, the ”Eastern artifacts” absolutely unseen in the United States, especially in Alaska.

To achieve long-term food storage, a commercial-grade high-power vacuum packing machine and thousands of matching vacuum bags were also decisively acquired.

He hoped that during hunting season, this machine could work tirelessly day and night to perfectly preserve precious proteins.

Considering Alaska’s long and dark winters and the extreme demand for heat, he also purchased several ”Little Sun” reflective heaters.

Finally, he thought about the core of the cabin—the heating system.

A fireplace is a must, though it creates atmosphere, it is not very efficient.

There is still a need for a truly reliable heating system capable of withstanding temperatures of minus forty degrees Celsius.

He carefully compared products from several well-known brands and ultimately settled on a high-power cast iron water heater specifically designed for large independent residences.

”Hello, for the ’Warm Winter S-200’ heater, what is the maximum heating area? Are there any fuel requirements?”

”Hello boss! This model is our flagship product, using a thickened cast iron furnace chamber with a high-efficiency water jacket design. The theoretical heating area can reach 200-250 square meters.”

”It can burn wood, coal, and gas, and the top of the stove can be used directly for boiling water and cooking, it’s very practical!”

”Can this system be connected to underfloor heating pipes? Also, does it support natural circulation in case of a power outage?”

”Absolutely! Many of our customers connect it to underfloor heating. The furnace body is designed with optimized circulation piping, so as long as your pipeline layout is reasonable, you can achieve natural circulation heating without electricity, absolutely reliable!”

This was exactly the answer Lin Yu’an wanted! A powerful heat source that does not rely on external energy, can use locally sourced fuel, integrating room heating, whole house heating, domestic hot water, and cooking.

It has the soul of a Chinese ”kang bed-stove” and the comfort of modern water heating, making it truly perfect.

”I’ll take it.”

Lin Yu’an immediately placed the order and also purchased an entire set of spare circulation pumps, thermostatic valves, and high-pressure connection fittings.

With this unpretentious ”Warm Winter S-200,” his home in Alaska will have the warmest assurance against the cold.

In the following weeks, Old Mao’s phone calls would come in almost daily, reporting the progress, his tone shifting from initial excitement to numbness and shock.

After planning everything in Montana and waiting for Old Mao to inform him that all the goods had arrived, Lin Yu’an prepared to say goodbye to Aliya and his family and embark on his journey back to China.

His reason was that he needed to return to take care of some personal affairs, and Aliya just reminded him to stay safe and come back soon.

The babies were still quite young, so there was no plan to bring Aliya and them back to China with him.
