The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 276: Chapter 275: Returning Home

Seeing Fan Qianshu, Er Ya’s gaze was somewhat complicated.

This person in front of her had caused her quite a bit of trouble. However, it was also because of him that she found this lucrative and leisurely part-time job. So after hesitating for a moment, she still smiled and greeted him.

”Senior Fan, why are you here?”

Seeing the detachment in Er Ya’s demeanor, Fan Qianshu couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows slightly, then said, ”I’m here to apologize for what happened last time. Because of me, you got slapped. I’m really sorry, I also didn’t stop it in time, so it’s really my fault, I’m truly sorry.”

Hearing this, Er Ya was somewhat surprised and hurriedly said, ”Senior Fan, this isn’t your fault.”

”No matter what, it’s still my fault. How about I treat you to a meal after school this afternoon?”

Er Ya refused without even thinking.

If Shui Bingqing were to see her having a meal with Fan Qianshu again, she might face more trouble.

Seeing Er Ya refuse without hesitation, Fan Qianshu raised his eyebrows once more.

He could tell that this young girl in front of him was truly avoiding him. Before the incident with Shui Bingqing, she could still talk with him for a bit. After it happened, she kept her distance. It seems his charm has diminished since there’s a girl who wants to avoid him.

Seeing Fan Qianshu not speaking, Er Ya hurriedly said, ”Senior Fan, I’ve been overwhelmed with coursework recently, so I’m really sorry.”

Fan Qianshu heard this and didn’t try to persuade her further. After saying a few more words to Er Ya, he went directly back to the classroom.

Er Ya looked around, and finding no one nearby, she let out a long sigh of relief.

Fan Qianshu is really too popular; she was afraid that if people at school saw them together, she’d be surrounded by more girls.

Meanwhile, after getting to the classroom, Yiyi took out her textbook to start studying.

Tao Cuizhu saw her and quickly asked, ”Yiyi, how’s your revision coming along? The end-of-term exams are almost here; I wonder if the papers will be difficult?”

Upon hearing this, Cao Panpan couldn’t help but say.

”Dorm leader, with your grades, what are you worrying about? We are the ones who should be worried.”

”Yeah, dorm leader, you really don’t need to worry.” Even Wei Xiwen couldn’t help but add, and finally, she looked at the two empty seats next to her, saying, ”It’s An Xueqing and Feng Yudan who should be worried. They’ve missed quite a few classes this semester, who knows how they’ll do in the exams.”

Talking about An Xueqing and Feng Yudan, Tao Cuizhu couldn’t understand them the most.

”I really don’t know what they’re thinking, shooting one movie and then going on to shoot a second one, they’ve wasted so much study time. I hope they won’t regret it later.”

After saying this, the class teacher came in, so Tao Cuizhu didn’t say more.

On Friday, Yiyi packed her things and went straight home.

Ding Yuejun saw her daughter return and couldn’t help but talk about the clothing store issues, ”Yiyi, your Aunt Yin introduced me to someone last time who was really great. Now I’m not as busy as before.”

When she heard this, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile and say, ”Looks like we’ll have to find an opportunity to properly thank Aunt Yin next time.”

”Yeah, so I’ve invited them over for dinner tomorrow.”

When she saw her mother had already made arrangements, Yiyi smiled and nodded, then asked about the New Year’s plans, ”Mom, when are we going back to Houshan Town? What are the exact dates for my sister’s labor?”

”I contacted Xiao Hong before, and it seems it will be around the tenth. But I plan to go back early, since on New Year’s Day we need to pay respects to your grandmother’s grave, and your uncles will also be there.”

Upon hearing this, Yiyi nodded and said, ”Okay, then we can go back once my end-of-term exams are over.”

”Alright.”

Mother and daughter settled their plans and sat down to eat with smiles.

The next day, Yiyi first went to the pharmacy factory.

Mo Ping had almost been living there lately, so he was already there when Yiyi arrived.

Seeing everything proceeding orderly, Yiyi didn’t plan to stay long and was about to leave directly, but as the year-end approached, she asked Mo Ping about his plans.

”Boss, I’m not planning to go back. The factory and pharmacy need someone to oversee them. Although the new guys are pretty good, I still don’t feel at ease.”

”It’s just a matter of a few days.” Yiyi involuntarily tried to persuade him.

Mo Ping, however, laughed and said, ”Actually, I haven’t had family for a long time. Whether I go back or not doesn’t make much difference, so I’m really not going back.”

Seeing Mo Ping’s firm stance, Yiyi didn’t try to persuade him further and just nodded, saying, ”Since you’ve made up your mind, it’ll be a hard time for you during the New Year period.”

”It’s not difficult; if we can see Wuming Pharmacy’s medicine pills sell well across the country, it’ll all be worth it despite the hardships.” He had watched the pharmacy grow over time and felt a deep attachment to it.

After checking the factory, Yiyi went directly back, but instead of going home, she went next door to find Guo Ming.

”Master, what are your plans for New Year? Are you going back to the Yin sect?”

Guo Ming nodded and said, ”Yes, I’ll be bringing Pei Jin to the Yin sect for New Year. As for Pei Wu, they’ll be going back with you to Houshan Town.” He knew his young apprentice would definitely go back, so he arranged everything.

Upon hearing this, Yiyi didn’t refuse. She was indeed worried about something happening to her mother, so having Pei Wu with her was a good idea. ”Master, I’ll visit the Yin sect to pay New Year’s respects once I return.”

”Haha... Sure.”

Guo Ming laughed when he heard this.

On Monday, Yiyi returned to school, but the last week was mainly focused on revision. When the day of the end-of-term exams came, the students entered their respective test rooms to take the exams.

”Phew... Finally done with the exams.” Cao Panpan said as she returned to the dorm, stretching and eagerly starting to pack her things. ”After the exams, I can finally go home. I haven’t seen my parents for half a year; I used to find them annoying, but now I just want to see them soon.”

The others felt pretty much the same.

Having packed her things, Yiyi went directly to the Shichahai area; as soon as she entered, she saw Er Ya had also returned.

”Er Ya, you’re pretty quick, coming back earlier than me.”

Seeing Yiyi, Er Ya was very happy too, ”I packed my things a long time ago, so once the exams ended, I hurried back.”

Ding Yuejun saw the two had prepared and quickly said, ”No rush, let’s eat something before we set off so we don’t get hungry on the road.” Saying this, she brought out dumplings she had prepared in advance.

Seeing this, Yiyi and Er Ya sat down and ate some.

After the three finished eating, Ding Yuejun picked up her packed things and waved her hand, saying, ”Let’s go, we’re heading out now.”
