Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2387: Chapter 1793: The Mastermind Behind the Scenes (Part 2)

”Mr. John, you are too kind,” Mr. Samba chuckled and gestured to Bai Xiaosheng, introducing him to the old John, ”This is Mr. Bai from the Huaxia Business Group, a friend of mine. I’ve brought him to visit our Green Sky Company today. Is this a convenient time for you, Mr. John?”

”Pleasure to meet you!” Old John smiled at Bai Xiaosheng, warmly shaking hands.

”Pleasure to meet you, Mr. John!” Bai Xiaosheng replied with a natural smile.

Old John, having profound experience, observed that this young Huaxia person’s eyes were bright yet restrained, showing no sharpness, but upon closer inspection, revealed a subtle aura of authority that was unusual for ordinary people, especially young people.

This person is not simple!

This was Old John’s first impression of Bai Xiaosheng.

Then, Old John smiled at Deputy Mayor Samba and said, ”Convenient indeed. We have just resolved some internal issues, and I regret not accepting your suggestion earlier. Unfortunately, it’s too late now. But luckily, our esteemed guests have arrived, and I will personally guide both of you for a tour later. Feel free to see anything.”

Hearing this, the last bit of dissatisfaction in Deputy Mayor Samba’s heart vanished, and a smile appeared.

”Please, both of you, come to my office; let’s sit down and talk slowly.” Old John made a ’please’ gesture.

Deputy Mayor Samba nodded, also gestured ’please’ to Bai Xiaosheng, who politely nodded and walked forward together.

As Old John fell slightly behind, Jenny seized the moment to approach him and whispered, ”Mr. John!”

Old John’s eyes twinkled slightly; he nodded to Jenny with a smile, then signaled Vice President Zack to attend to Jenny. He said nothing more and stepped quickly to catch up with the two people ahead.

It was not the right time to talk.

It was not due to Old John’s negligence.

Jenny, being smart, understood this principle well, and she wasn’t convenient to linger in front of Deputy Mayor Samba and Bai Xiaosheng.

Firstly, it would affect their mood; secondly, Jenny needed to confirm something along the way and urgently report it to her boss, requiring a private space.

Watching Old John accompany Deputy Mayor Samba and Bai Xiaosheng leave, Zack approached Jenny with a grin, ”Miss Jenny, you see Mr. John is tied up right now; would you like me to take you to the lounge to rest for a while?”

Jenny instantly flashed a charming smile at Vice President Zack, ”That would be so kind of you, Vice President Zack.”

This smile made Vice President Zack feel a tingle all over, warming his gentleman-like smile.

”Please, this way!” Vice President Zack said enthusiastically.

Leaving the other side aside, Vice President Zack escorted Jenny to a tastefully decorated small lounge, ordered tea, water, fruits, and even intended to personally accompany her for conversation, showing utmost courtesy to Jenny.

”Mr. Zack, I think you should head to Mr. John’s side first. Just in case anything requires your attention, I’ll sit here for a while on my own,” Jenny said with a smile from the sofa, ”We can chat once you’re done over there.”

This beautiful woman is not only pretty but truly understanding and considerate.

Zack thought it over, found it reasonable, and immediately said with a smile, ”Then, I’ll go check. If Miss Jenny has any needs here, feel free to let them know; I’ve arranged for someone to wait outside.”

Jenny immediately smiled and nodded.

Only then did Zack turn and leave after instructing those outside, heading towards General Manager John’s side to stand by for directives.

Actually, Vice President Zack also wanted to show himself.

Not long ago, he nearly caused trouble downstairs, and if he didn’t perform well now to make up for it, it wouldn’t be good.

Seeing Zack leave, Jenny waited for a while, confirmed nobody would interrupt, and then took out her phone, dialing a number.

Once connected, Jenny promptly said eagerly, ”Miss Caroline, this is Jenny, I have something to report to you!”

This Miss Jenny was, in fact, sent by Caroline, the head of Zhenbei Group’s North American region!

...

Back then, Bai Xiaosheng made things very difficult for Caroline in North America, even costing her the chance to compete for Mayor of Ganande City and enter the political arena.

Caroline harbored deep hatred towards Bai Xiaosheng and firmly sided with Vice Chairman Morgan.

Whether Bai Xiaosheng intended it or not, his actions inadvertently strengthened the Zhenbei Group headquarters’ ’East Faction’, which, led by Vice Chairmen Lu Cheng’an and Li Yunyuan, would certainly not easily agree to move against Bai Xiaosheng.

Vice Chairman Morgan and Caroline waited like hunters for their chance while beginning to pull together any forces that could help them.

The African region’s career president became ill recently, potentially stepping down; the African region has both a principal and deputy executive officer, either could ascend. However, the principal is more inclined to a neutral stance, and the deputy executive officer has close ties with Morgan’s group.

Caroline dispatched many envoys, ostensibly exploring cooperation possibilities between the two regions, but actually trying to cooperate extensively with companies directly under the deputy executive officer, enhancing his performance, to gain the capital necessary for high-level competition soon.

Moreover, they maintained some undisclosed collaborations between each other.

That’s why Jenny came to Green Sky for cooperation, causing Green Sky to abandon the chance with the Huaxia Business Group. Business is limited, cooperation opportunities are few; gains and losses, fish and bear’s paw, cannot both be achieved.
