Emperor’s Domination

Black Witch Monarch’s shamelessness earned him a disdainful glance from the juniors.

”Let’s go back to the secret, shall we?” The monarch smiled happily.

”You only got here recently, what secret do you know?” The princess remained a skeptic.

”Well, to explain this, we have to start with my vast knowledge, you all can’t possibly fathom how much I know.” He patted his chest.

”Please.” She remarked.

”What secret?” Li Qiye entertained him.

”There are actually two, one big and one small.” He smirked.

”Please go on.” Li Xian asked curiously.

”The big one is that Bodhi Ancestor is resting here.” He looked around first before revealing.

”Impossible!” Everyone blurted in unison.

”Impossible? What the hell do you know?” He became displeased.

”Old Ruin was a broken place so how could Bodhi Ancestor be buried here? He should be buried in Life and Death Heaven.” Li Xian said.

”Amitabha, indeed.” Monk Zhu placed his palms together and said: ”Bodhi Ancestor has a deep connection with Life and Death Heaven, hence their full support during his ascension. Even if he had failed, he wouldn’t be sent down here.”

”I wholeheartedly agree, he should not be in Old World, and especially not Old Ruin. Desolate Frontier is more plausible.” Princess Chen said.

”Not in our place.” Mu Hu scratched his head.

”Fine, don’t believe me then and just miss out on all the fortunes due to your own incapability. None of my business.” The monarch glared angrily.

His confidence made them waver.

”What if it’s true?” Orchidcore whispered.

”Then maybe the legendary legacy is here too.” Mu Hu said.

”Oh? Brat, you know about legacies? Maybe you’re not stupid after all.” The monarch didn’t like how Mu Hu preferred to act innocent.

”A legacy here...” The princess became startled.

”No way, if it does exist, Staff Ancestor would have found it already.” Orchidcore said.

”Amitabha. Rumor has it that this place is related to Heavenly Sin Redemption Ground.” Monk Zhu said.

”No one can verify these matters.” Li Xian added.

”What about the small secret?” Li Qiye only smiled at the rumors and asked.

”Hah, it pertains to True Dragon Court.” The monarch laughed.

”True Dragon Court? It’s been gone long ago.” The group was confused.

True Dragon Court was the Li’s neighbor but was destroyed by Dingtian.

”Yes, but there are still embers.” The monarch said.

”Embers? Like descendants?” Orchidcore asked.

”No, it’s that Yesha.” The monarch elaborated.

”Yesha! But that’s an ominous and evil entity.” Li Xian said.

”Shows how much you know, little one. Yesha is a type of true dragon, magical and precious. That’s why the masters from Life and Death Heaven only sealed it in Old Ruin despite its heinous actions, to preserve a seed from True Dragon Court.” The monarch said.

”That does explain some things.” Li Xian murmured. Life and Death Heaven could have killed it back then instead of sealing it.

”The masters who descended... I believe they were Skyflame Phoenix and Iron-sword Maiden’s group. Killing Yesha shouldn’t have posed an issue.” Li Xian said.

”So what should we do?” Princess Chen asked.

”Hehe, we can excavate Bodhi Ancestor’s remains.” The monarch winked at them.

”You’re joking, right? If you want to die, don’t drag us down with you too!” Princess Chen nearly jumped from fear.

”And I thought you bunch were brave enough to die in battle, where did this courage go?” The monarch complained.

”Willow and Poplar Venerable are no big deal compared to what you’re suggesting. Life and Death Heaven will cut us down.” The princess said.

”I don’t want to do it either, my ancestors will have my head.” Mu Hu touched his neck and said. After all, Bodhi Ancestor had a good relationship with their founder.

”Yes, Life and Death Heaven doesn’t need to do anything, my master will cut off my head and use it as a token of apology.” Orchidcore said.

”Our seniors will be the first to kill us.” The princess agreed.

”Plus, Bodhi Ancestor is worthy of reverence, it is disrespectful to move his remains.” Li Xian shook his head.

”Bah, a bunch of cowards, to be scared of something so trivial.” The monarch spat on the ground.

”Feel free to do it, we don’t want to be involved.” The princess said.

”It’s fine to take a look since we’re here already.” Li Qiye smiled.

”Haha, the young noble is always right, we should take a look, that can’t hurt.” The monarch arched his chest and declared.

The group exchanged glances and agreed.

”Okay my cowardly juniors, we will find where Bodhi Ancestor is resting.” The monarch led the way.

”Let me tell you something, there is really a ghost.” The princess commented along the way.

”What ghost?” The monarch stared at her.

”The Li’s progenitor, Li Xuansu, came out of that ancestral tomb.” The princess smiled.

”She caused all that trouble?” The monarch said.

”Not necessarily...” Li Xian interjected feebly.

”We believe so.” The young geniuses have been thinking about it.

”Well, our progenitor is still alive.” Li Xian said.

”You’re right.” Monk Zhu said.

”It’s because she is inflicted with malice, the malice is the thing causing trouble so she’s expelling it using the foundation of her clan.” Li Qiye said.

”Really?” The group was surprised to hear this.

”We still have a foundation?” Li Xian had no idea.

Li Qiye only smiled and didn’t elaborate.
