Emperor’s Domination

”An item granting everlasting life?” Li Xian became startled.

The existence of everlasting life was heavily debated since it was the ultimate goal of cultivation. Most couldn’t get close so they viewed it as a legend only.

”I don’t know, it’s far above our station.” Princess Chen shook her head.

The others glanced at the sky and knew she was right.

”The title of the lord is due to her control over life and death. This also implies everlasting life.” Monk Zhu placed his palms together and said.

”Life and death, does this imply a reincarnation cycle?” Orchidcore mused.

”I am unsure. Our Buddhism believes in the cycles but we do not know if Lord of Life and Death can do the same thing.” Monk Zhu said.

”Your Buddhist reincarnation cycle is the same as a beef butcher selling dog meat.” Black Witch Monarch laughed and said: ”It’s not a living person, only Buddhist affinity. The reincarnated version is nothing more than a puppet. Buddhism cannot produce an actual reincarnation.”

”Amitabha.” Monk Zhu only calmed his mind and no longer retorted. He had seen the man’s witchcraft and understood he was a true master.

”Benefactor, your lack of belief does not undo its existence.” He added.

”Hahaha, Buddhists cannot fathom the reincarnation cycle but to be fair, this applies to all living beings.” The monarch said.

”Lord of Life and Death is beyond this, she is a supreme being with few equals in Three Immortals. If she has a mythical heavenly treasure, she might have control over it.” Princess Chen said.

”I agree. She is innately supreme, a unique existence, and other factors make supreme overlords obey her. Even Desolate Ancestor protected her at all cost.” Orchidcore nodded.

”So there is a high chance of her possessing the reincarnation cycle.” Li Xian murmured.

”All of you got one thing right, the rest are nonsense.” The monarch laughed before glancing at Li Qiye who didn’t participate in the conversation.

”Which one is right?” Monk Zhu asked.

The monarch saw Li Qiye’s non-interference and said: ”Lord of Life and Death is a unique existence indeed, the rest are nonsense.”

”Doesn’t it make sense? Since she has power over life and death, others wish to follow her in hope of being granted longevity.” Li Xian said.

”Let’s pretend that it is available and she has access to it, she is not allowed to use it.” The monarch said.

”She is powerful, not to mention Supreme Black Ancestor and Desolate Ancestor by her side, who can interfere with her decisions?” Princess Chen said.

The monarch laughed and didn’t respond.

”So why is she a unique existence?” The silly Mu Hu asked the right question.

Others thought about it and found her to have the support of numerous mighty cultivators. This made it possible for her to start Life and Death Heaven to oppose Moshi.

Although she never actively fought in the three immortal wars and six heavenly battles, she certainly made decisions behind the scene.

”Right, why is she the pivotal figure and not Desolate Ancestor?” Princess Chen said.

They had never thought about this question before since this was beyond their station.

Supreme Heaven’s hierarchy was clear, starting with Moshi, Dingtian, and Poye. Next were Weizhen, Xian Chengtian, and Primal Yin Immortal Ghost.

On the other side, Desolate Ancestor was the only immortal - the only being who could fight Zhan Sansheng. Thus, why was she not the leader of the faction?

”What makes Lord of Life and Death special?” Orchidcore couldn’t help but ask.

”Hahaha, how do I know? How do I know?” The monarch thought he was being too gossipy while stealing glances at Li Qiye.

”Fine, don’t tell us then.” Princess Chen said begrudgingly.

”Are there any other immortal weapons?” Li Xian asked after a brief lull in the conversation.

The others couldn’t come up with any.

”Mountaincutter and Idyllic Flute.” Mu Hu who has been snacking spoke.

”You’re right!” Princess Chen recalled hearing these names from her senior: ”How do you know about them?”

”You told me, these are weapons of the three immortals.” Mu Hu laughed.

”I told you?” Princess Chen didn’t remember and looked around. Orchidcore and the monk shrugged.

”They are missing now.” Orchidcore said.

”Yes, never heard anything about their location.” Monk Zhu said.

”It’s not like we can find them, just hearing stories is good enough.” Li Xian said.

”Don’t be so sure, maybe one is hiding right here.” The monarch laughed.

”No-no way!” Li Xian waved his hands repeatedly.
