Emperor’s Domination

The lack of successful ”return” made the other paths seem hopeless for the inhabitants of Three Immortals.

Of course, most could never become desolate gods, let alone heaven-slayers. The return path was even more unreachable. Nevertheless, they still desired to know the equivalent to the end of the imperial path.

Despite the hopeful anticipation, none had done so just yet.

”Maybe Desolate Ancestor knows what to do.” Coldblade remarked.

”Perhaps.” The others couldn’t refute.

”She started the desolate god path, not to mention her cultivation. She must have a deeper understanding of this path more than anyone.” Princess Chen said.

Attention returned to Mu Hu.

”What are you looking at me for? I never met our great ancestor.” Mu Hu said.

This wasn’t uncommon because Desolate Ancestor was rumored to be in Heaven World, not Desolate Frontier.

”Senior North Kun God is still there. My ancestors said his path is reflective of Desolate Ancestor’s analysis.” Coldblade said.

”North Kun God.” The group became emotional.

”A direct disciple of Desolate Ancestor.” Monk Zhu said.

”The only one.” The princess added: ”Fairy Companions don’t count since they only received pointers.”

”North Kun God was accepted after Desolate Ancestor’s immortal ascension, a testament to such incredible talent.” Orchidcore said.

”Comparable to Senior Everlasting Jiang. I also know that North Kun God is on the return path.” Coldblade said.

”Senior, you have a strong information network.” Mu Hu scratched his head: ”Few are aware of this.”

”It’s because our ancestor is doing the same thing, so we’re paying special attention to Desolate Ancestor’s main branch.” Coldblade had no intention to hide.

The group agreed that this wasn’t surprising at all.

God Frontier was built with the everlasting and desolate god path as the main branch. The majority of its disciples chose it as a result.

Since Far-dao couldn’t break through, he couldn’t help turning his sight toward Fairy Companions and North Kun God, hoping to find inspiration.

”North Kun God is a peerless genius indeed, catching up to everyone despite starting far later.” Orchidcore said.

”We don’t know much, only that there is a considerable distance between him and Senior Jiang.” Mu Hu shook his head.

”I’m sure the rumor will be proven soon enough, Senior Jiang will also break through and become something no inferior than a supreme overlord.” Coldblade said with admiration.

”Also? Are you saying Senior Far-dao will do it as well?” Princess Chen caught the important piece.

Coldblade gazed into the horizon and said: ”The ancestor has undergone isolated cultivation several times already long ago, just missing that one last step.”

”Just one last step before the overlord stage.” Orchidcore became emotional: ”The culmination of a new path.”

”What should it be named?” Li Xian became curious.

A primal ancestor became a supreme overlord, so what about a heaven-slayer or a far-dao?

”This one last step is so difficult.” Coldblade shook her head and didn’t mind commenting honestly on her ancestor.

”If Senior Far-dao can’t do so, no one else has a chance.” Orchidcore murmured.

”Is it not doable? We’re back on just the imperial path.” Princess Chen added.

”All paths are possible.” Li Qiye who has been gazing at the ocean finally spoke.

Coldblade stared at him and asked: ”What is your opinion on this?”

”The dao’s purpose is to seek everlasting life.” Li Qiye said.

”Yes.” Coldblade agreed: ”Everlasting life...”

Something flashed in her mind as she pondered.

”As long as there is a path toward everlasting life, break through is inevitable.” Li Qiye said.

”There is eternity in the primal anima, so how would a heaven-slayer do the same conversion? The sacred source...” She murmured.

”Your comprehension is strong so your future is bright, already possessing the acuity of an emperor. Getting closer, the sacred source is a fuel for life and that is the path to everlastingness.” Li Qiye said.

”Everlastingness.” She repeated in a daze.
