Emperor’s Domination

This level of worldly essence was unprecedented for the group.

Sacred Mountain and Lankavatara Temples were ancient lineages possessing superb foundations and resources. Alas, this exceeded both by a long shot.

Mu Hu who came from Desolate Frontier - a place created by Desolate Frontier - had never experienced so much worldly essences either.

The scenes around them changed dramatically. Trees in the valley transformed after having reached the dao, becoming sky-blotting entities.

They emitted green lights after turning into tree demons. They looked around, confused due to their new state of being.

The animals and birds were also affected. The hawks grew hundreds of times larger, the same for the serpents. They turned into demons with an inner core...

Most fell to the ground, unable to digest these changes since they didn’t come from cultivation.

The thick energy continued to ooze out of the warp portal, changing the terrains of the outer region entirely. The barren lands turned into verdant forests full of life.

”What is going on?” The young ones have never seen a growth like this before.

”A world source.” Li Qiye said.

”World source?” Li Xian repeated in a daze.

”Come.” Li Qiye’s brows furrowed as he entered the warp portal created by Xuansu.

”It’s dangerous!” Li Xian shouted but Li Qiye had disappeared into the warp.

”What should we do?” He asked the others.

”What else, let’s go take a look.” Princess Chen followed Li Qiye and the rest did the same.

”This worldly essence!” Many cultivators including primal ancestors noticed the influx.

”How can this be?” A primal ancestor woke up from his slumber, perplexed.

”It’s magnificent, cultivation will be so easy.” Big shots rushed toward the outer region of Old Ruin.

”I thought this place was shattered, where is this energy coming from?” One of them scanned the area.

”There must be a source then, let’s find it.” Many became motivated.

”A world source? No, must be a grand vein or something. I thought they were all taken down after the wars.” An emperor said.

”Not quite, Old Ruin had many dao lineages in the past, there might be some veins left.” A primal ancestor said.

”Something strange is definitely happening.” The emperor said.

Meanwhile, Li Qiye walked on a narrow and long dao path. It didn’t exist at first until the influx of worldly essence.

Flowers and grasses began growing on the path. He looked around and saw empty space with broken continents. The same rejuvenation occurred here as well.

A broken mountain came together to form its initial outline before being covered in foliage once more. Another still looked incomplete but a massive tree grew in the missing spot. Continents became covered in tall plants and grasses while floating in space.

This place had recovered slowly since the wars but with the influx of energy, the growth was visible.

Nevertheless, dangerous storms were seen over yonder. They didn’t affect the healing process.

”It’s magnificent.” Li Xian murmured.

”Worldly essences, you can think of them as the power of heaven and earth. It can re-create worlds or be used for cultivation.” Li Qiye said.
