I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2155: 25.45 Lone Black Star - Effects of the Concoction

The Marrow Cleansing Concoction was made by Ye Caoyun on the spot before his parents and the doctor in the mansion. They all watched the process and it was done the whole time. From processing the herbs properly, the steps of which herb should be placed first, which was next and finally how to mix these herbs evenly and properly. Even an ordinary person can actually do it which amazed the duke, duchess and the doctors in the mansion. This is especially true when they watch the mixed herbs glow into a certain shade which signifies that the concoction was made correctly.

Ye Caoyun had actually made enough for the whole family and everyone in the mansion including the guards and servants in the mansion. There were actually some extras as well. Since this is the second time he is making it, it was a lot faster than the first time. After the concoction was made, it was sealed in a potion bottle.

He passed these bottles to his father and dad while saying, ”There we go. Sealed and now it can be stored for at least a month as long as it was sealed properly. Father, Dad, how about using it now?”

”It is better to use it while at home, after all, the cleansing doesn’t actually smell good,” Ye Caoyun added.

The duke and the duchess agreed to their son’s words and planned to use the concoction. Of course, before using it he had taught them the breathing technique which was taught at the school by the new teacher and also the right flow of energy in one’s body. Incorrect flow of energy can destroy one’s body after all. After learning everything from Ye Caoyun, Lord Ye Jie and Lord Consort Mo Jing finally used the concoction.

The cleansing lasted as long as Ye Caoyun’s turn. After all, the duke and the duchess were elders and the impurities in their bodies is definitely much more than a young man like Ye Caoyun. After a few hours, a commotion took place in the bathroom. Ye Caoyun can heard the sound of gagging from the inside and realized that his parent must had almost vomited from smelling the impurities expelled in their bodies.

After another round of showering and scrubbing, the couple had finally come out of the bathroom. The complexion of the duke and the duchess are a lot better than before. Some of their wrinkles had faded as well. What made them happier is the change in Mo Jing’s body. Mo Jing had always been weak ever since he was a child then he had gotten injured while protecting his husband in the frontlines before causing him to no longer have the chance to have a child on his own. Now all their hidden injuries were healed and it also greatly improved their physique.

As Ye Caoyun expected, there aren’t many changes in the physique level a sentinel was born with unless they have a special physique awakening. Unfortunately, the duke didn’t awaken any special physique but it greatly strengthened his body instead. He is already an SS-grade Sentinel with S-grade physique. He also had lots of hidden injuries in his body which would leave some ailments like phantom pain, and such. But after using that concoction and waking up like a man who fell in a sewer his whole body felt like it was refreshed and renewed. All of the injuries in his body are gone including the scars he got from fighting in the battlefield.

On the other hand, the changes in the duchess were better than in the duke. His original A-grade physique had been promoted to S-grade. Moreover, the duchess had become even more beautiful than before. His fair skin was glowing and his whole aura had brightened a lot. The accumulation of stress over his work was gone with just one bath.

After the couple had finished their check up, a proof that proved the effectiveness of the concoction had been gathered. The Duke, Lord Ye Jie, planned to save three for his brother’s family in the imperial palace. The results of the concoction effects were being studied by the duchess and the doctors in the laboratory which caused the duke and Ye Caoyun ended up getting kicked out to avoid crowding in the laboratory.

The father and son looked at each other and then at the closed laboratory door which just threw the two of them.

Ye Caoyun said, ”Ah, right father. I have met my master and told him what you have asked me before.”

”Let’s go talk to my office,” said Lord Ye Jie.

The two move to the duke’s office to talk about the cultivation technique that helps increase the stability of one’s soul, aura and energy. However, this is a technique that can only be passed down by the duke family and the others who learned it would not be able to pass it down which is a bit inconvenient. Ye Caoyun placed the fifth jade token on his father’s table which left the duke dumbfounded for a moment.

The Duke, Lord Ye Ji asked, ”Yun’er, what are these jade tokens from?”

”It’s from the master. He told me since you cannot allow those you had taught about the technique, this will do it for you. It can only be used a hundred times each and to read it you need to use mental energy to probe the jade. After a hundred times the jade would be useless as it would turn to ashes.” Ye Caoyun said, ”Right now, I can only make 50 every two weeks, father.”

”You can use this to teach that soul stabilizing technique to your soldiers,” the young master added.

The duke was delighted when he heard about his son’s explanation and tried probing one of the jade tokens. The very same contents of cultivation technique once again flows in his mind but because he had learned it before, the things that entered his body are useless.

Ye Caoyun added, ”There is something else father. The master said before teaching the people about this technique they swear to the heavens that they will not betray you and our family before teaching them this. As for the problem of spreading it, it would be the same as before except for father, dad and I, no one else is allowed to share this cultivation technique to others.”

”Okay, I understand. I will be strict when it comes to this vow. Don’t worry, son. Thank you for this. With this technique, it can save more of our soldiers,” said the duke.

”Ah right. There is something I need to inform you about. It’s about your two new teachers, Lord Ye Xiajie and Lord Mo Anjing, being extremely respectful to them alright,” said the duke.

Confused. Ye Caoyun asked, ”Why is that, father?”

”This is because they are the ancestors of the royal family and the Mo Clan.” Duke Ye Jie said as he showed some photos and videos taken in the forbidden area of the royal library and shared it to his beloved son.

Even though this is a secret that should be only known to those from the royal family, and Ye Caoyun didn’t even have an ounce of this royal blood, for the duke this son of his is no different from a biological one. His elder brother had already given him permission to share the secrets to Ye Caoyun.

That’s why when Ye Caoyun came out of his father’s office, he was stunned that he was dazed the whole time even after he reached his room and calmed down.

”Not aging? Immortals? What immortals? They only became gods and returned back to this world for a reason. It’s not possible that they come here looking for me right? I have definitely not broken any divine laws,” said Ye Caoyun.

—

The classes taught by Teacher Mo Anjing and Teacher Ye Xiajie had become the hottest in the Imperial Royal Academy. This is especially true when it comes to the techniques and their way of training; everything had been recorded by someone in the school and in the palace. The former was to record it and share it to the other classes of course they were given permission from the two new teachers themselves. As for the second one, it’s for a historical recording, after all, now everyone in the real royal family knows that Teacher Mo Anjing and Teacher Ye Xiajie are their ancestors, the real kind.

The God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness didn’t mind teaching things to the aborigines of this world. They needed them to get powerful before the fool who they were trying to bait out showed itself before them. Of course, there is no way an ancient god will appear here and there alone, it wouldn’t have come to such a world without a task that must be done.

Ye Xiajie and Hei Anjing didn’t have any intention of getting exposed right away. After all, if that ancient god learned about their existence it would have run away in an instant. After all, in all of the ancient gods’ eyes right now the God of Destruction and his partner, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, are enemies they wouldn’t be able to kill even if there are a hundred and thousands of them. Moreover, their monarch then kidnapped the God of Destruction’s parents, the Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan and the World Eater, Lord An Shizhe. They will definitely be dead if that overpowered, overprotecting, tyrant learned that it was their betrayal that caused his parents to be captured.
