I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2129: 25.19 Lone Black Star - Checking through worlds (10)

The guards at the capital’s gate had checked the two IDs the God of Destruction had passed to them. Upon checking in the database system, they had found out that the couple was indeed a couple named Ye Xiajie and Mo Anjing. They were stunned when they saw the two family names that the couple possessed. They had a short family background. This is to check whether the couple had some criminal records and only sight when they found nothing.

The reason they were this nervous is because of the aura Ye Xiajie possessed. How he had suppressed them just by looking at them and how dangerous he feels as? After all, they all instinctively felt fear when the couple approached and met the eyes of the sentinel. However, for some reason, the captain felt that the smaller build guys didn’t seem to be simple as well. He actually felt that this guide is harder to confront than the sentinel which greatly confused him.

After all, the latter is a guide who isn’t supposed to be able to fight and is born with a weaker body compared to the sentinel. It can be said that some guides have weaker bodies than ordinary people. Their advantage is stronger mental energy which is transformed to treat and heal a sentinel. Likewise, they would never be able to overpower a sentinel. But towards this young guide, he had a feeling of fear of death he couldn’t explain.

The captain of the guards returned the IDs to the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

He said, ”There are no problems with your identification. However, I still need to ask a few questions as you are newcomers.”

The God of Destruction said, ”Please go ahead and ask~.”

Hei Anjing smiled and nodded his head as if he was just an innocent yet playful young guide. The young guards beside the captain blushed as they felt that this young guide was truly too beautiful. They suddenly felt cold and noticed an icy stare. When they lifted their heads they met those cold ruby eyes sharply staring at them with a warning. They knew that some sentinels are possessive by nature but this is rare. They felt unlucky to meet one today.

When the captain glanced at them coldly the other guards averted their eyes and no longer looked at Hei Anjing who chuckled at their reaction only to feel the arm wrapped around his waist tighten. When he raised his head, he met his lover’s beautiful yet hot eyes.

The God of Destruction’s thought upon seeing his lover’s eyes, ’Crap! I think I’m dead tonight.’

The captain of the guard started asking questions, ”What is your purpose in the city?”

”Look for a job, a place to stay and a place to eat?” Hei Anjing answered.

The second question was asked, ”Are you family names legit?”

”This has been our name since we were born,” Ye Xiajie answered. The seriousness in his tone and how his face looks show how truthful this response is.

The captain of the guards turned serious after all these family names became very famous in the capital. One of the imperial family and the other is a fallen noble house who is said to bore special guides who are not only good at healing but also in fighting. Even the gentle looking duchess of the Ye Clan had an official position in the military.

The captain of the guard asked, ”Last question: Did you kill before?”

The area in the surrounding area, especially the guards, were dumbfounded when this question was asked. They didn’t expect that their captain would ask something scary. Moreover, he didn’t specify which was killed, instead just asking if they were killed. It had a wide range of answers and meanings.

Usually, people would hesitate to answer this question but the couple in front of them only look at one another once. The taller one only nodded while the younger man smiled mischievously.

The God of Destruction answers, ”Of course! A lot of enemies~.”

The guards at the gates including the captain instinctively shiver that some of them had almost pulled out their weapons but froze when Ye Xiajie, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness glanced at them. They’ve stiffen on the spot. Once again the suffocating feeling of a predator looking at them returns. Sensing this the captain of the guard bowed his head respectfully towards the young couple and even saluted.

”Thank you for giving us some time. Welcome to the Capital City!”

The guards behind him were stunned while Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie remained calm. That domineering aura faded like smoke once again.

The God of Destruction said, ”Thank you. Can I ask for some recommendations for food and a place where we can rent and look for jobs?”

The captain of the guards raised his head and started pointing directions.

”At the east area’s market place, there is a gourmet restaurant. If you are not lacking in credits you can check it. There is a famous dish Buddha jumps over the wall. If you don’t have a budget, they are a local hotpot near the Imperial Royal academy at the westyard.”

”For housing, it’s hard to buy one in the center region as it needs a noble title. If it’s an ordinary mansion, the middle region has some for sale, a bit expensive though. There are also some hotels and inns in the capital. As for job hiring, I heard the Imperial Royal Academy is hiring teachers. As long as you have qualifications you can try.”

After honestly answering the question of the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing stretched out a hand for a handshake.

”Thank you!” Hei Anjing said.

The captain of guard grabbed the hand of Hei Anjing intending to shake when suddenly he felt a familiar healing power that only a guide can use. It entered his body and his internal injuries felt a bit refreshing with lesser pain. When their hands were pried by the scary sentinel, the healing energy was gone yet he felt extremely comfortable. There is also a feeling that his mental pollution has lessened a lot.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, Ye Xiajie said, ”That’s enough. Let’s go eat.”

Hei Anjing was carried by his lover as they entered the gates. He was even waving his hands at these silly guards which is very fun to tease.

”See you later~.”

After the young couple had disappeared from the distance, the guards couldn’t help but ask their captain what happened to him. However, the captain didn’t answer and once again turned stern.

He turned around and glared at his subordinate and exclaimed, ”Go back to work! I’m going back. Call me immediately anytime some guests like this appear.”

”Yes, captain!”

On the other hand, as soon as the captain returned to his office, he removed his clothes and entered a medical chamber for a check up. When he saw the result he was dumbfounded. His mental pollution which is on the verge of danger zone has decreased at least five percent of the original. Though it didn’t seem much but for a one time healing from a guide this is already amazing, the usual percentage for healing effect among the powerful guide is only 1.5 percent per session and it is as expensive as hell.

Then suddenly a guide from the outside performed something with a heavenly defying result from one time and a short healing session left him dumbfounded. He immediately reported this discovery to his superior which was eventually reported to the duke.

Meanwhile, back to the Imperial Royal Academy...

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya and the Duchess of Ye Clan, Mo Jing were having a conversation when suddenly they felt a powerful surge of mental energy coming from the clinic. They were both surprised as it was too powerful and this aura alone was too refreshing and soothing. Under this aura, Ye Qinya felt a bit sleepy out of nowhere.

Mo Jing exclaimed, ”This is healing aura! A top grade at that.” He immediately ran towards the source and found that it was coming from the bed where his son was sleeping.

As he pulled open the partition curtain around the bed, he saw his son, Ye Caoyun suddenly covered with thin tree branches with small golden leaves. What made it shocking was that this tree branch seems to have grabbed the snow leopard cub that was just sleeping beside its master and is now gripping it, pouring healing energy excess from its master’s awakening. Seeing the relaxed expression of the leopard cub, Mo Jing knew this was a good thing. However, healing requires compatibility. As long as a pair had a great compatibility the healing would be more effective.

Ye Qinya was frowning as he felt his heartbeat was about to go out of control just by feeling the healing aura that seemed to enter his body. Mo Jing noticed this and said,

”Don’t fight it. This is healing energy. Try to let it heal you. Yun’er is awakening as a guide and his quantum beast is moving around to send away excess healing energy. Try if it can heal you or at least treat your mental pollution.” Duchess Ye said.
