I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2113: 25.03 Lone Black Star - How to kill an Ancient God?

Shen Siwang asking what a cosmic ruler left the group split into two groups: one turned silent as they were thinking how to explain it and the other were confused as this is also their first time hearing it. The first group is composed of the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, they know the answer but are thinking how to explain it in a way for them to understand its meaning. The others do not understand what kind of being this cosmic ruler is.

The God of Destruction smiled and said, ”How about we changed our location?”

With a wave of his hand, the space shifted and their group was instantly teleported to where they could take a seat and have some tea. They were directly brought back to the Nether Castle’s living room. After seeing them together, Hei Anjing took a sip of his fruit tea and finally opened his mouth to speak.

The God of Destruction said, ”How should I begin the explanation? First let me introduce myself properly. I am one of the Guardians that protects our cosmos in which all universes and stars under the control of Vearth exist. Our cosmos is called the Diamond Cosmos. Of course, there is more than cosmos out there.”

”There is no Cosmos Ruler in our cosmos as the cosmos chose to have a guardian and it will choose to coexist instead of control. Those who stood at the peak of a cosmos are called Cosmos Rulers. They are stronger than all Sovereign God combines and have full control over the cosmos, in short they either killed the will of their cosmos or surrendered to it.”

He pointed at the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness who was hugging him while seated beside him and said, ”Well, he used to be one of the other guardians of our cosmos and the Cosmos Ruler of another which is called Obsidian Cosmos. They ended up killing one another and ended up being reincarnated as one person.”

Everyone seems surprised to learn that the couple before them doesn’t seem to have normal identities. Hei Anjing can still be understood, everyone knows that he had gone to the beyond to protect them though this is the first time learning that it was about the whole cosmos itself and not just Vearth.

The Sovereign God of Life and Death, Mo Baojun, seems to have thought of something and spoke to ask.

He said, ”If he had his own cosmos, is he your enemy?” his cold eyes falling on Ye Xiajie’s figure as if once he heard the answer was yes, he would make a move right this instant.

Others beside them were so nervous while Shen Siwang was watching the scene with calmness. He believes that his brother who had suffered enough and finally had his own family would never become their enemy. On the other hand, while the rest are feeling nervous, Ye Xiajie just sighed helplessly.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness lightly pinched his wife’s nose and said with a pampering tone, ”Truly you~ still love to play others as usual. What should I do with you?”

The God of Destruction, on the other hand, showed a tongue towards his husband while winking. He is being playful as always.

”The atmosphere had become too serious, it was good to lift everyone’s mood with a joke~” said Hei Anjing.

Sensing the tension fading in the room, everyone sighs a relief in their hearts, especially Lord God An Liang and his husband, Hei Jue.

Lord God An Liang said, ”This scares me to death. Xiao Ye becoming an enemy is simply too scary to imagine.”

”The scene of you two clashing is simply a hell even in just an imagination. This joke is simply too realistically possible that it’s scary,” commented the God of Space, Hei Jue..

Ye Xiajie who was feeding his wife his recently peeled grapes looked at his friend and said, ”Even though I wasn’t the enemy, it didn’t mean the real one isn’t a cosmos ruler. Even a Sovereign is incapable of taking away an Ancient God of Lord Hunluan and my master’s caliber.”

”You are saying another cosmos ruler had taken them away but why?” The Sovereign God of Creation and Light, Shen Siwang, asked.

Unexpectedly, it was his wife, the Sovereign God of Life and Death who had responded to him.

Mo Baojun said, ”There is more than one cosmos. Since there are already two here, a third and a fourth out there can also exist.”

No one denies this possibility and the atmosphere in this area has once again turned so serious. It’s like seeing more than one monstrous existence like the God of Destruction coming to attack them. Just imagining it is so terrifying, this is something no one aside from Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie can do something about.

The God of Destruction noticed their thoughts and said, ”Don’t worry. I won’t allow you to feel helpless against these Beyonders. Uncles, please eat this Cosmos Stone. It would allow you to adapt to this energy. Once you adapt I will bring you to the cosmos battlefield.”

”Xiao Jing, how about us?” Lord God An Liang asked as he pointed at himself and his wife, Hei Jue.

The Sovereign God of Void and Destruction said, ”Only Sovereign Gods can barely exist in the beyond. If you want to fight in the Cosmos Battlefield then become a sovereign first. Govern and rule one attribute once you see its peak you would naturally become a Sovereign. Work hard.”

”But I thought Sovereigns were naturally born from the chaos itself?” Hei Jue, the God of Space asked.

Hei Anjing smiled, ”Which is why you both first learned what Chaos is.” He placed a small portal key in the back of their hands and said, ”Once you are ready, try to face the chaos on your own. If your life is in danger this portal key will bring you back. It would also allow you to step inside. Please don’t overdo it. If possible as someone from the Mo Clan to accompany you if you are unsure of yourself. If it’s the Mo Family born from Chaos itself, they would be able to guide you well.”

”Xiao Jing’er, you already know where the ancient gods are, don’t you?” The Sovereign God of Life and Death, Mo Baojun asked.

The God of Destruction smiled and said, ”The place was practically shown to me through my skill. Our opponent this time is a beyonder who can control timelines and change vessels as he wishes to. Everything that had happened in our past were all caused by this being.”

”Everything?! You mean including Xiao Ye’s death and everyone else?! Doesn’t that mean that this being existed even in the Primordial Era?!” The Lord God of the Nether System exclaimed in disbelief. Just what kind of monster is their enemy.

Hei Jue frowned, ”Jumping through timelines and eras. This is a higher law of time elements.”

”Should we ask Qinjing for help? He is the current God of Time after...”

Lord God An Liang’s words were cut off but he abrupt and cold voice of the God of Destruction and said,

”No! None of my children shall get involved in this! They are simply too young and too weak!”

”S-Sorry... I said the wrong thing!” Lord God An Liang immediately apologized. He had forgotten that the lowest minimum realm to enter the Cosmos Battlefield is the Sovereign Realm and Ye Qinjing is only a young god who got his title.

The overprotective nature of the Mo Clan would always come out at times like this. Thankfully, there is his other half, Ye Xiajie calming him down.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness said, ”It’s alright. The children will never be involved. Don’t scare Silly An. Don’t you already know how loose his tongue is.”

Sigh~

”Sorry. I over-reacted,” said the God of Destruction as he apologized to Lord God An Liang.

The God of Space, Hei Jue said, ”It’s not your fault, Xiao Jing’er. It’s my man’s fault for not holding back his tongue properly.”

The tension in the room brought but the abrupt coldness of the God of Destruction’s words. However, these words of apologies were from his heart as well which instantly calmed the atmosphere in the area making the Lord God not feeling too much offended. Just the fact that this man is his best friend’s beloved, and his superior, he had no heart to get angry with something he had caused himself.

Hei Jue asked, ”But since you already know where they are, don’t tell me you are going there on your own? You can’t!”

”But the opponent this time might be ancient gods, you can’t defeat them yet,” said Hei Anjing.

Upon hearing this, Hei Jue and An Liang turned silent. Actually, even a Sovereign can hardly defeat an Ancient God. These are two immortal gods. Unless you thoroughly destroy not only their vessel but also their soul, a wisp of soul would be able to bring them back to life. Why else would the supposed deceased Ancient God of Chaos and the World Eater come back to life when they were supposed to have perished in that distant and forgotten past.

The Sovereign God of Life and Death suddenly asked, ”How do one kill an ancient god?”

”Devour their everything until nothing is left,” the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness answered.
