I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2154: 25.44 Lone Black Star - Marrow Cleansing Concoction

Ye Caoyun, unknown to the facts that is happening in the Imperial Royal Academy was now at home and had finished the concoction for Marrow Cleansing Physique and was about to take his bath. He had changed into a thin robe before climbing in the tub. He leaned into the tub and closed his eyes, running his mental energy all over his whole body in circulation to spread the effect of the concoction in his whole body. This concoction is cooling at first until its effects start and forcibly purifies the impurities in one’s body. The whole process is so painful that Ye Caoyun’s face turns pale as he grits his teeth in the process while trying to hold back a single sound coming out of his mouth.

This actually wasn’t the first time he had suffered from this kind of cleansing. He had done it in his first life and at that time, the pain was even more as he was only an ordinary mortal before. In this world at least, he possesses mental energy to spread and ease the pain. So he bears it with everything he can as he maximizes the whole effect of the concoction he is using. In just a whole hour, the white thin bath robe he is wearing had turned black with a disgusting scent that can make anyone nauseous. However upon seeing this result Ye Caoyun was delighted as this meant that his body tempering had officially begun. He had removed the white bath robe that had almost turned into black and the transparent water in the tub that had completely lost its medicinal effect.

After cleaning up the tub and disposing of the bathrobe, Ye Caoyun went to take a bath and take a shower next door. Compared to his thin and soft body from before his whole body had undergone changes. Firm muscles had appeared all over his body and three pairs of abs on his stomach were shapely exposed in the air while taking a shower. If others can see it, they would have never mistaken his body for a guide’s body. This is the body of a well endowed sentinel.

It was already evening when Ye Caoyun had come down to his room to eat dinner. When he had gone to the living room, he saw his parents, Ye Jie and Mo Jing, waiting for him.

”Father, Dad! You are home!” Ye Caoyun cheerfully said.

The duke and duchess turn their heads to greet their son, Ye Caoyun, only to be surprised by the changes of his outside appearance. A cleaner and more sharper look compared to how they remember. Strong presence, yet gentle and soft like that of an elegant guide with royal standing. There is also an obvious hidden strength in that slender figure which only trained individuals can notice.

Duchess Mo Jing approached his son and pulled him over to the couch to sit with him. The moment his hand touched the arms of his son, he realized that Ye Caoyun’s arm is now full of firm muscles with strength in it. Not the usual soft and slender feeling which shows fragility of a guide’s body.

”Sweetie, did you do something this afternoon? Your body index seems to have changed a lot,” Mo Jing asked worriedly to his son.

The duke, Ye Jie, also looked over worriedly and said, ”Are you feeling unwell? Should I summon a doctor?”

Ye Caoyun realized that he couldn’t actually hide anything from his parents and he had no intention of hiding it at all. He pulled the prepared note for the Marrow Cleansing Concoction he had used with the list of herbs and the whole process of body cleansing was explained on it. He gave it to his parents without hesitation.

He said, ”Master had given me this. He said it’s a bathing concoction for clearing impurities in one’s body. Of course, this is for the physical body, not the mental one. I had already tried it myself. Though the process of cleansing is a bit painful, it was actually effective. My original D-grade Physique should have changed.”

Upon hearing this, the duchess took the written report his son placed on the table and checked it himself. The more he read the details the more amazed his expression showed. According to the steps and the effects of each herb in the body, this detailed report is most likely true. The duke who was waiting for his wife to explain was watching the changes on his partner’s expression and realized that this concoction must be a real one.

Ye Caoyun added, ”According to the Master, this concoction is only useful and its effects vary among people. After all, impurities in one’s body are also different from one another. Once the impurities in the body are removed it would greatly increase one’s physique and with proper training it can further be improved. It might also clear some poison in one’s body. But it is more effective when using the breathing technique Teacher Mo Anjing had taught in the academy. I had also written about how that breathing technique is used.”

”Breathing Technique, the Ances... Your teacher had taught you in class. Is it alright for you to spread it to other people?” Duke Ye Jie asked with a worried frown.

Ye Caoyun smiled and said, ”Father, don’t worry. Teacher Mo Anjing said he doesn’t care if this breathing technique was spread to the crowd. He said it’s better to spread it so it would lessen one going out of control and also help the guides learn how to control their mental energy better. He will not get angry even if I teach the family about it.”

Only when the duke and duchess heard that did they sighed in relief. After all, they knew that this Teacher Mo Anjing in their son’s mouth was the First Empress of the Empire, the very first guide who had fought in the frontlines with the First Emperor according to the recorded history of their empire.

The duchess, Mo Jing, suddenly held his son’s hand with a worried look and suddenly said, ”Yun’er, come with dad. Let me check your whole body again. I want to check the result of your body and if there are any aftereffects you don’t know about.”

”Okay, Dad!” Ye Caoyun said.

The family of three went to the medical room in the mansion. Ye Caoyun entered the medical pod while his whole body was undergoing check up for the second time. The process didn’t take long before the duchess was satisfied and checked every part of his son’s body for ailments. He was so worried in the process that he had done it himself and not let the doctors of the house to assist him. After everything was done, the duchess helped his son and waited together with the family for the results. Since the whole process was done by the duchess, the process was prepared by the doctors of the house instead.

Seeing the nervousness of Mo Jing, Ye Caoyun comforted him. ”Dad, I feel alright and there is no pain anyway. I am definitely alright.”

”Wife, relax. Looking at Yun’er, his state seems to be better than before. Everything should be alright,” the duke said.

Then the doctors of the house approached them with shocked expressions as if they had discovered another planet in the universe. Utterly in disbelief and it made the whole family nervous.

With a frown finally appearing on the duke’s face, he asked, ”Wait is the result. Don’t make the duchess nervous! Tell us!”

”Duke, the result is simply unbelievable. The young master’s original D-grade Physique had suddenly been upgraded to A+-grade which is incomprehensible.”

”This is a medical miracle!”

”Three grade upgrade! How is this possible!?”

”Moreover, all indicators are all normal! Young master Caoyun is much healthier now than before.”

”He is much stronger than any sentinels in A-grade or below.”

”With such a small gap between his mental energy grade and his physical body, the fear from before where his body might explode due to the pressure of his physical body is gone!”

”He is now an S+++++-grade Guide with A+-grade physical strength!”

The doctors were all excitedly talking among themselves as they read the reports in their hands. A copy was given to the duchess who was also reading through the full details of his son’s report. The more he read the more shocking it was. However, the result cannot be falsified. It was a real one which he had done himself. Then he looked at his son, Ye Caoyun, who was smiling at them.

The duke and duchess asked, ”Son, do you think this concoction will also be effective on us?”

”Yes, definitely. I have extra herbs for everyone in the mansion. We can try it all together. But it might not have the same big effects it has on guides. After all, Sentinels were already born with stronger physiques than a Guide.” Ye Caoyun said. ”At most, this concoction will just remove some impurities in a sentinel’s body enhancing their already powerful body.”

”That’s okay. Let’s try it then!” The Duke, Ye Jie, said.
