I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2149: 25.39 Lone Black Star - Execution

The Imperial Palace especially at the Throne hall, the cold floor is now filled with ministers begging for the forgiveness of the Imperial Emperor. Though not all ministers were in the wrong, before the enraged Imperial Emperor no one dared to speak so loudly. However, this is something they had caused. The sudden disappearance of the Emperor, the Empress, the Duke and the Duchess had shaken the authority within the empire. After all, without these four people it would be easier for the Noble Faction to take over. The nobles actually had such thoughts of replacing the emperor with one of them.

Who would have thought that just as they were all about to make a move the Imperial family would suddenly reappear. Moreover, no one knows where they had one too but one thing for sure is that they had appeared within the Imperial Palace despite all of the ministers investigating their disappearance for days. When the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang, overheard their treasonous words, he was instantly enraged and he had almost killed all the ministers inside the throne hall. His SS-grade aura had spread in the whole throne hall, making all ministers fall off their knees upon his arrival.

It was only then did all the ministers realized that their missing emperor had returned and that all their conflict about who would be taking over the throne seemed no different as a joke at this moment. There are those who were terrified as they had said the most. While the main guys from the Noble Clan actually didn’t do anything and just watched the scene before them unfold.

Now with the emperor enraged, the ministers and generals knew that things wouldn’t end so simply his time. The Imperial Emperor himself had heard their words. Not only him, there is also the Imperial Empress, the Duke and his duchess. Trying to fool around with a glib mouth is no longer possible at this moment. The leaders of the noble factions were relieved that they didn’t carelessly move their mouths or they would be like the ones pressed on the ground before the Imperial Emperor waiting for the verdict which will most likely be a death sentence for these people.

”Those spoken words of yours from before had been all heard by this emperor. Traitors that want to take over the throne for themselves! You are all seeking death!” Ye Wang, the Imperial Emperor exclaimed with anger. ”Great General Ye, execute them on the spot!”

”Yes, your majesty!” Responded Duke Ye Jie.

He pulled his sword from his space ring and slowly approached the kneeling ministers who couldn’t move due to the suppression aura from the Imperial Emperor himself. Without hesitation, Ye Jie, had beheaded all five people in the throne hall who had been talking nonsense about taking over the crowd and targeting the crown prince. No one had stopped the Great General from executing the traitors of the empire. The strong scent of blood and the scary sight of the heads rolling on the ground made everyone’s heart beat erratically. Silence had once again spread in the whole throne hall.

However, it seems that the Imperial Emperor didn’t seem to be satisfied and said, ”Great General, I will give you a decree. Uproot the clans where these five fools come from. Effective immediately!”

”Yes, as you will, your majesty!” The Great General and Duke, Lord Ye Jie had accepted the recently written royal decree and left the Imperial Palace to complete his mission.

This time no one dares to defy the words of the emperor. After all, even though not all of the ministers had outspoken their desires like the five fools who are now headless on the ground, just the fact that they had gathered in the Imperial Palace while the Imperial Family was missing was enough proof that they were closely involved with this scandal of wanting to take over the throne for themselves even though the Crown Prince still exist. The other other of these ministers were those who were loyal to the Imperial Family and came over to stop someone who doesn’t know his place from doing something that would take the throne. It was actually because of this minority within this group that no one was able to forcibly take over the throne while the Imperial Family was missing.

The Imperial Emperor punished everyone from the Noble Faction with no salary for a whole year and how they are confined in their own territories and not allowing them to come out unless a year had passed. Though this punishment is simple and didn’t involve taking lives, it didn’t mean it is not without meaning. They had bought some time for the royal family to gather enough people for their side and started training them with the same method Ye Caoyun had given to his father. Even though due to its restrictions that only a small yet full of elite warriors had gathered, it was decided that the first batch of experts like this will protect the royal family first, especially the royal family.

On the same day, the news of five clans’s extermination had spread all over the empire. With the carried decree from the emperor, the duke didn’t waste any more time and just uprooted these clans; they gave birth to those fools who openly said they wanted to take over the throne even in the presence of the Imperial family and the Imperial Emperor himself. When the Crown prince had heard about this clan’s extermination, he had immediately gone to the Imperial Palace to ask his father what was going on.

But when he had gotten to the palace, he was only welcomed by his Imperial Father. His Imperial Mother, the empress had returned to her clan to find that cooking book they needed the most right now while the Duchess had resumed to his original duties of trying to treat those heroes who had not only regressed but also completely transformed.

In the throne hall, upon the arrival of the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, he was welcomed with his haggard looking royal father and some ministers loyal to their family looking the same way. They had been handling the members of the noble factions who had been severely punished and their whole family had accompanied their foolish family leaders to the afterlife.

”Erchen greets Imperial Father!” The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya greeted upon his arrival to the hall.

The emperor and the ministers had noticed him. Upon seeing the crown prince, these ministers knew that they could take a short rest while the emperor and the crown prince were having a conversation and excused themselves from the throne hall.

”Your majesty, we can continue this later. Let the Crown Prince take over for now!”

”That’s right your majesty. This old man had been talking for straight hours and needed to moist his throat.”

”The current situation is stable. We can take our time for now.”

”Alright, you old men! You just want to take a break, don’t you! Alright. Our court meeting is adjourned and the rest can continue for tomorrow.” The Imperial Emperor Ye Wang.

Seeing the relief and smiling faces of these ministers, the imperial emperor couldn’t help but twitch his lips and wave his hand to send these old things back to their home. Once the ministers had left the throne hall, the Imperial Emperor had looked at his son.

Ye Wang, the Imperial Emperor said, ”Alright. Stand up and come closer to me. Qin’er is there something wrong?”

”I had heard you had commanded the Imperial Uncle to exterminate five clans from the Noble Faction, will they not retaliate? What happened, Imperial father?” The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya asked.

The Imperial Emperor told his son about what happened. ”It’s nothing much. Just some fools who failed to rein their ambitions while I am not around. You know that your mother, and your uncles are investigating the young couple who are new teachers in your academy. Their names, even using my authority as the ruler of the empire, actually couldn’t investigate their backgrounds.”

”What?! How is that possible?! The Imperial father is the Emperor of this empire!” The Crown Prince exclaimed.

Ye Qinya immediately realized something. Even his imperial father, the emperor, cannot find any information about Mo Anjing and Ye Xiajie’s background. It can only mean two things. Either they are spies whose life history was destroyed or an existence above the ruler of the empire. Based on his father’s reaction it is most likely the latter. If it was the former then the royal family would have long issued a capturing order for the pair. Seeing that none of this issue was made only meant one thing, the pair is most likely connected to their Imperial Family and that they are not the empire’s enemy.

The Crown Prince looked at his father who was calmly waiting for him to digest the information for himself and understood that he might have guessed correctly this time.

”Father, are they connected to our Imperial Clan?” Ye Qinya asked.

As expected his Imperial father had smiled and said, ”You come with me to a place that will give you all the answers you wanted to know.”

That night the emperor had sent his son to the royal library’s forbidden zone and let him find the answers to his questions on his own.
