I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2147: 25.37 Lone Black Star - After the First Lesson

The revelation from the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had left all the sentinels in the class dumbfounded. They had never thought that one day someone would tell them that transformation is not an illness but instead something that can be controlled. They were all speechless and couldn’t easily accept it just because their teacher had told them that he could do it. Even the crown prince, Ye Qinya couldn’t easily believe it as well. However, he had already asked such a sensitive question and wanted to know if it was real or not.

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, said, ”Teacher Ye Xiajie, since you said that you can transform without getting contaminated by mental pollution, is it possible for you to show yourself in this transformed state?”

Ye Xiajie stares at Ye Qinya observing this little crown prince only to see that he was serious when he had asked for this. Moreover, he had not only calmly asked but also politely asked for his opinion. Then after thinking for a bit he shook his head.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness said, ”Though that is not impossible, the size of my quantum beast is too large. I can transform in the sky by that also means everyone in the empire would see it. In this place where full transformation is considered an illness, are you asking me to be captured as a sick person?”

Upon hearing the explanation of their teacher it sounds right that they cannot deny his words. Moreover, causing chaos in the city would not end well and the soldiers and military might mistake their teacher to be an extremely ill person and be captured and isolated on the spot. Such a thing cannot happen, the Crown Prince thought so and the sentinel student also thought of this so no one had asked their combat teacher to transform for them anymore.

”Teacher Ye Xiajie, if full transformation can be done, does this mean that your mental contamination will no longer increase upon use?” A student asked.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness answers, ”The power of the sentinel is too fierce and too powerful which affects their minds. So it’s normal to suffer mental contamination at each transformation but for me I don’t have a problem with regards to this sideeffect.”

”Why is that?” asked the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya.

Teacher Ye Xiajie answered, ”Because I am paired with my fated pair. I will never completely lose control of myself as long as my other half is alive.”

These words left all the sentinels dumbfounded. They were so shocked at first that they were speechless for a moment. But hearing the words, the fated pair was something that left them all shocked. This is a pair considered fated by destiny. It is the highest compatibility between a sentinel and a guide. Moreover once they are paired, it is the kind that lasts for as long as they are alive. It’s a partnership that cannot be declined or ignored. Something that would cause their soul to be out of control and to allow the pair to share not only their mental strength but also a connection beyond normal pairing.

The sentinel students exclaim in disbelief, ”FATED PAIR!!!”

The expression of the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness remains neutrally cold and detached. Ignoring the commotion he had caused himself, Ye Xiajie said to the sentinel students, ”Break time is over. Go and start running in rounds again! Run a 100 lap. The last one to finish will be receiving a punishment!”

With the declaration of punishments, the sentinel students immediately forgot about the topic of Fated Pair and started running. The last one who had failed to complete the running was punished for doing an extra lap and hundred push-ups as punishment. Now this student was as tired as a thirsty dog unable to close his mouth and was panting out of control.

Just like this, the first lesson under the instructions of the two new teachers of the royal class continued. On the other hand, the Noble class had only received one new teacher this day as one of them was sent to the clinic after fainting under the pressure of auras from the students of the Royal Class. It seems that Teacher Duan after fully embarrassing himself in the Royal Class chose not to attend the Noble class this morning. Only Teacher Yin, who had recovered faster, had come to the noble class to resume his duties as teachers.

Seemingly embarrassing enough for today, Teacher Duan after waking up from the clinic remembered everything that had happened to him. He had applied to the Imperial Royal Academy to show his strength and capabilities. It’s just he didn’t expect on the first day he is supposed to be teaching students would completely lose his face after being hit by auras from the students of the Royal Class. For Teacher Duan, just thinking about it truly made him lose his face. Moreover, maybe because he is over-stimulated, he had started blaming the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness for losing his face in front of the student. In reality, that couple didn’t even do anything against him and the ending he had gotten was something he had received because of what he had done himself.

New teachers were only supposed to have class in the morning and other lessons taught by the other teachers would take over in the afternoon. Things were alright at the side of the guide students under the teaching of the God of Destruction. In just one morning class, the guides now know the proper way to circulate their mental energy all around their body. The result was surprising as well. Not only did the guides feel that their body seems to be stronger compared to before and their control of their mental energy was something they had trained for the first time today.

As for the sentinel students, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness is merciless. Forget the casual training and laps around the area, their new combat teacher had made them run and run until they fell on the ground and after a short rest they were forced to do the same thing over and over again. However, no one complained as even their other combat teacher, the Crown Prince, is doing the same thing. This running had pushed the students to their limits the more they suffered. They can also feel that the heaviness caused by their mental continuation lessened a lot during this training. The Crown Prince actually wanted to invite the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness for lunch. However, by the end of the class, Teacher Ye Xiajie was picked up by their other new teacher, the God of Destruction, even leaving the Crown Prince unable to greet the other teachers as they disappeared faster than anyone else.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Alright. Let’s stop here. The lessons for today are finished.”

He immediately turned around and saw his beloved waiting for him from a distance standing under a tree waving his hands towards Ye Xiajie. The Crown Prince had recognised this as the new teachers of the guides in their class. Thinking of the uniqueness of the combat lessons they had suffered all morning about, the Crown Prince planned to check in the guide students and ask what was taught to them all morning. The other classmates from the royal class were also interested in this topic and came with the Crown Prince to check on their other classmates.

When they got to the area where the guide students of their royal class are, they were stunned by the materialized barrier that disappeared once the Crown Prince had reached out his hand to touch it and almost instinctively all the guides inside this barrier had woke up from their meditation and opened their eyes to see the sentinels of their class. As soon as they opened their eyes, the first thing they did was to check their mental energy. They realized that just this one morning lesson, they can feel the changes in their mental state. They are calmer and more stable than before their first lesson had started.

The Crown Prince asked, ”What did Teacher Mo have taught you just now? Were you meditating?”

”Answering to his highness, we were taught how to properly circulate our mental energy in our body until a loop was made. Teacher Mo had also taught us a breathing technique which allowed us to control our mental energy more stable than before.”

This meditation was enough proof that guides weren’t born weak and that they can also get stronger. Even though the Crown Prince isn’t a guide, he can feel the auras of these guide students. Before they had no complete control over their mental energy and would choose to restrain it instead of controlling it, making their auras feel suppressed. However, right now their mental state is as if they were refreshed. The restraint on their mental energy is still there but compared to a forced feeling before, right now their energy is more soothing and free.
