I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2142: 25.32 Lone Black Star - Unexpected Meeting

Under the protection of the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, the adopted son of the only royal duke of the empire, Ye Caoyun, a newly awakened high grade guide was escorted out of his class. He had agreed to have dinner with the crown prince and is now leaving the school premises. The Crown Prince had decided to bring Ye Caoyun to a luxurious restaurant in the city. A big restaurant with a high class management system which is no different from a Michelin starred restaurant in the modern world.

Inside the restaurant, private and expensive rooms were reserved and booked until the next year. However, for the owner of the place, the Crown Prince possessed one of the supreme grade rooms as his personal lounge while beside it is another supreme grade room opened for the guests. The Crown Prince observed the reaction of Ye Caoyun on their way to their private room. He had expected amazement or at least excitement in the young man’s eyes. Unfortunately for him, such a thing is not possible for the current Ye Caoyun.

As a former high god which mortal luxuries he hasn’t seen before. When he had become the peak power of his own world, everything that world can give, he had enjoyed them and got bored of it. In Vearth, God’s like them even have their own luxurious palace, a huge land no different from a lower realm world itself and treasures that wouldn’t even exist in some worlds. So this scene of luxury and wealth couldn’t move the heart of this reincarnated high god.

Ye Qinya’s thoughts while staring at Ye Caoyun, ’He isn’t surprised with this much privilege and wealth. Those calm eyes cannot be faked. He definitely had seen more riches and his noble demeanor. Isn’t he supposed to be an orphan? What kind of person did my Imperial Uncle adopt?’

”I do not know where you usually eat. There is no chef at home right now and I can only bring you over to a restaurant for dinner. I hope you do not mind,” said the Crown Prince with a smile as he glanced at the servants waiting for orders behind them to open the door to their private room.

Ye Qinya added, ”Is there something you wish to eat for dinner?”

”A full course meal would suffice,” said Ye Caoyun.

The two were about to enter their private room when suddenly the door next door opened and a couple came out. A tall, dangerously handsome, mature man wearing a pure black casual yet expensive clothing comes out carrying an extremely beautiful sleepy man in a comfortable and loose silk white clothing that is completely similarly designed as the man carrying. The taller man held the smaller man in his arms carrying him like a child or some kind of precious treasure and came out of the room.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Baby, hold on properly.”

”Hm~ I want some desserts. Let’s buy some cakes on our way home,” said Hei Anjing.

This couple is none other than the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. They were only here to eat dinner and they quite enjoyed it. It’s just that Hei Anjing suddenly felt sleepy after eating. Not wanting to let his beloved sleep in this place, Ye Xiajie had no other choice but to carry his wife out. Who would have thought that just as he was about to carry Hei Anjing with a princess, his beloved would suddenly wrap his legs around his waist and his arm around his neck. Like a naughty child asking to be carried this way. For grown men in this position, it would be quite an embarrassing sight and seemingly shameless.

Unfortunately for the public opinion, this couple was never one to care about such things. They do whatever they want which leads to the crown prince and Ye Caoyun seeing this intimate scene without a filter.

The two pairs stare at each for a moment. The elder pair looked so calm without much reaction. They didn’t even care that the pair is made up of a crown prince and a duke’s son. On the other hand, the Crown Prince turns a bit serious. These are the pair of sentinel and guide who are under investigation due to their unmeasured real strength grade and undiscovered identity.

’This two are that couple! The new teachers who were accepted recently. Did they come here for us? Is there some kind of scheme?’ These are the thoughts of the Crown Prince.

Meanwhile, Ye Caoyun was shocked. As a former god himself there is no way he would mistake the divine energy from something else. He immediately realized that this couple might be divinities disguised as mortals to watch over this world. It was just unknown if they had connections to the upper realm world, Vearth.

Yawns~

Suddenly hearing a yawn, the God of Destruction who was feeling sleepy and had closed his eyes the moment his head had rested on the shoulder of his husband slowly opened and looked at the young pair not far from them.

”Stop overthinking. We came here to eat, not for anything else. You should calm your aura or you would lose control over it again.” Hei Anjing said to the Crown Prince.

He then looked at the reincarnated Highgod and said, ”Little one, I suggest that you cleanse your body soon or your high grade mental energy would harm you the next time you use it.”

Yawns~

”Alright. I’m a bit sleepy. My love, let’s buy my cake before the store closes,” said the God of Destruction before once again closing his eyes to sleep.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness didn’t even give the pair a glance and just gave his wife a kiss on his forehead before carrying him away. The Crown Prince and Ye Caoyun watch as the couple disappear at the other end of the hallway and leave the floor they were in. Once the sight of the couple was gone, the tense atmosphere in the area had faded. Ye Qinya couldn’t hold back sighing in relief. He had never felt that kind of helplessness before and this feeling is instinctive and couldn’t be easily explained.

Sensing the changes of expression on the Crown Prince, Ye Caoyun realized that the prince must have known who those two are.

Ye Caoyun asked, ”Crown Prince, do you know that couple?”

”Hm, they are among the recently accepted teachers in the Academy. They should be teaching in your royal class,” answered the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya.

The peach blossom eyes of Ye Caoyun narrowed knowingly and said, ”If they become teachers then... I have to attend my classes seriously from now on.”

Even though the Crown Prince wanted to ask the reason why Ye Caoyun said these words, he knew that he wasn’t lying when he said it. Just based on his question asking the identity of that couple signifies that he truly didn’t know them before. However, it seems he noticed something else that he didn’t.

”Alright. Let’s have dinner for now. If you don’t eat on time, my Imperial Uncle’s Lord Consort will scold me,” said Ye Qinya, the crown prince.

Ye Caoyun looked at the prince and said, ”You are the crown prince, would my parents even scold you?”

”They are elders. They can scold me anytime,” said the crown prince and gestured for Ye Caoyun towards the door. ”Let’s go inside.”

The dinner that night was happily accomplished but Ye Caoyun chose not to bother the crown prince further that night. While eating their meals, the Crown Prince had informed him things and details about the sentinels and guides. Ye Caoyun finally knew the reason why those sentinel classmates of his had suddenly surrounded him in the classroom. They were all going to ask him for a compatibility test. Single sentinels would actively seek unpaired guides. After all, this is a chance for them to find a pair that can help them ease the pain of mental contamination.

After knowing this, Ye Caoyun decided to ignore the sentinel classmates in his class. Do they truly think that being a guide meant he would be helpless against them? As long as his marrow and meridians were free of impurities, it is not impossible to gain a physical body similar to that of a sentinel. No wonder the teacher they’ve met just now reminded him to resolve the problems in his physical body.

Once the dinner was over, the Crown Prince had safely sent Ye Caoyun back to the duke’s mansion where the servants had been waiting for his return.

At the front door, a car was pulled over and the Crown Prince opened the door for Ye Caoyun. The servants of the house were surprised when they saw the famous Crown Prince helping their young master out of the car. After greeting the crown prince the servants had approached their young master taking over his things for him.

Ye Caoyun said to the Crown Prince, ”Your Highness, thank you for sending me home. Be careful on your way back.”

”Um. Can I call you Yun’er?” Ye Qinya asked and even added, ”You can also stop calling me your highness. It’s alright to call me brother if you wish to.”

”Please feel free to call me as you wish, Brother Qinya,” said Ye Caoyun.

The reason he did this is because his dad told him to get along with the Crown Prince. Since the royal family is indeed his father’s family then he can only treat them the same way he treats his foster parents. Since he was given permission by the Crown Prince to call him by his name then he will not reject him. Ye Caoyun didn’t expect the Crown Prince to smile after hearing that had agreed to this sudden change in name calling.

Ye Qinya said, ”Then I will be returning now. Sleep well, Yun’er.”

”You too, Brother Qinya,” said Ye Caoyun as he watches the car of the Crown Prince leave the premises of the mansion.

The servants behind him didn’t show much reaction to their faces but in their minds, they were already screaming out loud. After all, that was the first time they had seen a smiling crown prince. Who is the crown prince? He is an infamous figure in the empire as a cold-hearted sentinel who mercilessly kills his enemies. Now they had to witness him asking their young master to call him brother. This is simply unbelievable in the eyes of these servants.

The old butler said, ”Young prince, the bath had been prepared in your room.”

”Thank you, Grandpa Butler!” Ye Caoyun smiled.

The servants in this mansion had never looked down on him for being adopted. Instead they treated her like their real young master and likewise, Ye Caoyun had treated him as a part of their duke’s family.
