I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2122: 25.12 Lone Black Star - Checking through worlds (3)

In some cultivation world of unknown grade stars, at some kind of underground temple. Within some kind of unbreakable barrier, a pair of slumbering couples remain asleep from within. Their eyes tightly close as if they are just sleeping. The underground temple is devoid of light but as if these two beings were made up of light itself, they were slightly glowing within this dark temple altar. The area was too quiet until the sounds of footsteps coming closer were heard.

Finally, the goddess that was called monarch of this world arrived with her face still covered in a veil. She approached the barrier trying to destroy it with her fist. Only for this full power punch from her to not even leave a mark on the barrier and only ripples remain. She clicked her tongue in anger and slightly massaged her aching fist. It was because of this damn barrier! She had already tried all means to destroy it. But no matter what she did it was still useless. There wasn’t even a crack appearing on it despite everything she had done before.

Tsk!

”This damn barrier is truly in the way! As long as I get control of the Ancient God of Chaos, she can go to the Sea of Chaos and take it away! Just what is this barrier made of!” The woman in veil murmured in anger.

She continued to attack the barrier but it was still so useless and even the ripples were like proof of how powerless she is. Even though she is almost angered to death, if she can’t break the barrier then she must find a way to destroy it.

BAM!

”Just because I cannot do it, it doesn’t mean others cannot! I do not believe I cannot wake you up! Once you are awake I will take away all the Chaos Energy on this cosmos and make it mine. I wonder what would the Dark Lord do if he learned that half of his cosmos is already under my control? Hehe~” said the female in veil before walking away after glaring at the Ancient God of Chaos and the World Eater inside the barrier. She was so angry that she could only leave before she went insane in rage.

Back to the second S-grade world, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness are watching...

The reincarnated cannon fodder after being carried away by some to the clinic woke up seeing the familiar white ceiling and the scent of disinfectant in the room. Beside him is the worried clinic doctor watching over him with reddening eyes, looking at him worriedly. The reincarnated looked through his memories and realized that within this damn school only this kind healing guide intern was kind enough to treat him as a human.

”Caoyun, you have one broken rib this time. If that student wasn’t kind enough to bring you to the clinic and call for me you might not be able to survive. Are those young masters still bullying you?” The healing guide asked.

The reincarnated cannon fodder is called Bai Caoyun. A waste that didn’t even awaken as a guide despite being from the family who gave birth to a high grade guide. He was kicked out of the family and is barely able to stay at the school as a scholar subsidized student. He was already about to graduate only to die in that restroom after hitting the back of his head when he was pushed. He was replaced by a soul wisp of a highgod and had now been replaced.

Bai Caoyun, now the former highgod, narrowed his eye dangerously but it only lasted for a few seconds which the intern healing guide didn’t notice.

”Teacher, I might have to drop out this time because I fought back today,” he said.

When the clinic doctor heard about that he frowned and said, ”There is no need for you to drop out. If they cancel your scholarship, I will just adopt you!”

Upon hearing this Bai Caoyun was stunned, he didn’t expect that he would wake up in this new world with someone suddenly wanting to support him. Unfortunately, this is something he doesn’t need. With his divinity, he can heal this body. Forget about a guide or a sentinel, he can become both if he truly wanted to. After all, he is a god even though he had just reincarnated he is still a real upper realmed divinity.

”Teacher Mo, I do not need it. Also, I do not think your family will agree. After all, I am... a failure that cannot even awaken,” said Bai Caoyun.

The intern healing guide called Teacher Mo exclaimed, ”There are no useless people in this world. Only people who continue to live because they wanted to and fools who gave up their lives because of hardship. Even as an ordinary person you can continue living in this world. Who told you that they cannot live if you are born ordinary!?”

This teacher is from a fallen noble family, the Mo Clan. They used to be one of the vanguard of the empire but after the old patriarch of the Mo Clan had gotten injured and lost himself to mental outburst, the whole Mo Clan had fallen. Only this young guide, Mo Jing was born as the only healer of the Mo Clan. The Mo Clan is actually one of the only good noble clans who accepts the existence of ordinary people. For them, whether you are a guide, a sentinel or an ordinary person as long as you didn’t break the law then you are all equal.

”Don’t give up on yourself, Caoyun. You are smart and know medicine. You can become an ordinary doctor even if you can’t become a healing guide,” said Teacher Mo Jing. ”Let the teacher adopt you. You can stay with the Mo Clan until you are an adult. Okay, Caoyun?”

”...” Bai Caoyun hesitated greatly. He can do anything he wants if he just leaves the school and creates a new identity. But the original owes this teacher so much and to ease the karma between them, he must repay them with equal things. Seeing the anticipating and innocent look of Teacher Mo staring at him he couldn’t help but sigh in heart.

He had been an orphan before becoming a god. On the path of godhood, he had experienced more betrayal than loyalty and love. Which is why when he could no longer increase his realm he didn’t hesitate to enter reincarnation after all he had nothing to lose and no one to be sad for him. Suddenly experiencing this kindness at his lowest made him lower his guard.

Bai Caoyun said, ”Then I will owe Teacher Mo for now.”

”That’s great! Let me make the arrangements! Don’t worry with me here, no one will be allowed to bully you! Have rest first, there is something I must do,” said Mo Jing as he ran out of the clinic before Bai Caoyun could ask Teacher Mo who had saved him and brought him to the clinic.

However, the weakness on his body is still apparent. Once he laid down on the bed again his eyes slowly closed and he fell asleep almost in an instant. Bai Caoyun didn’t know that as soon as he fell asleep another figure appeared from the open window of the clinic and someone’s figure appeared standing there watching over him in silence.

The man whispers, ”Too thin.”

—

Back to the outside world, Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie were watching the scene unfolding before their eyes.

The God of Destruction said, ”This little guy’s antics are so similar to you. You also liked to sneak into my room after I had fallen asleep. Do you gongs have this kind of collective quirk of sneaking in the window just to watch someone sleeping.”

”Baby, you blamed me wrongly. I am not like this brat. If it was me I would have joined you on the bed and helped you warm up,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Hei Anjing said, ”Your words were normal but how come it sounds a bit perverted.”

”Jing’er, you are overthinking things~,” said Ye Xiajie as he pulled his wife closer to him enjoying the refreshing scent of snow from his beloved.

—

On the other hand, in the Sea of Chaos...

The children of the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness were all okay. Though the absorption of the chaos energy isn’t that fast at least they can naturally control it. The Sovereign God of Life and Death, Mo Baojun is also alright. This man had strict control over his body and power. Even if it’s a newly found power, he will not urge things unless he has full control. He was never arrogant of his power despite being unique and a born genius.

Unfortunately, his other half, the Sovereign God of Creation and Light, Shen Siwang is different. Even after he was born, he lived the life of a privilege. He always believed that everything must bow to him and his only exception was his wife. Because of this, he is the only one among the people in the group who had gotten hit by the enhanced fan in possession of Zhi Yang and Zhi Yue.

Shen Siwang was about to get taken over by the power of chaos again and growl like a mad beast only to return to normal as a huge, white fan hit the back of his head. The one who hit him was Zhi Yue.

Zhi Yue complained as it happened frequently that he could barely feel his arms.

”Lord Shen, please be careful. I feel like I am playing whack a mole with how frequently you lose control!”
