I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2150: 25.40 Lone Black Star - Empress Xie Shulan

After following his Imperial Father, the Crown Prince Ye Qinya was brought to the Forbidden Area of the Royal Library. The sight of the book spirits and the interior of the hidden library had shocked Ye Qinya. He had never expected that there would be an area like this in the Royal Library. Without wasting time, the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang had brought his son to the location where their family’s genealogy tree is located. Upon reaching the end of the place, like how the other four royal family members had reacted before, Ye Qinya was dumbfounded when he saw the familiar faces on the huge painting before him.

The Crown prince whipped his head and looked at his imperial father losing control over his composture and asked, ”Imperial Father! Is this real!!? But how is that possible? Their appearances haven’t changed at all and a few hundreds of years have already passed.”

The book spirits who had come with them giggles and fly around the new member from the royal family.

”How is that impossible?”

”The First Emperor and the Lord Consort had stopped aging when they became gods.”

”They are immortals!”

”They can no longer age.”

”However, to avoid problems they would not stay in one place for too long.”

”If they had truly returned to the empire it only meant one thing...”

”Something bad is going to happen.”

”They might have come to inform you about it!”

The words of the book spirits had made the Imperial Emperor and the Crown Prince speechless. No one had thought why their immortal ancestors would suddenly return to the empire after they left. They had always overlooked that two god level individuals wouldn’t just appear like this unless they are here for something. Moreover, the fact that they head to the academy to work as soon as they arrive teaching techniques that had been lost through time and even sharing some ways to help the sentinels and guides to get stronger seems to have a meaning now.

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya murmured, ”No wonder. They are suddenly teaching things that would help the younger generation how to become stronger, how to control their powers and how to not fear their abilities.”

”Had they taught something new in the academy?” The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang asked.

Ye Qinya, the Crown Prince, answers truthfully. ”In the first lesson they had not only taught the guide students how to control their mental energy but also trained the sentinels not to lose control and slowly increase the possibility of promotion of strength through a breakthrough.”

”Physique and mental energy can be promoted?” The Imperial Emperor exclaimed.

The Crown Prince recalled the lessons they had gotten this morning and the instant result of this few hours of training. He now believes that their ancestors had returned to the empire and started teaching the current generation how to control their ability and transformation.

Ye Qinya answered, ”Yes. It should be possible. Moreover, the First Emperor also said that full Transformation isn’t an illness but the second phase of strength for the Sentinels. Also, upon meeting the Lord Consort, I do not think that the guides are weak. During their lessons this morning, the Lord Consort had materialized his mental energy to create a physical barrier. There is also that breathing technique that increases the healing effect and duration of a guide’s healing capabilities.”

”I wonder if I am allowed to meet my ancestors. Qin’er, how about you ask them,” said the Imperial Emperor of the Empire.

Seeing the anticipation and excitement in his Imperial Father’s eyes, the Crown Prince can hardly decline. Though he felt that the First Emperor is a bit hard to get along with, maybe talking to the Lord Consort would be better. It was just their descendants asking for an audience anyway.

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya responded to the words of the emperor, ”Yes, Imperial Father!”

Meanwhile at the maiden family mansion of the Imperial Empress...

The sudden arrival of the Imperial Empress to her maiden clan, the whole clan was startled. They had never expected that an Empress like their daughter would suddenly return to the clan asking her grandfather for a cooking book which confused everyone in the family.

”My granddaughter... Why have you come home? Have you finally accidentally beaten your husband dead?” An old master from the maiden family of the Imperial Empress side asked.

The face of the Imperial Empress turned red whether it was due to anger or embarrassment no one knows.

”No! He is still alive. Ah! This is not what I meant!” The Imperial Empress said. ”I am looking for that ancient cooking book of my great grandfather. Have you sold it for real? To whom had you sold it from?”

”What are you panicking for? Isn’t it just an old book? Wait, let me think about whom I sold the book to,” the old man laying on his rocking chair closed his eyes as if thinking.

The Imperial Empress waited for her grandfather to speak when suddenly she heard some snoring noises and realized that her grandfather had fallen asleep when she thought he was just trying to recall where the thing she was looking for was.

”Just as I expected... Sigh~ forget it. I will just look for it myself,” the Imperial Empress mumbles while pouting. Yet she still asked a servant to bring a blanket for the old man and told some people to watch over him as he slept just in case he fell over while sleeping.

She on the other hand had started looking around her own house for that book full of concoction that might change their empire in the future. By the time the old man had woken up, he noticed that someone had placed a blanket over him as he fell asleep. Among his children only the current empress is the daughter of their Xie clan. She is the only daughter within the generation of the Xie Clan who bore only sons. That’s why the whole clan spoils Xie Shulan with everything. Even her current husband was chosen by the clan after checking on Ye Wang’s personality and attitude towards this granddaughter of his.

The current emperor, Ye Wang, had never wronged his granddaughter. Even before he had become the emperor, he had never married any other woman and only had this one empress in his life. Even when his ministers advised him that the Emperor must have more heir and to fill the harem, Ye Wang never did so. His promise to his wife, Xie Shulan, being the only empress in the palace had been kept until now. They had one son who is now the Crown Prince. But due to the bad situation of the Crown Prince’s mental contamination and the Emperor’s rejection for adding people to the harem, they had forced the royal family to compromise and named a few kings and named their children as princes. The kind of prince that can inherit the throne as long as the current royal family is dead.

Because of this the burden on the Crown Prince’s back had gotten heavier and he had almost lived in the battlefield until his mental contamination had reached a very bad level. Old Master Xie explains why his beloved granddaughter is looking for their ancestral cooking book. However, since the Imperial Empress truly wanted it he could only find it and gave it to her. However, just as he left the garden to look for his granddaughter, what welcomed him in his own home was the interior of the house as if a wild cyclone had destroyed everything on its way.

With a darkening face, Old Master Xie asked, ”Where is that stupid brat of mine!?”

”The Imperial Empress is in your study room still looking around for something she called a cooking book. Now every servant in the clan is helping her find this book,” an old butler tasked to serve the old master answered.

Old Master Xie complained while walking towards his study to catch that granddaughter of his, ”Is she trying to flip over the whole mansion for a single book!?”

On the other hand, in the Imperial Royal Academy...

Duchess Mo Jing had returned and the first thing he did was to look for his son, Ye Caoyun, to have some lunch together. It was quite a coincidence that the morning class had ended and his son had agreed to have lunch together. The father and son didn’t choose to eat out as both would be busy with their respective schedules in the afternoon so they chose to eat in the cafeteria where they had bumped into the new teachers of their academy.

Teacher Duan had finally woke up after that failure when he had fainted under the collective suppression of the Royal Class’s students. He had actually been depressed that he had lost all his face in front of the royal class students this morning and is now blaming the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness for his own failure.

”This is all your fault! You had schemed against me!” Teacher Duan exclaimed.
