I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2051: 24.312 Sixth Violet Star - Trust and Love

The arrival of General Lei Shen to the area had changed the atmosphere. Even the culprit who was causing the scene didn’t expect him to arrive at this moment. The scene of him bullying ordinary soldiers was seen by their leader which is no different than him abusing his authority and going beyond what he is allowed to do. General Lei Shen was enraged. He didn’t expect that this useless general had truly dared to make a move against his soldiers.

General Lei Shen no longer held back his anger.

”Hu Ying! How dare you harm my soldiers!” Lei Shen bellowed.

General Hu Ying looked overwhelmed at first that his fat shook as he trembled, but thinking that even among generals, standing and background differs. Like how he is from a noble household, and general Lei Shen was someone from an ordinary family but later on was adopted under the Long Clan making him standing noble. However, before the eyes of the real nobles, he is only an upstart and not a real noble.

Hmp!

”How dare you question someone from the nobles!? You are only an adopted one. You can never be a real noble. So what if I bully those peasants under you!” General Hu Ying said with an arrogant look.

Looking down at General Lei Shen and his soldiers, this fatass general seems to be mocking them for their lowly bearings. This reaction from him had angered the soldiers. Most of them were from the ordinary household and this insult from General Hu Ying made them so angry and humiliated. Moreover, even their general was being looked at together with them which they couldn’t bear at all.

”What are you glaring at!? Did I even say something wrong? I only told the truth. No matter what you do, you will remain under us nobles!”

While General Hu Ying was being proud of his noble standing he didn’t even notice that the other general was already losing his temper. While he was saying his piece, General Hu Ying didn’t even notice that General Lei Shen had somehow gotten closer to him. By the time he noticed, a big fist was already flying towards his face. General Lei Shen was merciless with this punch and even his teeth flew together with himself.

That one punch doesn’t seem enough as well. General Lei Shen gave him a few kicks before grabbing him by the back of his clothing and threw him out of his camp.

”Don’t you dare enter my camp! If I see you harming my soldiers again, I will beat you up again! Scram!!”

After throwing the bastard general out of his camp, General Lei Shen ignored his cursing. General Hu Ying who was humiliated can only scream curses but he doesn’t dare to chase after Lei Shen. He was afraid of getting even more beaten up than how he is right now.

General Lei Shen returned to his soldiers and said, ”Help them up and treat their wounds. As for that fat bastard, immediately report to me if something is going on.”

”Yes, Lord General!”

When the soldiers were helped up, the general gestured to them to be sent for treatment. After watching the area, general Lei Shen returned to his tent to continue his work.

Meanwhile at the military headquarters...

Marshal Gu Ying was receiving a report from the servants of his place. They seem to be reporting something about the family of the marshal. Knowing that the general seems to have changed for the worse, just coming over like this to report scared the hell out of these servants.

”Lord Marshal, the young master is gone!”

”We have checked his room but it was already empty this morning.”

”We didn’t know when he had disappeared and thought he had gone to a friend’s home like before.”

”But we have also checked with the young master’s friends. They said... they haven’t seen the young master for a while now.”

The servants were kneeling on the ground and avoided meeting the eyes of Marshal Gu Ying. Actually the young master had gone missing for a month now. They had just hidden this information from the general who rarely goes home. They thought they could find the young master before the general came home and looked for him.

Who would have thought that today would be the day that the marshal would come looking for the young master? Now that they are being questioned by the marshal, they had nothing to answer with.

Marshal Gu Ying said, ”Are you telling me you lost my son!?”

The cold voice of the human marshal echoes in the whole room making the butler and maids tremble on the spot. They truly didn’t expect that Young master Gu Yang would be gone. They didn’t even know where he might have gone. When they investigated, they heard from the guards that they had seen the young master, Gu Yang leaving the military compound.

Of course, they didn’t question young master Gu Yang much. Not only is he the only son of their marshal, youngsters of his age would also leave the compound to do simple missions. How would they even expect that the young master wouldn’t even return that night and even after a week had passed Gu Yang had never returned?

The servants of the Gu mansion were now horrified by what the master of the house would do to them after they had lost their young master.

”Master, that was not true!”

”We tried our best to find the young master but...the guards said he left the military compound and hasn’t returned until now...”

”So you are telling me, he has been gone for days and you only dare to report it to me today? Is that it?” Marshal Gu Ying questioned.

He stares at the servants with cold eyes as if looking at cold corpses. He only needs to make some gesture for his contracted animal to come out of his shadow and surround these useless people.

”Since you are so useless, what is the use I have for you?” Marshal Gu Ying said as an unidentified, monster-like creature crawled out of his shadows and was now getting closer to the servant of the Gu Clan.

The butler and maids tried to beg for mercy but the marshal looked at them like dead corpses.

”I do not keep useless things! Eat them!” Marshal Gu Ying commanded his contracted beast to eat these humans who had angered him.

While his beast was busy eating his snacks, Marshal Gu Ying as if he couldn’t see the dead people, and a pool of blood suddenly grabbed his chest and leaned on his table.

Urgh~

”Your son is not dead! Why are you struggling now? This is the body you gave up for power and fame. You cannot take it back that easily! Gu Ying!” The marshal said as he was talking to himself. No, to the real Gu Ying and not him who had taken over the body of this marshal.

Ignoring the pain in his heart, Marshal Gu Ying looked at the direction of the ancient forest. There is something in that forest that he is eager to see but couldn’t make a move himself.

In the Barren Land. Core region.

Inside the mansion, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness were watching the scene on the system’s holographic screen before them. All this time, even though they didn’t make a move personally, they had been watching the events unfold. They watch the scene of Prophet Heri sending the protagonist and his group to the borders where the main Chapter of the world plot would unfold. Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie felt that their Uncle Heri was doing his job well.

”With this, Long Juedi and his team should be able to fight against the Evil Beast God and his contractor, Pei Jin. Do you think they can win, A’Xia?” The God of Destruction, Hei Anjing asked his lover.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness didn’t seem to have heard his beloved’s question, making Hei Anjing turn his head to look at him.

”What’s wrong?” He asked.

Ye Xiajie stiffly looked down to meet Hei Anjing’s eyes. His eyes at this moment were not crimson but instead pure black.

”Jing’er, do not trust the other me too much,” said the black irised Ye Xiajie.

The God of Destruction lightly narrowed his eyes yet the playful smile at the corner of his lips remains.

”You are... The Hell Fire Lord?”

”No, I’m Ye Xiajie as well. The Lord of Hell Fire is also me, but I am not the Dark Lord.”

Hei Anjing’s playful smile changed into that of a gentle one. His eyes were still full of affection as he looked at the man before him. He said, ”I don’t believe you two would harm me.”

”You are too trusting, Jing’er,” said the Lord of Hell Fire.

The God of Destruction said, ”It’s because I love you that I am willing to trust you, that’s all.”
