I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2047: 24.308 Sixth Violet Star - Head to the Borders

Colorful flares blooming in the night sky. Those who were looking had all witnessed this beautiful light. However, no matter how beautiful this flare is. It is nothing but a sign that chaos would come. What scared the residents of the ancient forest was the spreading crack that finally appeared on the barrier that surrounds the whole forest. Now that the crack had appeared the possibility of the barrier breaking is now unavoidable.

Upon seeing this the Lord Prophet issued martial law. All warriors are to gather at the open area. In front of the crowd were leader figures of each race. The one in lead is none other than the prophet. Beside his is the former elf king and guardian of the forest Lord Vega. There is also the current leader of the elf remnant, Lord Vera. The lord of the remnant dwarfs, Lord Garan. The God of all spirits, Lord Thorn and the elder beastmen.

”The time had finally arrived. Our final battle to defend our home! Pick up your weapon, wear your armor. Fight! Fight! Fight! We only need to last for a month! As long as we still exist for a month we will win!” Prophet Heri said.

It was unknown why his words were full of hidden meaning. It was incomplete yet it seems to be the most convincing. They only need to fight and survive, they realized that as long as they last for a month they would win this war. The prophet never says a fake future. All he had seen were all futures that would happen if nothing was there to change to it. That’s why everyone in the ancient forest believes him.

Prophet Heri looked at his mate and said, ”Guardian you will be the commander. Vera, Garan you will assist him and lead a group on your own. Spit the three races to three groups. The craftsman will start blacksmithing non-stop starting today. Those who can’t fight you will help make food, farm, and heal the injured. The elder shamans will focus on controlling the forest. The walls must never fall!”

”Yes. Everything will be as you will! Lord Prophet!”

Under the command of the prophet everyone in the tribe had made a move. Once they received their mission, they had dispersed. Lord Vega looked at his mate and gave him a kiss and hugged his daughter for quite a while before leaving.

”Don’t worry, Heri. I will protect our home, the forest. Then come back to your side,” said Lord Vega.

Heri hugs his beloved and exchanges a kiss for the last time.

”Be careful, brother.” Heri whispered.

Haerin said, ”Papa... Please come back alive.”

”I will.” Lord Vega said as he smiled at his family.

Only when he turned his back on them did all the gentleness he had for his family fades from his eyes as he turns around and heads to where the warriors have gathered.

”It’s time to leave,” said Lord Vega as he joined the warriors to fight to protect their loved ones, their home and their land.

Once all the warriors had left the tribe, the Prophet looked at the children who had gathered behind him and the Spirit God who was waiting for them to leave.

”It’s time for you to leave. You will use one of the escape routes the dwarfs had made underground then head to the borders. If it’s now you should be able to leave. Lord Thorn please escort them yourself. If... If by chance they were noticed... You only need to make sure they’ve stepped on the border. As long as they are on the land of the border, the marshal will never attempt to make a move on them.” Prophet Heri said.

The Gods of all spirits narrowed his eyes as he understood something within the words of the prophet before him.

”There is something in the borders that the villain is trying to avoid. Does it have something to do with what hand that appeared in the mortal realm before?” Lord Thorn asked.

When the Guardian of the cosmos had made a move before, every divinity in this world had noticed. After all, that presence was something that possessed an overwhelming presence that could crush them with its aura alone. There is no way that the Spirit God Thorn would not notice it especially when the human marshal had seen it himself from a distance.

The prophet didn’t say a word but smiled. Then he looks at his daughter, Haerin and his future son-in-law, Long Juedi. He held their hands and let their hands hold on one another.

”There is one thing you must remember. You are the beloved son and daughter of this world. The duties of the chosen one. The reason for your existence. Everything about that is real. But all I wanted you to keep in your mind is simple. Together as one. Help each other, never see the other as a burden and do not keep a secret between you.”

Prophet Heri was suddenly crying as he held the hands of the two children who hold the fate of the world in their hands.

”If it’s possible we would never let you do this fated mission of saving the world. Your brothers would have been enough to keep the world protected. But because they are too powerful and the villain kept hiding that they had no means to force him to come out. Only when what was destined had happened would what is meant to happen after next would appear.”

”Your brothers didn’t hide because they didn’t want to see you. They weren’t even hiding. The reason they aren’t coming out is because they aren’t meant to make a move yet. Only when the world mission is done will they gain their freedom.”

”Father, you mean my brothers are being restrained by something and only when the final villain comes out do they appear as well?!” Haerin asked.

Seriously thinking, Long Juedi said, ”So we need to defeat Pei Jin and his contracted Evil Beast God for them to appear.”

”Yes. Only you and your group can do it. No one else can. Your brothers are the only ones who can prevent the destruction of our world. But for this to happen, you must do what you are destined to do.”

”Isn’t it better if I kill those two you mentioned instead?” The Spirit God Thorn said.

Prophet Heri shook his head, ”No. That is something you mustn’t do. If you do then... the heavens would punish you and you might perish!”

Silence~

The atmosphere in the area turned serious, tense and full of uncertainty.

The Spirit God Thorn clicked his tongue. Among the ones in the area, the one who understood the prophet’s words the most would be him. After all, once one reached ascension and gained divinity that they would realize that the world itself was made out of laws of daos. Something that can balance everything in the world and only by becoming a god out of the control of the world will one be considered free and he hasn’t reached that level yet. Not even the famed Holy Dragon God had reached it as well.

”I understand. I only need to safely escort them to the borders. I will do it.” The Spirit God Thorn had shrunk his body into the size of a thumbelina and stood on Nangong Rui’s shoulder. ”Oh? Before I forgot... Tree, you will accompany my daughter and protect her with your life.”

The Elemental Emperor of all forests, Lord Tree had appeared before Xue Laira and kneel on one knee. His materialization in this realm was permanent and didn’t need the Spirit Princess’s help to maintain his figure as the one who called him over was the Spirit God himself. Unless the Spirit God left the mortal realm, he will be able to regenerate endlessly. That’s why Lord Thorn left this Elemental Emperor by his daughter’s side. As he knows that he can stay at the borders.

{With this life, I promise to protect the Princess, you majesty!} Grandpa Tree said.

Spirit God Thorn nodded his head and said, ”It’s to leave. We can hide better while the night is still up.”

As for the other children, they had also bid their farewells to their parents. The parents with tears in the corner of their eyes can only send away their children. There is nothing they can do about this as the place they are in is about to become a war zone anytime now. King Garan had sent the group of children together with the shrink Spirit God and Elemental Emperor to the underground path. The children will have to find their path towards the borders. They have the maps with them. Thankfully, there is Shika and his youngest brother showing the path. The underground path was like a huge maze with countless routes and it was easy to get lost in it. Only a dwarf who can feel the land can easily find the correct route.

After the children were sent to the secret path, the cracks on the barrier had spread faster and finally the sound of it breaking echoed in the whole ancient forest making all those who live in the forest turned serious. At the hidden caves within the ancient forest, two pairs of eyes abruptly open. Both pairs of eyes were not that of a human.

{The barrier made by Lord Hei had been broken. Should we make a move?}

{Not yet. Master says to only come out when the beings from the Divine Realm are defeated. Take a nap. It is not time for us to wake up yet.}

{Alright. I will listen to you, Reine.}

Those two pairs of eyes had once again closed while outside of the forest, the human soldiers were celebrating for the success of breaking the barrier around the ancient forest.
