I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2033: 24.294 Sixth Violet Star - Spirit God’s Intervention

After the conversation between Spirit God Thorn and his daughter, the princes of the Spirit Realm, Xue Laira had ended, the former immediately chose to return to his world to do his work.

In the Spirit Realm, as soon as he returned, Spirit God Thorn had directly returned to his palace where the summoning array is located. An ancient looking palace, empty yet serene, huge and majestic at the core of it are two arrays. One is to summon and the other is to protect the realm. Spirit God Thorn as soon as he got back to this palace immediately took control of the summoning array and made adjustments into it.

In some places within the spirit realm, especially in the area where the low ranked elementals live, a few had already gone into hiding as those who had been summoned never returned once they were summoned out. Now every time a summoning array appears any elementals who were within it would show fear on their faces.

”Mom, I’m being summoned! What should I do?!”

”I’m scared! Please don’t summon me!”

”N-No! I don’t want this! I don’t!”

”Wuhuhu~ I don’t want to die.”

The elementals were in grief. Some had already closed their eyes waiting for their deaths to come. Who would have thought that at this moment, the summoning circle that had come for them would flicker until it broke and disappeared from under their foot. Every elemental who thought they would die were shocked to see that they had survived for some reason. Just before they can understand something. Some of them had noticed the huge retrieval array portals in the sky, only then did they realize that their God returned and saved them all.

”Look at the sky!”

”A forced retrieval array!”

”All elementals have been dragged back to the Spirit Realm!”

”The Spirit God is back!”

”Our ruler has returned!”

While the elementals in the spirit realm were cheering, the humans and some elves who were forced to do the summoning were all given a divine punishment by the Spirit God. They and anything near them that wasn’t an elemental was struck down to death. The forced contracts were all reflected with nothing to harm the forced party. Those who had willingly signed the life and death contract had survived but those who had forced the elementals to sign against their will were also killed by the lightning that had suddenly fallen from the sky.

—

In the mortal realm, at the military base, the humans and beasts among the crowd notice that something bad is happening. Those with good instinct had immediately left the range of the divine punishment, leaving those who failed to escape be struck by the lightning. There are still those who had used the potion on time and survived the punishment as dying meant their signed elemental will die with them. However, their connections were sealed and the pair cannot use each other’s power or harm each other.

Crizzs! BOOM!

”What the hell?! How come lightning is falling from the sky!?”

”Dodge! It’s targeting everything that is not a spirit!”

”Fuck! It’s just summoning!”

”Who told us we are to summon a divine punishment!”

BOOM!

This is the new imposed laws by the Spirit God to its contractors and elementals. Since he couldn’t retrieve these elementals back to the spirit realm, the only way to allow them to survive is to wait for the effects of the potion to fade while in absolute protection in process. The beast race and humans who noticed this change knew that the Spirit God had returned to the Spirit Realm. After all, only the sole God of all Spirits can bend all laws that involve the elementals and spirits in this world.

The human marshal, Gu Ying, watches the Spirit Realm Laws appear in the sky above their military compound. He watches as these divine lightning were hitting those who forced a life and death contract to some elements who were able to fight back the effects of the potions and were reversed summoned to the Spirit Realm. As for those who were affected by absolute defense inflicted by these laws, are those elementals who had fallen under the effects of the potion. But as if they were sealed in some kind of hard jade, those that signed contracts with these affected elementals couldn’t even control anything despite signing a life and death contract with it.

Marshal Gu Ying mumbles, ”The God of Spirits had interfered. Now this potion can no longer be used. Only those who had signed the contract and successfully merged were no longer within the reach of the Spirit God’s control.”

”Command those who had merged to completely cut off the connection of their elementals to the spirit realm. They no longer need to return.”

”Yes, Marshal!” A soldier responded.

In the Barren Lands...

For this new batch of summoners, they cannot be called summoners as they treat their elementals as tools whose only use is to gather elemental energy for them to wield. Those at the barren lands had also noticed the interference of Spirit God. The Evil Beast God Ouroboros also commanded to stop the summoning from before.

Pei Jin said, ”Was that the Spirit God interfering? However, it was too late for him. Those who had undergone merging can no longer return to his realm.”

”We should get ready to attack the borders again. This time it’s for the beast race to enter the fertile lands and make it our own.” Lord Ouroboros, the Evil Beast God said.

Pei Jin asked, ”What should be done about the core region of the Barren Lands. Nothing we had sent there ever returned.”

”Let’s focus on the fertile lands instead. The core region is something we cannot touch for now,” said the Evil Beast God, Ouroboros. ”However, leave a few to watch the changes in that area.”

Coming from within the core region of the barren land, is a pair of divinity that even he fears the most. He doesn’t dare to make a move on it for now unless his strength is considered the peak of this world. They won’t move unless he makes a move on the beastmen race anyway. So he plans to let others do such a deadly move.

—

Back to the Spirit Realm...

The elementals who were summoned back on time and those who were saved thanks to their wills of being against someone they don’t like to control them despite suffering some injuries, they were all able to return to the Spirit Realm. However, many are still not able to return even though the Gods of all spirits had made his move.

{My brethren, those that can be saved had all returned and those who couldn’t, the next time you meet you can only be their enemies. They are no longer spirits under this Lord’s control. Forgive me for failing to save everyone.}

The elementals all kneel in the presence of their king, their ruler and their guardian. There are those who cried whether it was due to happiness or rage. However, they still revered and thanked their Spirit God for saving them.

”Does your majesty know who was doing this? Is it the human race?” An Elemental asked yet the hatred within its voice was clear. This elemental was on the verge of becoming a king ranked. If not for being forcibly summoned and suffering injuries from his struggles he would most likely evolve as an elemental king.

The Spirit God Thorn honestly told them the answer, {It is not the human race but the beast race. They had taken control of most humans in the upper echelon controlling their race worse as puppets. It was unknown whether there are still some pure humans within that race. The one who had caused such a tragedy is none other than the Evil Beast God, Ouroboros. His contracted human had made something that can forcibly control the mind of our race, forcing them to sign a contract and even making them merge with them.}

{Because these elementals were no longer pure elementals, I can no longer summon them all back. They can no longer be saved. The only way to ease their suffering is to kill them. When you meet them on the battlefield, do not hesitate. Hesitation will be your own death, remember this!}

”Are we going to get involved with war in the mortal realm?” An elemental emperor asked.

The God of all spirits, Thorn said, {Yes! We have no other choice. The villain controlling all these events is a destroyer of the world. Once the Mortal Realm falls, the Divine Realm or the Spirit Realm, both these places will be next. That’s why we should stop them in the mortal realm before the destruction reaches our realm.}

An elemental said, ”But your majesty most races in the mortal realm had already fallen. Who are we going to ally ourselves with?”

{The beastman race protects the remnants of the Elven and Dwarven races. Their territory is also not bad as it possessed a rich qi that allows even an elemental to stay within the ancient forest without any problems. If I want an ally powerful enough to fight together with only the Beastmen race and the divine realm are left. However, it was unknown whether the Divine race would descend to stop the progression of world destruction.}

When the Spirit God Thorn mentioned the possibility of world destruction if the Beast race and human race aren’t stopped on time, all elementals finally realized the seriousness of the situation and decided to listen to their ruler more seriously than they should.
