I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2043: 24.304 Sixth Violet Star - The Spirit God Agrees

The unbelievable rewards shocked not only the children but even the Spirit God Thorn who is said to have ruled all spirits in this world. If there is something even a divinity could do, that is resurrecting someone who died in this world. Life was something beyond his control, even the Holy Dragon God who is said to have wielded the strongest light energy is incapable of resurrection. This is a domain that was out of their reach. But now, they found someone who can control even life as well as death itself.

Immortality? There is no immortality on their planet. The gods might be able to live a few hundreds or a few millennia but they couldn’t exist forever.

That’s why the God of Spirits was doubtful of Long Juedi’s words. A reward of reviving both his deceased father and grandfather? Just how long had those two been dead? Can the youngest beastmen prince truly do it? No, that tyrant is a monster that is not originally from here. Maybe resurrection was simple for him. It’s just that he couldn’t believe it.

When his wife died, he had despaired and wanted to kill and destroy everything until he realized that his wife had left him a daughter. That was the only reason he kept living until now. Xue Laira is his life after his wife’s death. That’s why he personally left the most powerful elemental emperor on her side, protecting her always while he cleans up the spirit realm and the other beings that cause the death of his beloved. He even made preparations to bring his daughter to his domain, the spirit realm. But the changes to be made for him to be with his daughter took years to complete and now something is causing destruction everywhere in the mortal realm where his daughter resides. He thought he would change his plans and live in the mortal realm with his daughter after everything was resolved.

Who would have thought that he would find hope and the only chance to revive his wife? But this opportunity would place his daughter in great danger, something he didn’t want to see at all. He is now torn between wanting to revive his wife and his daughter’s safety.

The God of all spirits asked the prophet, {Is it not possible for me to be the one to kill the Evil Beast God?”

”Lord Thorn, you know that is not possible. For an old god to fight against the young god is against the laws of the world. Children can only fight children and adults can only fight adults. Once you enter the borderland, you will give the most dangerous villain a reason to interfere, putting not only your daughter but every child in danger!” Lord Prophet Heri said.

The God of all spirits felt remorse. The chance to revive his beloved is before him. Unfortunately, he is not entitled to fight for it. He felt depressed for a moment and finally made a decision to just leave. He still couldn’t allow his daughter to go to war just for the sake of the reward. His wife would kill him if she knew he had allowed it.

{Pardon me for leaving ahead of time. Excuse us,} said the Spirit God as he reached out to grab the hand of his daughter only to feel resistance from Xue Laira.

Xue Laira avoided her father’s hand and stared at him with reddish eyes and serious expression.

”I am not leaving! Dad, I want to go to the borders. I want to revive mom too! I will go even if you don’t agree!” Xue Laira declared.

Seeing the determined eyes of his daughter, the yearning and seriousness in it. Spirit God Thorn felt complicated in his heart. He realized that even if he doesn’t agree his daughter would most likely sneak out to leave for the borders. After all, her desire to see her mother again outweighs all the danger she knew that she would have to tackle.

The Spirit God Thorn said, {Are you serious about this?}

”If I am half hearted before, right now I am very sure! I want to see mom again! Don’t you want to see her as well, Dad?” Xue Laira said.

The hand that held his daughter’s hand fell back to his side as he reminisced the vivid memories of his beloved in his memories. To make sure he will never forget about the only woman who made his heart beat out of his control.

{I do want to see her but... She would never want it that her daughter would place herself in danger just for her sake. Xue’er, you mom will never agree to...}

”No! Mom will definitely agree if she is in your shoes. Dad, like how much you and I love mom, Mom also loves us the same. Do you think she would fear danger if she knew we could save you?” Xue Laira said.

At these words, the God of all spirits fell in silence. He knew that his daughter was right. But he truly cannot allow his last family to be in danger. He fell deep in his thoughts.

Seeing him like this the Lord Guardian had spoken, ”Have you ever wondered this question? If he can revive dead people, do you think he can’t revive those who just recently died?”

”Don’t speak of death like that!” Prophet Heri scolded his mate for speaking words such as what he had spoken.

Though it was known that the God of Destruction is capable of resurrection, one is still not allowed to treat death that shallow. After all, they are different from the God of Destruction and just mortals with limited lifespan. However, the words the Lord Guardian had spoken had helped the God of all spirits make a decision. He no longer stopped his daughter from going to the borders, even so, he didn’t plan on letting her go so easily like this.

Spirit God Thorn looked at his daughter and said, {If you want to go to the borders I will no longer stop you but... till the day you are destined to head for that place I will train you so hard that you might question your decision. Xue’er, are you ready for hardship?}

Smiling in delight. Xue Laira said, ”I will not back down!”

It was only when the Spirit God heard this response that he decided to take his leave after bidding proper farewell towards the Lord Guardian and the Lord Prophet of the Beastmen race. Xue Laira remains along with the other children as they still need to listen to whatever the Prophet is going to tell them.

Lord Prophet looked at the children and said, ”Since everyone has stayed, it means you’ve already decided to agree with the mission to head to the borders in the future?”

”Yes!”

After hearing that all the children had agreed, Heri looked at his mate. Vega, who knew what he plans to do next, had no other choice but to protect them in the process of the souls being dragged to peek through the memories of the prophet. This is a situation no different from their souls leaving their bodies to journey to somewhere unknown.

The former elf king stood and summoned his Elemental Emperor, the spirit rule of all wind, Greene. Unexpectedly, the Elemental Emperor that rules the forest, Grandpa Tree also appeared with Greene. It seems that the Spirit Lord guessed what they planned to do and sent some help to make sure they are all well protected.

Haerin who seems to have guessed what is going to happen next said, ”Dad, are you going to share your memories with us?!”

Lord Prophet Heri nodded his head and said, ”Yes. For you to be informed and for you to see through your own ending. A future that is destined yet can be changed. However, this change was something you must do on your own. It was never something we can help you with.”

The chosen children finally understand what is going to happen next. A part of their future will be witnessed by them, it would be something like a premonition, something they can use so if they are in danger in that part of the future they can change it themselves.

Lord Heri looked in a certain direction inside the house. It seems someone who was supposed to leave didn’t leave after all. The prophet chose to show it to this being as well, the future that he had seen.

All prophets had the ability to share their memories and within these memories is the future sighting they had seen with their foresight. Lord Heri started chanting and a huge spell circle appeared below his feet spreading it to the children and the other the prophet wanted to share his memories with.

Before they were pulled in the pool of memories of the prophet, Lord Vega, the three great spirits and god had erected a barrier around it. But since they are going to be pulled in as well, the two wardens who were tasked in protecting the village add another barrier above all other barriers. This is not only for protection but also to prevent others from peeking as well. An isolation barrier that protects everything within it. This is something no one from inside the house had noticed and they all unconsciously fell into deep slumber as the spell activated.
