I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2029: 24.290 Sixth Violet Star - Problems with the Elementals

Ancient Forest. The land where the beastmen resides together with the remnants of the elves and dwarfs.

It took a while before the leader of the remnant dwarfs, Garan, was able to leave the bed while he was healing. Thankfully, unlike Captain Vera who almost died, he didn’t get to the point that his life was in danger. With the blessing of the earth elementals they had strengthened his body to the fullest avoiding his internal organs from being completely crushed unlike what happened to Captain Vera. As for his long slumber, the reason for this is because of his disconnection to the land and he was sleeping on a wooden bed instead of the ground. The blessing of the land not only increases one’s defense but also their natural healing of their bodies.

As soon as he healed, he moved from the center of the forest and joined his people at the outer region of the ancient forest. He had talked to his people for the second time asking them what they planned to do about the vassalship. Their race collectively agreed to serve the beastmen race.

Before the Lord Prophet and the Lord Guardian, Garan and his people all kneeled and swore.

{Before the heavens, the dwarf race promised to become the sword and shield of the Royal Beastman race, serving them and supporting them will be everything we got. Please accept us as your family’s vassal, Lord Prophet!}

Lord Prophet Heri smiled at them and even helped Garan stand up. He nods his head in agreement to their request to become a vassal of their family.

”I accept. Captain Garan and everyone please stand up.” The prophet said. ”You may move your living area to the inner region just beside the elves. Welcome to the tribe!”

Actually, accepting the dwarf race as a vassal was something the beastmen race had decided. As long as the dwarf race agrees, they would be accepted as one. Before this ceremony had happened, the beastmen had gathered with Lord Vega and the elves. Like the elves, the entire race of dwarfs in the ancient forest is their race’s exact number. This is a race that was almost destroyed after all. Their population is so small that they can only be considered a tribe rather than a race. That’s how much the dwarfs had suffered in the fall of not only the alliance city but also their own kingdom.

Upon hearing the response from the beastmen royalty, the dwarfs were all delighted. They started cheering on the spot in happiness. While the situation in the ancient forest is getting better, the situation outside the ancient forest isn’t. The humans had started noticing that there seems to be something wrong with the military. Why would they suddenly issue a command that all summoners of the element must report to them?

Despite the bewilderment among the humans, those summoners seem to have never returned home as someone normal. They become obsessed with serving the military to the point that they ignore their own families when their families try to stop them from going to serve the military. These people get angry and violent, leaving their families behind without any second thoughts. A lot of families within the military compound were broken due to this situation. Unfortunately, ordinary people had no means to fight back.

Meanwhile, at the human marshal’s place...

Gu Yang had started avoiding his father who had changed a lot recently. Not only did he hear the screams of those people who came to visit their house, but comes out completely different when they left. Gu Yang felt something about his father’s change. He sometimes no longer acts like a human. He doesn’t eat and enjoys the sugar free coffee. But his father is an adult man who loves sweets.

There is also something that made Gu Yang afraid. He tried to test his family about some secrets only the two of them knew but Marshal Gu Ying didn’t know the answers at all. It was as if he had become a completely different person and is no longer Gu Yang’s father. The last straw had been pulled when he saw what the military had been doing in secret.

They saw them creating a huge, summoning circle for elementals and forced the military men to activate the summoning circle even if the summoners die in the process the soldiers no longer care about them. Their only use is to summon elementals and use up all their qi including their own lives. For this reason alone, Gu Yang starts to believe that the human called Marshal Gu Ying is no longer his father.

One evening Gu Yang had seen something that scared him the most. It was his father who summoned his beast and this summoned beast is no longer how he remembers it. It has become something that is no different from a monster. Moreover, this monster seems to love to eat humans. After witnessing it with his eyes, Gu Yang is now terrified of his own father and escaped the next day when Marshal Gu Ying had left for work.

Gu Yang’s thoughts after escaping from the military compound was only to leave the place which seems to be full of monsters instead of humans. He was able to leave only because his contracted beasts are dark types and he was able to borrow the ability to move through the shadows to leave this place.

After successfully leaving the military compound, Gu Yang learns the truth outside the military compound.

The alliance city which used to be full of happiness and living beings, was now replaced by ruins and feeling of desolation. There is no longer any living being that lives in this place. It was already abandoned to the point that it is no different from a ghost city. The more that Gu Yang saw, the more horrified he became. Clearly, no one had told him about what had happened in the city. He was brought away by his father to that military compound before heading to the borders and ever since then he was forbidden to go to the city. Who would have thought that the days he lives his life peacefully in the military compound would also be the day the city had fallen.

In shock, Gu Yang kneels on the broken street even ignoring the pain on his knees as he looks lost at the city where he grew up.

”Why? Why is this happening? What the hell is happening to this world?”

While Gu Yang is in denial, the situation at the ancient forest suddenly changes. It seems that something about the elementals and how the spirit realm was in chaos is the cause. All the elementals who had signed a contract with the people in the ancient forest had asked their masters to summon them in reality, asking them for help to find the rest of their missing brethren.

Back to the Ancient Forest...

Most of those summoners who can control elementals had sought the Lord Guardian, Vega. It was well known that he is only among the living demigods in the mortal realm who had signed a contract with an Elemental Emperor. If there is an elemental who can seek the audience of their Spirit God only someone of Elemental Emperor Greene can do so.

At the tribe’s meeting hall...

”Lord Guardian, something weird is happening. All of our elementals are clamoring, wanting to meet the Lord Guardian’s elementals.”

”They are all saying that they report it to their superior. But the only superior they knew is Elemental Emperor Lord Greene who had signed a contract with the guardian.”

”Lord Guardian please let our elementals see your elemental. It seems to be an emergency from the Spirit realm side.”

The elemental summoners all begs the Lord Guardian of the ancient forest.

On the other hand, seeing the seriousness of the situation Lord Vega chose to summon his elemental. The Elemental Emperor of the wind, Lord Greene as they wish. The wind in the area gathers, creating a small tornado beside the former elf king Lord Vega and finally one of the Elemental Emperor of the Spirit Realm had descended.

”Greene, please descend to the mortal realm with the contract we had signed together that day.” Lord Vega chanted.

Once the small tornado had dispersed, the gorgeous elemental who controls all the wind in existence had appeared beside Lord Vega. Lord Greene floats around her master and stays behind him as she stares at the stunned elemental summoners before her.

{Speak. What do you wish to tell this emperor?}

In reality, the Elemental Emperor of the Wind, Greene, didn’t get summoned from the Spirit Realm. As she had been staying in the back area of the ancient forest together with their Spirit Realm’s Princess Xue together with the other Elemental Emperor that controls the forest, Grandpa Tree. The reason they haven’t returned to the Spirit Realm is because their God is now in the Mortal Realm living with his daughter.
