I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2009: 24.270 Sixth Violet Star - Truth behind the Hatred

The behind the scene that caused the tragedy of the whole family of Chaos is now being revealed. In Lord Hunluan’s mind, even though they hated his lover, they wouldn’t hate their own grandson. After all, half of his blood was still his and it’s from them. When he was pregnant with Jing’er, the ancient god of origin and end were excited to meet him. Who would have thought that they would suddenly change the moment their child was born? That hidden fear in their eyes when they saw his son for the first time was something he would never forget. At that time, he didn’t think much and because of that carelessness that their son, Jing’er, had suffered a lot in his first life.

This changed in his parents, it can only be something or someone not of their world. How else would they dare touch his son who is born from him who was born from chaos itself. It can be said that among all kinds of power in their cosmos, Chaos is the top contender. Other abilities like dark elements, miasma, gluttony, light, life and something else were just power born from chaos.

The Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan speaks, ”Answer my question. Who was the one that told you something that made you fear my child?”

The Ancient God of Origin and the Ancient God of End hesitated. They didn’t want to answer. However, under that cold gaze as if the abyss had frozen over for a millennia, the two broke down. The danger from the being who told them about their grandson’s identity was far less scary than the anger their only son is showing them at this moment. This is the first time in their lives that they saw such clear emotion in Hunluan.

”I will speak. I will tell you everything you wanted to know.” The Ancient God of End said. ”A few millennia ago, that was before your son was born, we were patrolling around and accidentally walked through the end of our cosmos and saw a new space, or maybe a galaxy or a cosmos itself. It was unknown. But we realized that even the cosmos had an end, a shape as well as color.”

”What we saw was a gorgeous glow of silver or white and there was a huge diamond. It was so big that even us ancient gods felt too small against it. It was then that we realized that it was our cosmos, where our universe was born.”

”Isn’t it ridiculous? We’ve always thought that Chaos is the strongest energy in existence but there is something else out there. Something more powerful than all the energy that we knew about. In there we met him...”

”He called himself a Cosmos Traveller.” Jiewei said.

The Ancient God of Origin spoke, ”He said that beyond the so-called immortality that we knew about is a power that can move through the cosmos. Each cosmos is an accumulation of universes. Universe that is created from galaxies and galaxies created from a group of stars.”

”He said that your son is a reincarnation of a Cosmos Invader and that when he grows up, our cosmos will be taken over by him so...”

”So you tried to kill Jing’er?! Are you two old things insane!? You believe an outsider who calls himself a Cosmos Traveller and never even thought that he might be an invader himself and is trying to find a way to sneak into our cosmos to take over it!” The World Eater totally lost his cool when he heard what these two ancient gods had said.

He was so pissed that he didn’t know if he could hold himself back, killing the two useless old things in front of him.

”Insane! So you two old things are the reason why those parasites are in our cosmos.” Lord An Shizhe said as he couldn’t hold back his cursing.

Seeing the reaction of the World Eater, the two ancient gods realized something. It seems that their son and his other half already knew about the existence of their cosmos and the being beyond it. However, they couldn’t understand why the World Eater is so angry and what do they mean when they said they are the reason why parasites entered their cosmos? The more they hear the bigger their confusion is.

They cannot receive any answer from the World Eater who is about to go crazy in anger and can only move their gaze to their son. A rare frown and hint of fatigue appeared on his face. They saw him sitting back on the seat behind him holding his temples.

Sigh~

”Are you confused about what Shizhe is talking about?” Lord Hunluan said.

The Ancient God of End, Jiewei nods his head and starts asking, ”What does he mean it was our fault? Are those parasites he is talking about... Are they Cosmos Invaders?”

”Our cosmos guardian’s avatar was killed and this gave an opportunity for the invaders to send a few of their kind and maybe their avatars in our cosmos. In the last world we come from, we met an invader, he is from another cosmos and he possessed an ability to suppress even me. Do I need to say even more for you to understand the situation?” The Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan said.

Upon observing the paling face of the two ancient gods, the regret, guilt and remorse flashing within their eyes, it seems that they finally realized what they have done.

The Ancient God of Origin, Qiyuan said, ”Our Cosmos Guardian’s avatar killed... Is he.... Is he your son? Your son is the Guardian of our Cosmos?”

”... It seems you are not that foolish after all.” Lord Hunluan commented. ”The thing you fed A’Zhe to make him go crazy before... that might be a hint of cosmos energy from the invaders.”

”Congratulations! You had not only caused invaders to enter our home but also killed your grandson and son-in-law with your own hands. Not only that, you’ve even plotted to kill him multiple times. Are you happy?”

The Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan asked them with a small smile on his face. To see someone who is well known for his icy expression and lack of emotion to finally smile at this moment shows how much the latter is trying to hold back his disdain and anger towards these two ancient gods. The Ancient God of Origin and End were speechless that not even a single word came out of their mouth after being questioned like this.

Silence

Seeing the two ancient gods seems broken and all, the world eater who was about to lose himself in anger instantly calmed down when he felt his wife’s anger and saw the reaction of the two old things he can never meet eye to eye too. They who thought they were protecting the world where their child is in, unexpectedly become the traitors who could have caused the destruction of their whole cosmos.

Though it seems that their son, the God of Destruction, didn’t seem to see those outsiders as a real threat, just the fact that these beings who weren’t supposed to enter appeared meant that his first death had become an opportunity to those invaders. It was unknown how many of them are still hiding in the stars inside their cosmos or what they planned to do now that they had entered.

The Ancient God of Chaos and his partner, the World Eater, prepare to leave.

Lord Hunluan said before walking away, ”I don’t know what is the suitable punishment for you. Even though I wanted to end you, it wasn’t in my hand to decide what your punishment should be. I will leave it to Jing’er what must be done to you two. Until then... Stay within that prison and spend your days together.”

Snap

Clang!

With a snap of the fingers of the Ancient God of Chaos, the chains that restrained the two had disappeared. However, the two ancient gods didn’t even make a move to escape. Even if they tried to, trying to leave their current prison is almost impossible. Lord Hunluan and Lord An Shizhe took their leave and bumps on the two children who were waiting for them outside.

The Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan said to the two children.

”Though I have cut off your connections to our children, the fact that you were a part of them will never be erased. If they wish to spare you then that is good but... Even if they tried to erase you I will be able to bring you back. So live your life as you wish.” Lord Hunluan said to the soul fragments of the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

”Yes. Thank you so much for sparring us, Lord Chaos.” Xue Hunluan and Tun Shizhe said.

They watch as the figures of the two ancient gods take their leave from the world they are currently in.
