Beneath the Red Dragon

Then a dragon horn mark appeared on the forehead of the High Tier Mage Lu Man, identical to the two horns on the head of the young Red Dragon Kedelos.

Anyone who attempts to break the contract on the High Tier Mage will suffer a backlash from the power of the Red Dragon’s bloodline.

”Not bad, it seems today is indeed my lucky day,” the young Red Dragon Keidelos retracted his claws, ignoring the ruined expression on the face of High Tier Mage Lu Man,

and looked towards the Jackal-Wolf Man next to him, saying: ”Let’s go, take me to find those giant dragons. Today, I will defeat them all and trample them underfoot. If you perform well, Jackal-Wolf Man, I permit you to live.”

Jackal Wolfman Leader Yougu smiled, looking towards the horizon where a crimson white line slashed through the sky, coming with a boundless thunderous roar.

He could see high in the air layer upon layer of white clouds being torn apart by this crimson white line, and the tumultuous winds falling far behind this crimson line, with the white line trailing like the tail flame of the crimson line.

Initially, the sound was faint, but the rolling thunder was like bolts ringing through the clouds.

The next moment, it reached their ears, exploding with a rumble that arrived before the dragon itself.

Even the young Red Dragon Kedelos noticed this commotion, raising his head to gaze at the sky.

His eyes, sharper than those of a sky eagle, watched the impending wave-like sky.

He failed to notice the quiet murmur from Jackal Wolfman Leader Yougu’s mouth: ”No need to go, he has brought the dragon group, Kedelos, don’t be afraid!”

The young Red Dragon Kedelos saw the true form of the crimson line that slashed the sky.

It was a red dragon, more beautiful, more fierce, more magnificent than himself, though he was reluctant to admit it in his heart.

The red dragon’s flaming body pierced through the air barrier, its broad wings breaking the wind resistance for the dragon group behind.

Dragons of many hues surged in following the red giant dragon’s wings.

Red, white, blue, black, green, and even a copper-brown giant dragon.

The young Red Dragon couldn’t help but open his mouth; even with the strength of youth, Kedelos couldn’t help but be awed by the formation of the dragon group charging forward.

”Damn it, there’s actually a Red Copper Dragon among the Five-Color Dragons. What kind of strange lineup is this? Such a situation could only be seen in ancient times when giant dragons ruled the sky and earth,”

The young Red Dragon Kedelos spread his wings to rise into the air, though he felt his strength far surpassed the opponent’s, he wouldn’t foolishly stand there and take the dragon group’s charge.

He wanted to take the initiative to attack; as long as he could take down the arrow of the dragon group’s formation, that pathetic red dragon, the entire formation would collapse on its own.

Whoosh,

The young Red Dragon Kedelos swirled up gusts of wind, flapping his broad wings to accelerate, while taking deep breaths, brewing a terrifying dragon breath.

After evolving from dormancy, the dragon breath exhaled by the young Red Dragon had dramatically increased in power, now considered a high-level dragon breath.

Under the scorching of the high-level dragon breath, even a Lord of Fire Elements would be harmed.

The young Red Dragon Kedelos didn’t think the opposing young Red Dragon would withstand his dragon breath, though that young Red Dragon’s physique was unusually large.

But every giant dragon could roughly discern the age stage of a giant dragon, not only by looking at the dragon’s body traits but also through a unique sense shared among true dragons.

Whoosh,

Accelerating at maximum speed, the young Red Dragon’s body glowed with firelight, covered in sulfurous gas steaming from its scales.

He was like a cannonball from a heavy cannon, rapidly charging through the air, aiming straight for the triangular wedge formation of the dragon group.

From the ground, only the mage and Jackal-Wolf Man could see that although the young Red Dragon’s speed was extremely fast, compared to the dragon group’s formation, it seemed somewhat slow, like an old car rushing towards a speeding heavy truck.

The impact of both sides was getting closer, the momentum of the dragon group’s charge growing more formidable, the whole formation under Karon’s lead even speeding up slightly.

As the dragon group passed, winds surged, countless dense and tall trees getting snapped by the wind, like a huge serpent path crushed by an enormous python.

”It’s getting close, close enough,” the young Red Dragon Kedelos mustered the magic power within him.

Just as he was about to close in on the dragon group’s formation, he prematurely unleashed his dragon flame filled with destruction and incineration, turning everything to ashes.

Rolling dragon fire, a reddish near-dark red dragon flame spewed from the young Red Dragon’s mouth.

The fierce breaking wind mixed with the crackling sound of air combusting and shattering, dragon fire rushed towards the dragon group.

In the eyes of those on the ground, the air was also twisted and burst by the scorching dragon fire, explosive vortexes crackling with thunderous power in the sky.

Some mage apprentices even covered their ears with their hands to dampen the terrifying sound.

The next moment, an enormous magic shield enveloped all the giant dragons in the dragon group.

The vast magic shield surged with magic power originating from the few High Tier Mages led by the Squinting Mage firmly fixed on Red Copper Dragon Alfred.

Pop, pop,

The young Red Dragon’s dragon fire exploded in a violent reaction upon contact with the magic shield, like blazing fire meeting boiling hot oil, the collision consuming each other rapidly, making crackling explosive sounds.

Karon then flipped his body; he was far more agile compared to other dragons, soaring up to avoid a direct collision with the young Red Dragon and the young Red Dragon’s lunging claws.

And the dragon group behind, at his command, scattered to the sides, sweeping past the young Red Dragon’s body on both sides.

Roaring, Karon extended his claws imbued with the power of heart energy.

In an instant, missing the young Red Dragon Kedelos’s body, his claws, sharp like enchanted armor-piercing weapons, tore through the scales on the back of the young Red Dragon, creating a long, deep gash.

Dragons passing by both sides of the young Red Dragon also attacked; Green Dragon Antajena and Black Dragon Rosani, though grown stronger, were relatively weak compared to the young Red Dragon.

Their claws scratched along the young Red Dragon’s sides, only leaving white marks, failing to breach the young Red Dragon’s defenses.

But White Dragon Gomot and White Dragon Camid were much smarter; Gomot because he was truly smart,

and Camid because, although the weakest among the Five-Color Dragons, White Dragons possessed the finest hunting skills. This was evident from the dragon group’s first hunt of the Wild Boar King during their youth stage.

The two White Dragons’ claws shredded the young Red Dragon’s wings, tearing them like tattered sails.

Blue Dragon Akzhi and Blue Dragon Doss, in the instant they missed the young Red Dragon, not only extended their claws but also sprayed their lightning dragon breath onto the young Red Dragon, flowing over his body through his scales.

Only the young Red Copper Dragon Alfred, though unable to defeat the young Red Dragon in direct confrontation, his claws and strength were sufficient to rip through the body of the young Red Dragon, leaving wounds on his right side not inferior to those created by Karon.

This series of actions occurred in an instant, and within this moment, the young Red Dragon Kedelos’s body suffered severe trauma.

Wounds on his back and sides instantly gushed with boiling dragon blood, making the once confident young Red Dragon roar in agony.

And the damage to his wings made it difficult to maintain his body’s balance, still streaking forward.

In the next instant, like a wounded Peng Bird, he plummeted, scattering dragon blood across the sky.
