Beneath the Red Dragon

The elderly, women, and children in logistics ranked last in the lineup; they didn’t need to engage in heavy physical labor, so all resources had to be allocated to the main members of the Pioneer Corps.

In these days, the little girl Nora had tanned, and with a full meal every day, her body grew as quickly as willow branches in spring.

Holding two large bowls, she stretched them towards a pot larger than herself, trying hard to reveal her head covered with fluffy, yellowed hair, her bright black eyes staring at the Kobold guard serving the food.

Her small skinny cheeks already showed signs of cheekbones, but she still managed to squeeze out a smile and called out, ”Uncle Kobold, is there any meat left? I want a piece of magical beast meat for my grandma. They say it’s good for the body, even just a small shred would do!”

The Dogman Soldier glanced at the long line behind her, rolled his eyes somewhat impatiently, and said, ”Move along, move along, don’t block the way of those behind you,”

The long iron ladle gently scooped up, and Nora just felt her little hand sink as a big chunk of meat with some bones was dumped into the bowl. Her smile quickly widened, and she hurriedly expressed her thanks before running off.

Nora carried the two full bowls to her elderly grandmother, then shredded the meat into fine pieces and fed it to her grandmother.

The elderly grandmother ate the minced meat and drank half a bowl of meat soup, instantly feeling a warm flow within her body seemingly replenishing what little life energy she had left, and her usually blurred vision became a bit clearer.

The elderly grandmother took a breath, her eyes brighter than ever as she looked at her young granddaughter. During this time, not only did Nora need to tend to her sheep herding duties, but she also had to take on her own tasks.

She also had to care for her elderly self, the burden on her shoulders was too heavy, causing even some white hair to sprout among Nora’s fluffy, yellow hair.

She sniffed, letting her already lighter body stand up, and a rosy glow, unseen for a long time, appeared on her cheeks. ”Nora, that’s enough, you eat now. I’m already full, and I feel my body has become lighter. Thanks to the blessing of the great Dragon Lord, maybe I can accompany you for a longer time, little Nora, and watch you live a good life.”

The little girl nodded happily, a smile appearing on her face. ”That’s great! Lady Alina said that as long as I raise the flock well, for every three lambs born, I’ll get one lamb as a reward. This way, we’ll soon live a good life!”

Whew,

The clouds above the sky were shattered by the Red Dragon, dissipating, as Karon patrolled the edge of the Dragon Group Territory, intimidating various beasts and tribes nearby.

Bay Stream City was crucial in his plan, serving as a temporary southern gateway of the Dragon Group Territory, guarding the southern boundary of the territory.

In the future, the Dragon Group Territory would continue to establish new cities along all its borders, enclosing the territory within a complete defensive circle to allow peaceful development within the territory.

The Giant Dragon Song or Giant Dragon Ode he brought this time, jointly revised with the Dragon Group, was crafted based on the Giant Dragon heritage and the stories circulating in the Endless World.

A normal kingdom would need historical records to prove its legitimacy and garner the recognition of citizens within the kingdom. In the following process, records of the kingdom’s development history, founding history, and the life records of the kingdom’s rulers, among other historical documents, would be required, along with naming of reign titles, calendars, and other related procedures.

And the Giant Dragon Song is the beginning of everything; it will lead the rule of the Dragon Group towards legitimacy, no longer being one of those wild Monster Kingdoms. In broader terms, it could also be seen as a declaration of Giant Dragon dominion over the world.

With the gradual fermentation of the Giant Dragon Song, Karon could justifiably claim that the Dragon God’s orthodoxy lies in Aikania without exaggeration.

As long as the rule of the Giant Dragons attains legitimacy, future interactions or confrontations with human nations will not see them as chaotic monster evil nations. With righteousness supporting them, Karon and the Dragon Group will be hard to siege jointly; it will just depend on whose means are tougher.

Those Metal Dragons also cannot arbitrarily pin some nonexistent charges on Karon and the Dragon Group because, in the Giant Dragon Song, flattery was given to the Platinum Dragon God, and those Metal Dragons still have to consider their boss’s opinion.

This is part of Karon’s preparation for the future. Although the Endless Mountain Range, a dangerous monster congregation place, blocks Dragon Group Territory from direct links with human nations, being prepared for a rainy day will never be wrong.

In Karon’s vision, the Giant Dragon Song would become the national anthem appearing in all major celebrations within the territory in the future.

Karon will not prematurely establish a so-called Giant Dragon Kingdom or inaugurate a state title; only when every city in the Giant Dragon Territory sings the Giant Dragon Song naturally will the kingdom under the Giant Dragon rule be established.

Moreover, within the Giant Dragon Song, there is lavish praise for Platinum Dragon King Bahamut, Five-Colored Dragon Queen Tiamat, and Gem Dragon God Sadivo, subtly requesting some attention from these busy Dragon Gods for their little brother.

An opportunity to gain benefits just by flattering a bit, Karon wouldn’t find it disgraceful to the Dragons; rather, he’d say it’s not enough.

In any case, as long as Karon develops to a certain extent, the kingdom of the Giant Dragons will inevitably attract the attention of several Dragon Gods. The Red Dragon is not worried about the gaze of the God of Evil Dragons Tiamat either.
