I Am Not A Goblin Slayer

According to the skill panel’s level division, Dale’s Magic Missile should be at lv3 mid-level.

Although it’s far from his Magic Missile lv5 proficiency level, it’s already quite rare for an ordinary caster.

It can be seen that she indeed has some talent in the spell of Magic Missile, no wonder she stepped forward proactively.

”Next, let me demonstrate it.”

Gauss didn’t take out a Magic Wand. In theory, he didn’t even need to make any casting gestures, but to make it more intuitive for the students, he still raised his arm.

The next moment, a Missile glowing with strong Magic Power instantly formed in front of him.

”Boom!”

Clearly, he didn’t infuse much Magic Power, but this Magic Missile still shot out like a cannonball, at least twice the speed of the one Dale released earlier.

”Bang!” It landed on the target, which shook violently a couple of times before absorbing the destructive effect of the Missile.

”So strong...”

Standing beside Gauss, Dale’s hair was blown up, but she didn’t care, just looking at Gauss with a surprised expression.

”Did you really not use an advanced spellcasting?”

This destructive power could be mistaken for a 2nd-level Spell, and no one would doubt it.

”No, on the contrary, I used less Magic Power than you did.”

”However, this involves issues of spell proficiency and Magic Power intensity.”

Gauss shook his head.

He has specialty bonuses, [Spell Mastery] [Master of Stable Spellcasting], and also racial talent [Dragon Kind] enhancing him, spell proficiency reaching lv5, and Magic Power intensity far above ordinary casters, thus achieving an effect comparable to an advanced spell using downgraded power.

Returning to the guidance, Gauss concentrated for a moment, recalling some details and habits from her casting just now, his brain functioning rapidly.

Quickly, he developed a method for adjustments.

After simply stating his scheme, he looked at Dale and said.

”According to what I said, try it again?”

”Don’t worry, I’ll dispel your magic if something happens.”

A few days ago, Gauss specifically learned a 3rd-level Spell [Dispel Magic] just for class needs. Although it’s part-time, Gauss didn’t treat it lightly.

”Okay.”

In truth, casually adjusting spell models is a very dangerous act for a caster.

Even more so as an outsider, just by watching her casting process once, he quickly gave an adjustment plan.

But for some reason, listening to Gauss’s steady voice, she subconsciously chose to trust him.

Standing nearby, Evelyn the teacher saw this scene and hesitated to speak.

However, ultimately didn’t say anything.

Dale took a deep breath, going over some of the adjustment points Gauss just explained in her mind, then slowly raised her Magic Wand.

”Magic Missile!”

This time, the casting speed was noticeably slower. Clearly, she needed to pay attention to some details, so her Magic Power flow was somewhat clumsy.

A blue orb slowly formed at her wand tip, visibly smaller than the first time she released it.

The orb trembled twice, just when everyone thought it would fail.

”Whoosh!”

The Magic Missile successfully shot out in the astonished eyes of many students, exploding into a halo of blue light on the target.

Succeeded?!

Even Dale, who released the Missile, was full of disbelief.

She looked down at the wand in her hand.

Seemingly not expecting everything to go so smoothly.

Then, she remembered, it was Gauss beside her who deserved credit.

Clearly, he only saw her demonstrate the Missile once, but he seemed to understand her own body and Magic Power better than she did, simply incomprehensible.

This time, Dale was completely convinced.

”Professor Gauss, you’re amazing!”

Gauss dissipated the Magic Power of the [Dispel Magic] he had prepared, shaking his head.

”It’s your own mastery of the Magic Missile that allowed you to succeed on the first try.”

”I just provided a little bit of assistance.”

Replacing her with a student around lv2 proficiency, it would certainly be impossible to succeed on the first attempt.

”Keep practicing more, remember this feeling.”

”Alright, thank you, Professor,” Dale said gratefully.

Always smiling without speaking, Aaliyah knew Gauss was very skilled in teaching.

However, unlike these students who could only occasionally enjoy it, they, as his own people, could receive his guidance every day.

Seeing this, other students hurriedly came forward to ask for guidance.

”One at a time.”

With the Dragon Kind’s clear Perception of Magic Power and expert grasp of the Magic Missile spell, Gauss quickly provided targeted guidance for the body conditions and Magic Power intensity of each individual.

With his help, many students gradually mastered the technique of using downgraded Magic Bullet casting.

Of course, there were also failures, but before any Magic Power abnormalities occurred, Gauss dismantled the magical effect on the students with [Dispel Magic] at the first opportunity.

However, almost all the students mastered this technique.

Essentially, the difficulty of technique casting isn’t high, its difficulty lies in the understanding of this spell, and how to make adjustments for different people.

In the distance, upstairs, the vice-principal Kieran Xavier quietly watching this scene couldn’t help but nod approvingly.

As expected, it was worthwhile to hire Gauss at a high salary, even compared to Gauss’s ”magic cure” teaching effect, he thought the salary was too low.

At least, he himself couldn’t achieve the same teaching effect as Gauss.
