Wizard: Scamming a Demon God

Chapter 452: Chapter 336: Isaac: To Hell with Solomon, I’m Going to the New World!

Paradise.

This name first appeared around two thousand years ago. Back then, aside from the Deities, there was no rule yet forbidding powerhouses of Tier Four and above from operating in the Real World.

Consequently, Wizards and Knights, who could unleash their full power in the Real World, nearly drove the Divine Churches to extinction!

The Wizards were especially ruthless!

Back then, the Wizards would frequently band together and use the Churches in the Real World as conduits to hunt and capture Deities en masse.

Faced with this predicament, the Deities, though outmatched in raw power, had no intention of surrendering. Confronted by the relentless pressure from the Wizards and Knights, the Deities steeled themselves for a drastic measure. Emulating the grand feats of the Great Wizards, they sacrificed half their own power to introduce a new world rule, optimizing the way the Real World functioned.

Their efforts proved remarkably successful. They managed to recapture the Wizards’ attention, forcing the Wizards to take them seriously once more. This ultimately led to a truce, creating the current state of affairs.

And that rule was something Isaac knew well from the novels of his past life: the Magic Tide!

The Magic Tide, as its name suggests, is the periodic ebb and flow of Magic Power, much like the ocean’s tide. This was undoubtedly a devastating blow to all Transcendents in the Real World, be they Wizards or Knights!

Moreover, the Magic Tide was just the first step. Building upon it, if the Deities were willing to pay the price of all their power, they could have completely eradicated Magic Power from the Real World!

But things never went that far. Wielding the Magic Tide as a weapon gave the Deities the leverage they needed to negotiate with the Wizards, and so, the War between the Deities and the Wizards finally came to an end.

The Deities’ Faith could be spread freely throughout the Real World, but it was not to interfere with the Knights’ governments or the Wizards’ dissemination of Knowledge.

However, even though the conflict had ceased, the Magic Tide did not. While it had been the Deities’ ultimate weapon against the Wizards, one thing was certain: the periodic fluctuation of Magic Power was beneficial for the world itself.

Therefore, after much research and discussion, the Great Wizards jointly established a new rule. It bound all Transcendents of Tier Four and above, forbidding them from casually unleashing their full power in the Real World. This was especially true for Legendary Mages, who were barred from even conducting large-scale magical experiments, their only exception being the arrangement of a Miracle Ceremony.

Their calculations showed that if high-energy activity in the Real World was limited to the level of Tier Three beings, the amplitude of the Magic Tide could be significantly reduced.

Even when magic levels reached their lowest ebb, Wizards at Tier Three and below would remain unaffected.

Of course, this alone wasn’t enough. For one thing, while the Magic Tide’s amplitude had been reduced, the threat it posed to Wizards still remained. For another, the Wizard Civilization was advancing at an incredible rate. Every High-tier Mage possessed a long lifespan; in fact, from Tier Three onward, a Wizard no longer had to worry about mortality at all.

Over such a long period, the number of Wizards above Tier Three had reached an astonishing level. With so many High-tier Mages, the cumulative magical impact of even their most minor experiments was enormous.

Yet, they couldn’t be forbidden from conducting research, as that would be tantamount to severing the future path of the Wizards!

Thus, the Wizards turned their gaze beyond the Real World!

The Boundless Void contained innumerable Little Worlds, some of them even rivaling the Real World in scale.

Of course, that was two thousand years ago. Now, according to the latest survey report from the Truth Association, the Real World is the largest material world within the known sphere of exploration.

The only known realms larger than the Real World are the Endless Abyss and the various Dimension Worlds of the Demon Gods!

However, while those two are larger in scope, the completeness of their fundamental laws pales in comparison to the Real World.

As these powerhouses turned their attention to the Little Worlds outside and brought back vast quantities of resources and Knowledge, a great age of Otherworld development began!

Some led armies in direct invasions, some infiltrated them slowly, some refined entire Little Worlds for their power, and others played the part of a savior, leading a whole world to ascension...

In short, the endless resources and Knowledge within the Boundless Void offered Wizards and Knights countless possibilities. Wave after wave of powerhouses began to focus their efforts there.

With this influx of countless resources and Knowledge, the Real World itself was further Enhanced. Nowadays, even at the lowest point of the Magic Tide, there is little effect on Tier Four Mages.

Of course, even so, these powerhouses kept their focus on the worlds beyond, only returning to the Real World on rare occasions.

And so, the Real World slowly came to be known as ”Paradise.”

Now, although Tier Four Powerhouses are no longer required to operate solely within the Void, it has become an unwritten rule that most adhere to.

Therefore, after reading the information in the Magic Book, Isaac made an instant decision. ’To hell with returning to Solomon! I’m going to explore a New World!’

”Phew...”

After reading and organizing all the information, Isaac let out a long breath. He was incredibly excited about the New World, but now was not the time to go.

Traveling to a New World was extremely dangerous for a Mad Witch like him. It meant leaving the protection of the Real World, where Outer Gods could attack him at will. That was why Mad Witches had to use a form of Magic called the Star Realm Gate to enter the Boundless Void.

It would hide the traces of any other Outer God Power he carried, making it easier for him to move about unnoticed.

Besides, he had only just returned to his domain and hadn’t yet had a chance to see how everyone had progressed. Furthermore, the Endless Tower had just concluded, seeing the fall and rise of numerous powerhouses. Although they rarely operated in the Real World, that didn’t mean they lacked influence.

It was clear that a great storm was about to sweep through the Real World.

He needed to remain in the Real World until that storm passed.

Fortunately, his trip to the Endless Tower had allowed him to greatly refine his Virtual Divinity technique. The birth of the God of Imaginary Numbers Maxu Kant, in particular, would allow him to harness the power of a Dimension World and send it ahead into the Boundless Void to gather intelligence on the New World for him.

Only after gathering that intelligence could he formulate a mission: would it be one of development or one of plunder...

Isaac placed the Magic Book back on the table. He looked up at the others, a faint smile on his face. ”Everyone, it’s been a while. I’m very pleased. You’ve all made great progress.”
