A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 274: Chapter 274: Mr. Grant is a Beast (2)

Terrence Grant’s expression darkened. ’It seems I really don’t have any place in her heart at all!’ His heart sank. It looked like he still had a long road ahead of him; coaxing this girl into marrying him was going to be an arduous campaign! ’I have no special place in her heart whatsoever!’

’It would be one thing if I just didn’t have a special place, but she actually brought another man into the picture!’ Terrence Grant felt his mood sour completely. ”What’s the deal with Wyatt Gallagher? When did you go and get me a love rival?”

”Wyatt Gallagher? What does he have to do with you! He can say whatever he wants; I can’t control it if he says he likes me! Besides, you’re not my boyfriend. Don’t you get tired of meddling so much? Even if you were my boyfriend, you still couldn’t control what other people think!”

Seraphina Sterling was truly exasperated. ’Isn’t his jealousy a little over the top? And completely unreasonable, too!’

”It’s true I’m not your boyfriend right now, but I will be your future husband! Any man who has designs on you is my enemy! And when it comes to my enemies, I never show mercy!”

A cold glint flashed in Terrence Grant’s eyes. If he had an axe in his hands at that moment, he would absolutely take it to every single unwanted suitor buzzing around her and cut them down!

Seraphina Sterling was startled by the dangerous undertone in his voice and quickly said, ”Don’t you go after Wyatt Gallagher! I’m sure he was just speaking on impulse. We’ve only met twice, and we’ve spent less than twelve hours together in total! How could he possibly have fallen for me?”

The color in Terrence Grant’s eyes deepened. ’When it comes to matters of the heart, you can never tell. Sometimes, all it takes is a single glance to fall in love! Even a man like me, who’s usually indifferent to women, was captivated by her—let alone a guy like Wyatt Gallagher, who’s her age!’ ”Seraphina, you underestimate your own charm.”

’That’s the second time I’ve heard that today!’

”And for the sake of argument, even if Wyatt Gallagher does like me, that’s my business! You can’t make things difficult for him! You have no right to make things difficult for him!” Seraphina Sterling warned, extremely worried. ’Wyatt Gallagher helped me tonight. I can’t let him get dragged through the mud for no reason because of me!’

”No right? You’re telling me I have no right?!” As he spoke, Terrence Grant kissed her again. He was about to lose his mind with anger. ’She really said I have no right? She’s that worried about him! Cares about him that much! What’s so great about that Wyatt Gallagher? He’s just a doctor! Is he really worth her defending him like this? Warning me, over and over!’

Terrence Grant was furious. He’d taken his eyes off her for just a few days, and suddenly there was another man in her heart! He kissed her frantically. Seraphina Sterling felt the air being squeezed from her lungs, but he still wouldn’t let go. She instinctively pushed against his powerful body, and in the struggle, they tumbled onto her soft, large bed.

Originally, Terrence Grant had only wanted to punish this disobedient girl for letting another man get close, but Zeke Thorne was no longer satisfied with a simple kiss.

In the pitch-black night, ”Terrence Grant—” Seraphina Sterling felt his body trembling, his skin feverishly hot, and realized things were getting out of hand.

Her soft cry was like a bucket of cold water poured over Terrence Grant’s head, stopping him in his tracks. There was no passion in her gentle voice; she was perfectly lucid, even as he was already lost in the moment, unable to pull back.
