You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

338: Section 338Just now, they still found Ji Pang’s arrogance hard to comprehend, unaware that they had initially been the same towards Wang Mo and Junzi Group.

As Li Wenqiu finished speaking, the room fell silent once more.

After a long pause, Manager Ma finally spoke slowly, “Actually, we don’t need to be too anxious.”

“League of Legends has only been in open beta for less than twenty days.”

“It’s still uncertain whether its initial player count can even reach three million.”

“The players’ reputation might have been inflated by League of Legends itself; it might not actually have that many players.”

“Although Manager Ma, your previous estimate for League of Legends’ initial daily active users was three million, that was already a very exaggerated figure. Zheng Haidi also made an estimate for League of Legends’ initial daily active users, and the number he gave was only one million.”

“To be honest,” Manager Ma paused and looked at Ma Liuyun, “Even in my opinion, the number three million is a bit too exaggerated.”

“League of Legends might indeed surpass Dota, but to defeat Dota right after its launch is still somewhat unlikely.”

“Actually, I lean more towards Zheng Haidi’s prediction.”

After Manager Ma finished speaking, Zheng Haidi also said, “Exactly.”

“I’ve always felt that League of Legends’ initial daily active users would be at most one million; I always thought Ma Liuyun’s prediction was too exaggerated.”

“To keep Ji Pang on alert, there’s no need for us to tell him this exaggerated number.”

“The previous bet still stands.”

Zheng Haidi looked at Ma Liuyun, “League of Legends’ initial daily active users absolutely cannot exceed two million.”

Listening to Manager Ma and Zheng Haidi, Ma Liuyun couldn’t help but take a deep breath.

“I might have indeed overestimated this data.”

“But one million is definitely too low.”

After Ma Liuyun finished speaking, seeing that Zheng Haidi still wanted to say something, Manager Ma directly interrupted him.

Manager Ma also slowly began to put away the documents in front of him, preparing to get up and leave.

“Alright, meeting adjourned.”

“League of Legends should still be in the daily active user decline phase and hasn’t stabilized yet, so we’re not in a hurry.”

“If you want to argue, wait until League of Legends’ daily active users data is released.”

As scattered sounds arose, everyone began to tidy up the documents on their desks.

And just at this moment, the office door was suddenly pushed open by an employee.

“Mr. Ma,” the person’s expression was not very good, “League of Legends’ official Weibo just suddenly released their stable daily active user data!”

Chapter 263: Ten Million Daily Active Users? Penguin Group Internally Shocked!

Listening to this person’s words, everyone present was stunned.

Because according to the current rate of daily user loss for League of Legends, it would still take several days for League of Legends’ daily active users to drop to two or three million.

How could League of Legends’ official Weibo release the daily active user data so early?

“Are you sure?”

“Based on our previous experience, League of Legends should still be in the daily active player decline phase, right?”

“How could the data already be public?”

Looking at the employee who entered, Manager Ma subconsciously spoke.

The thoughts of others in the room were similar to Manager Ma’s.

It had only been a week since League of Legends’ large-scale promotional activities ended, so how could League of Legends’ daily active players have already stabilized?

Facing everyone’s gaze, the employee who had just entered also couldn’t help but take a deep breath.

“653” Then he nodded firmly, “I’m not joking.”

“Just now, League of Legends has already announced its stable daily active user performance on major social platforms, and it has also been synchronized on all other overseas social media.”

Upon hearing this, Manager Ma frowned again.

“It shouldn’t be this fast, should it?”

He looked at the person who came in, “How much data did League of Legends announce?”

“Is it around three million as Ma Liuyun estimated before, or around one million as Zheng Haidi estimated?”

Although everyone was still unclear why League of Legends’ latest performance had come out so quickly, it was still necessary to know the number first.

And the other people within Penguin Group also knew Ma Liuyun and Zheng Haidi’s previous estimates for this number.

That’s why Manager Ma asked this way.

And facing Manager Ma’s inquiry, the employee took a deep breath, then directly shook his head.

Seeing this, everyone was stunned.

“What do you mean?” Manager Ma asked.

And this person swallowed, “This number is not within the predictions of Manager Zheng and Manager Ma.”

“Neither of them correctly estimated League of Legends’ initial daily active user performance.”

Hearing this, both of them were stunned.

Zheng Haidi even laughed directly, “Could it be that this number isn’t even one million?”

“I said Junzi Group wasn’t very good; how could this game surpass Dota?”

“Quickly, tell me, what exactly is this number?”

Just as Zheng Haidi burst into laughter, the employee at the door’s face became even more difficult to look at.

He shook his head, “League of Legends Yan Country server’s initial daily active user data has stabilized at ten million.”

As soon as these words came out, the conference room instantly became incredibly quiet, not a sound could be heard. Zheng Haidi’s smile instantly froze on his face, and everyone present looked towards this person, their expressions also somewhat frozen.

The temperature in the entire room seemed to have dropped by more than ten degrees because of this.

Immediately, everyone suspected whether they had misheard.

Because the data they had just heard was simply too exaggerated.

One must know.
