You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

278: Section 278“You know some inside information, don’t you?”

“Is there a major game developer preparing to launch a new MOBA game to challenge Dota, and also planning to make a move in this esports industry?”

After listening,

Wang Mo clicked his tongue.

“You got one thing wrong.”

“There isn’t any other major game developer preparing to challenge Dota.”

Hearing this, Ye Youxue was a little confused.

“Then what do you mean?”

“You just said so much, I thought you knew there would be a MOBA game more suitable for me.”

Wang Mo smiled.

“The things I just mentioned don’t conflict with each other.”

Upon hearing this, Ye Youxue’s face once again showed a bewildered expression.

“Senior, what exactly do you mean?”

“Since no other major game developer is preparing to challenge Dota, isn’t everything you said afterwards invalid?”

After Ye Youxue finished speaking, Wang Mo took a deep breath.

“There are no other major game developers.”

“But there is our Junzi Group.”

Wang Mo paused.

“After Meituan Takeaway,”

“The next software I’m going to create,”

“Will be a brand new MOBA game.”

“And I will also use this game to establish an unprecedented, global, top-tier esports event.”

While Wang Mo’s voice was still echoing,

Ye Youxue’s surprise had already spread across her entire face.

She had never expected that what Wang Mo was talking about was him developing such a game.

No wonder there were no other major game developers.

And listening to Wang Mo’s words, Ye Youxue also couldn’t help but take a deep breath, preparing to say something.

Because she herself knew.

The difficulty of developing such a large-scale game was not comparable to the small Honor of Kings from before.

The difficulty of developing mobile games and PC games is completely different; even the development platforms are different.

Moreover, the field Wang Mo wanted to challenge already had the formidable presence of Dota.

It was indeed too difficult to try and surmount the mountain that is Dota.

However,

Just as Ye Youxue was feeling a bit worried about Wang Mo’s move, she suddenly met Wang Mo’s gaze.

Looking into Wang Mo’s eyes, Ye Youxue paused, then chuckled softly, dispelling all the thoughts she had just had in her mind.

···········Please give flowers

She could not trust anyone.

How could she not trust the person in front of her?

The next second,

Ye Youxue held out a finger to Wang Mo.

“Pinky promise, promise me that this game you’re making will definitely succeed.”

“Then I want to go with you to watch the game’s matches.”

Wang Mo also smiled and hooked his finger.

“I promise you.”

“This game will definitely be your type.”

“In the future, you won’t have to worry about Dota being too complicated, because this game doesn’t have as many complex operations as Dota.”

“Oh, right.”

After retracting his hand, Wang Mo suddenly thought of something and said to Ye Youxue.

“When we go back later, I’ll tell the others.”

... ... ...

“From now on, no matter when you want to find me, you can come anytime; no one will stop you.”

“Mhm.”

.

At this time, the outside world did not yet know.

It was in an ordinary internet cafe that Wang Mo had already decided on Junzi Group’s next software and idea.

At the same time,

In the outside world at this moment,

Apart from Wang Mo having no worries about Penguin Big Cafeteria,

All the other takeaway software still on the market were worried about Penguin Big Cafeteria’s performance.

Especially Ele.me.

Because Old Ma and the others clearly knew that the final outcome of this online cafeteria could ultimately determine the victory or defeat in the takeaway field’s battlefield.

Currently, Ele.me,

Neither has the influence and user base of Meituan Takeaway, nor the online cafeteria of Penguin Waimai.

Every step they take next must be carefully considered, as they are currently a takeaway software standing on the edge of a cliff.

If Penguin Waimai’s online cafeteria succeeds, then Ele.me’s market share will likely plummet to third place, and even if they eventually launch an online cafeteria, their market share will no longer be able to recover.

It is precisely because the performance of Penguin Big Cafeteria determines the ultimate direction of the takeaway field’s battlefield.

Therefore, at this moment,

Countless people’s attention was focused on Penguin’s online cafeteria.

No internet practitioner noticed.

In some third and fourth-tier cities,

Bicycles named shared bikes began to appear frequently.

Chapter 203: The Development of Shared Bikes, Penguin Waimai’s Market Share

“Sis, there’s no time.”

“The train departs in twenty minutes, and we can’t hail a cab here at all. Running there is too late, and the bus would be even slower, so that’s out of the question.”

“We’ll just have to wait for next time.”

In a street in a certain third-tier city,

Two figures were anxiously looking down the street, hoping to flag down a taxi.

But the street they were on was already relatively remote, and few taxis passed by.

They had already waited for a long time just now, but still hadn’t seen any.

And hearing her younger sister’s words, the older sister was also a bit anxious.

“This is the last train of the day.”

“If we miss it, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow.”

“It’s all my fault, I got the time wrong.”

“I can only go to school tomorrow, I’ll be a day late.”

The older sister’s voice was also full of self-blame.

Originally, they wouldn’t have been in such a hurry, but because she misremembered the time, when they had packed their things and rushed downstairs, they were already a bit late for the train’s departure time.

It would have been fine if they could have hailed a cab.

But in their location, taxis were already scarce, let alone at this relatively late hour.

It seems now.
