You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

298: Section 298Behind Wang Mo, a voice suddenly sounded.

“Brother, what game are you playing?”

“Why don’t I remember there being a MOBA game on the market that I haven’t seen before?”

“Let me join you.”

“I love playing MOBA games; I’m even in the top ten in Dota for the domestic server.”

Facing this person’s inquiry, Wang Mo smiled.

“This game hasn’t had its open beta yet; it’s called League of Legends, so you can’t play it.”

“You can try it when it goes into open beta.”

Hearing this, the person sighed and clicked his tongue.

“I knew I hadn’t seen it; turns out it’s still in testing.”

This person didn’t delve deeper into the matter, and because his gaze had been fixed on the computer screen, he didn’t recognize Wang Mo immediately.

However, at this moment.

The person’s friend, not far away, couldn’t help but say,

“A Shui, stop looking, the game has started.”

“Coming.”

After one last look, the person reluctantly returned to his computer.

At this time, he was still unaware of how exaggerated the ultimate influence of this game would be.

Chapter 222: Hello Bike Refunds Deposits, Fully Transitioning to Deposit-Free Rides!

Although within the Junzi Group.

An internal test version of League of Legends has already been developed and its development progress has been publicly announced on the official League of Legends website that was created.

However, this information did not receive much attention at this time.

Because in the outside world right now.

Everyone’s attention was focused on Hello Bike’s movements two days later.

Regardless of whether they believed Hello Bike truly had the capability for deposit-free rides, everyone’s attention was on Hello Bike.

In these two days.

Originally, Ali Bike and Penguin Group’s shared bicycles should have proceeded with their next round of expansion.

But precisely because of Hello Bike’s previous announcement, Ali Group and Penguin Group both paused the expansion speed of their shared bicycles.

After all, although they didn’t believe Hello Bike truly had the capability for deposit-free rides.

They did need to thoroughly confirm it before they could take the next step.

Whether Hello Bike could offer deposit-free rides was crucial to their next plan.

And amidst this widespread anticipation.

Time.

Quickly arrived two days later.

At 9 AM on this day, Hello Bike announced that it would refund all users’ deposits and transition Hello Bike to deposit-free rides, with nationwide coverage.

Early in the morning on this day.

A trending search related to Hello Bike was already at the top of the hot search list.

“Will Hello Bike really be deposit-free?”

In the hot search.

A financial blogger, through extensive argumentation, claimed that Hello Bike absolutely could not truly refund deposits.

“I investigated these past two days and found that Hello Bike’s investment and operating costs far exceed your imagination; this figure has probably already surpassed ten billion.”

“And now.”

“Hello Bike’s registered users have already exceeded eighty to ninety million.”

“Eighty to ninety million registered users, even if only more than half of them haven’t had their deposits refunded, this amount is roughly ten billion.”

“Haven’t these two figures made you think of something?”

“Hello Bike’s current investment cost amount is precisely the sum of most users’ deposits, so Hello Bike’s aggressive operation in a short period must be due to the misappropriation of deposits. I think you don’t need to wait; this deposit cannot be refunded, and Hello Bike cannot offer deposit-free rides.”

In this Weibo post.

Because the blogger provided a lot of substantive evidence, it indeed attracted a lot of attention.

And a considerable number of people strongly agreed with this person’s remarks.

However.

Because there was not much time left until 9 AM, most internet users were still in a wait-and-see state.

After all, they would soon know whether Hello Bike could truly refund deposits and offer deposit-free rides, so all their current speculations and discussions were meaningless.

And as everyone waited.

Time.

Finally approached 9 AM that day.

.

At this moment.

Inside Penguin Group.

In Ma’s office.

Many senior executives from the group were waiting there at this time.

“Actually, I think we don’t need to go to such great lengths.”

“How could a small company like Hello Bike, without misappropriating deposits, have the ability to rapidly expand into so many offline cities and bicycle numbers in a short period?”

“They definitely can’t refund these deposits.”

“At that time, we will be the ultimate winners.”

Zheng Haidi’s voice was resounding in the room at this moment, and his words were quite relaxed.

At this time, besides him.

The other people in the office basically had the same thoughts.

The purpose of Ma calling them for a meeting this time was to discuss how they could quickly seize Hello Bike’s market after Hello Bike’s scam was exposed.

After all.

As long as Hello Bike didn’t refund deposits immediately and didn’t transition to deposit-free rides immediately, Hello Bike’s user market would instantly collapse, and user trust would completely dissipate.

Under such a premise.

No one would still be willing to continue paying deposits to ride Hello Bike.

And they would be the biggest beneficiaries, reaping the rewards.

“Actually, the several proposals Ma Liuyun mentioned just now are good. We don’t need to keep being peaceful with Ali Group. We can lay out in advance in the cities occupied by Ali Bike and strike directly when the time is right, completely defeating them.”

Ma’s voice also rang out in the office.

In fact, they had already discussed some plans for how to take over after Hello Bike’s collapse.

······························ Seeking fresh flowers

Everyone’s actions clearly indicated.

They indeed had no worries about this Hello Bike.

“Time’s up.”

At this moment.

The hands of the clock not far away finally pointed to nine o’clock.

Seeing this, everyone in the room showed no concern, looking completely relaxed.

But the next second.

Ding, ding, ding.

The sound of message notifications constantly rang on everyone’s phones in the office.

“Bank card received two hundred.”

“Who transferred two hundred yuan to me at this time?”

Looking at the message on his phone, Zheng Haidi subconsciously blurted out.
