You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

276: Section 276Although the two had chatted frequently during this period, they hadn’t seen each other in a while due to being busy launching various software.

”What’s wrong?”

”Can’t I come see you if I miss you?” Ye Youxue asked playfully, then walked over to Wang Mo’s desk.

”Of course, you can.”

”I’m actually a bit sorry that I haven’t come to see you lately,” Wang Mo said with a smile.

In fact, in the early stages of his entrepreneurship, he often hung out with her, but he’d been quite busy recently.

”I was just about to go downstairs for a walk; let’s go together.” With that, Wang Mo stood up and walked downstairs with Ye Youxue.

The two of them slowly moved through the Junzi Group building.

”How have you been recently?”

”Just the same, busy with graduation matters, and occasionally doing live streams on Douyin,” Ye Youxue said with a smile. She was finally nearing graduation.

Then she looked at Wang Mo.

”How about I come work for your company after I graduate?”

Wang Mo was a bit puzzled.

”Aren’t you doing well with your live streams now? You’re one of the most popular streamers on Douyin.”

”Besides, you didn’t study this field. If you were to come, I really wouldn’t know how to arrange you in the company.”

Hearing this, Ye Youxue suddenly stopped, her eyes sparkling as she stared at Wang Mo, her hands clutching the hem of her clothes.

”I know a position in your company that’s perfect for me.”

Wang Mo was curious.

”What position?”

Ye Youxue smiled, revealing two dimples.

”The boss’s wife.” Chapter 201: Views on PC Games, the Lack of an Esports Industry!

Hearing those three words, Wang Mo was stunned for a moment, then chuckled.

”I really thought you were going to say something serious.”

”I was even thinking, what position in our company would suit you?” After Wang Mo finished speaking, Ye Youxue also laughed.

”Alright, look at you, I was just joking.”

”Why do you have the same expression as when I confessed to you in college?”

Amidst their laughter, the two had already reached the first floor and were slowly walking outside.

At this moment, Ye Youxue casually brought up a topic as if it were an afterthought.

”Oh, right.”

”What were those rumors about before?”

”What rumors?” Wang Mo asked, a little confused.

Ye Youxue then took out her phone, navigated to a certain interface, handed it to Wang Mo, and said, ”Weren’t there rumors before that you and Hot Ba had something going on?”

The content on Ye Youxue’s phone was a photo of Wang Mo attending the premiere of the wandering earth, with Hot Ba sitting next to him.

Looking at the photo, Wang Mo finally remembered.

Because Meituan used Hot Ba as its spokesperson when it launched, and then the two were photographed watching a movie together, it seemed to have caused some buzz externally at the time.

Looking at the photo, Wang Mo smiled.

”So you came for this.”

”Hot Ba and I are nothing. This was just a premiere event I attended, and I happened to run into Hot Ba.”

Listening to Wang Mo’s words, Ye Youxue’s eyes instantly lit up.

”Really?”

”I thought someone had beaten me to it.”

After saying that, Ye Youxue suddenly looked towards the street and then said to Wang Mo, ”Oh, right.”

”We haven’t played games together in a long time.”

”Do you want to give it a try?”

Ye Youxue was pointing towards a newly opened internet cafe.

”Before you graduated, we often played games together.”

”But after you started your business, it seems we haven’t played games together in a long time. I miss it a bit.”

Looking in the direction Ye Youxue was pointing, Wang Mo’s mind also recalled some of the moments he shared with Ye Youxue in school.

His former self was indeed very passionate about games, especially Dota.

Ye Youxue wasn’t actually suited for such high-skill games, but she studied it for a long time for him, and then the two often played together.

Actually, Ye Youxue was more suited for MOBA games that weren’t so complex to operate, but there were none in this world.

Looking at the internet cafe in the distance, Wang Mo also nodded.

”Let’s go.”

”I haven’t played games in a long time either.”

.

Half an hour later.

”Trade bases, trade bases! They’re almost done destroying ours!”

”Wait, why do they still have tower defense?”

”Ugh, we lost again.” Looking at the defeat message that popped up on the screen, Ye Youxue let out a frustrated sigh.

The two had just finished a game of Dota on PC.

Then she stuck out her tongue at Wang Mo beside her.

”It’s all my fault, I died so many times. A lot of times, I just couldn’t react in time.”

Wang Mo smiled.

”It’s okay, the opponents played well, and you’re not really suited for such complex games anyway. No need to blame yourself.”

Ye Youxue also rubbed her slightly sore palms and continued, ”I really like playing MOBA games.”

”But Dota on PC is too difficult. Even though I’ve played it for so long, I still find the operations a bit complicated.”

”If only there was a similar PC MOBA game that wasn’t as complex as mobile MOBA games, but unfortunately, there’s only this one MOBA game globally.” Although she really liked this genre of games, due to the difficulty, Ye Youxue still lost more games than she won.
