337: Section 337In Yan Country.

The explosion of League of Legends once again spurred the development of the streaming industry.

Many talented players who emerged after the open beta immediately entered the live streaming field to stream this game.

A Shui, who had topped the rankings during the closed beta, also started his own live stream at this time.

At this moment, they still only regarded League of Legends as a simple game.

And as the number of League of Legends players worldwide continued to increase, time also continued to advance without stopping.

Chapter 262: Ji Pang’s Disdain, League of Legends Announces Daily Active User Numbers.

One week after League of Legends stopped its promotion in Yan Country.

On a certain floor of the Junzi Group Building.

“Boss, I’m convinced, I’m truly convinced.”

“The daily active user data for the domestic server really stopped falling at around ten million, and after a few days of settling, it started to climb again.”

“It hasn’t even been twenty days since the League of Legends open beta!”

“Why does this game have such immense magic?”

Looking at the data in his hand, Zhang Fan’s tone was difficult to calm.

Due to work, he hadn’t played computer games for a long time.

So Zhang Fan didn’t know what magic League of Legends possessed.

His initial prediction for League of Legends’ early performance was only three million, but now this data was three times his previous prediction.

When he saw this achievement, he realized that Wang Mo had not been joking after all.

Facing Zhang Fan’s surprise, Wang Mo merely smiled, then led Zhang Fan out of his office and to the outside of an employee hall.

The next second, Wang Mo led Zhang Fan towards the back door of the employee hall.

As he pushed open the back door, Wang Mo spoke, “This is why this game is one hundred percent guaranteed to succeed!”

When the back door was pushed open, Zhang Fan immediately saw countless employees in the hall, currently playing matches of League of Legends.

This department, in fact, had no relation to League of Legends.

The current time was also a normal lunch break, which employees could manage themselves.

Before, most employees at this time were basically resting or eating, but shortly after League of Legends was released, the scene became as it was now.

“Bo… Boss.”

“We were just playing around.”

Upon seeing them, someone hurriedly exclaimed in surprise.

Seeing many gazes turn towards them, Wang Mo shook his head.

“It’s already break time. You can play whatever game you want. Continue.”

After speaking, Wang Mo closed the door to the employee hall, then looked at Zhang Fan beside him and smiled.

“Do you know why now?”

Zhang Fan nodded.

Wang Mo continued, “When even our company’s employees are playing League of Legends in their leisure time, you know that this game can no longer fail.”

“League of Legends is gradually forming a trend in Yan Country.”

“There will be no possibility of it being hindered.”

After speaking, Wang Mo looked at Zhang Fan.

“Release the initial daily active user numbers.”

“Currently, League of Legends is the PC game with the most daily active players globally, bar none.”

“And this gimmick will be the beginning of our global promotion.”

“Next, it’s time to let PC gamers in other countries around the world know about League of Legends.”

At the same time, in another location dozens of kilometers away from the Junzi Group Building, the Penguin Group Building was holding a video conference.

Many Penguin Group executives were in an office at this time.

“I’ve said it many times.”

“Your Yan Country’s garbage game can’t possibly compare to Dota.”

“You even said that this game has an exaggerated reputation in your country, and the number of initial daily active players might reach three million, surpassing the number of Dota players in Yan Country.”

“But as long as I’m here, such a thing is impossible.”

“Just shut up. I will not make changes to Dota, nor will I listen to you and copy this game called League of Legends.”

As soon as his voice fell, Ji Pang on the other end of the video directly hung up the call.

Watching this scene, the expressions of the few people in the room were also somewhat displeased, and then they all removed the translators from their ears.

“Ji Pang is too arrogant.”

“If it weren’t for us being partners, I’d really want to curse him out.”

“We’ve already told him about the existence and threat of League of Legends, but he doesn’t care at all. He doesn’t take League of Legends seriously at all. This attitude will cause him to suffer a great loss.”

Ma Liuyun couldn’t help but shake his head.

Their meeting just now was with Ji Pang of Wei Corporation, hoping that Ji Pang could quickly come up with a response to League of Legends, otherwise it would truly be too late.

To heighten Ji Pang’s vigilance, they even told Ji Pang Ma Liuyun’s prediction for League of Legends’ initial daily active users.

But Ji Pang’s attitude was very impatient; he didn’t take League of Legends seriously at all.

After Ma Liuyun finished speaking, Li Wenqiu, who was beside him, gave a self-deprecating smile.

“Actually, I can understand Ji Pang’s attitude.”

He looked up at the others.

Before Ma Liuyun and the others could retort, he continued to murmur, “Weren’t we the same at first?”

As soon as this sentence came out, the words that Ma Liuyun and the others were about to say were instantly caught in their throats.

“When Junzi Group was first established, we didn’t take Wang Mo and his Junzi Group seriously either.”

“Our thinking at the time was the same as Ji Pang’s now; we simply didn’t think such a small company could threaten us.”

“But what about now?”

“Junzi Group’s market value is already not much worse than ours.”

After Li Wenqiu finished speaking, the others in the room fell silent.
