Global Lords: I Have Information System

Will Zong Shen deliver this batch of Soul Calming Grass to Lord Evans’ estate as promised?

The hired merchant Pikol had never worried about this issue.

Because Soul Calming Grass is very special, it needs to be dried and processed promptly using a large wind furnace, and the large wind furnace is only at Lord Evans’ estate. Even if others got it, it would be of no use.

He also wasn’t worried that Zong Shen would tease him because this was a matter of making a wise choice.

The other party seemed mysterious, instead of waiting for the Soul Calming Grass to wilt here, why not take a gamble?

As long as this batch of Soul Calming Grass is delivered to Lord Evans on time, not only will they not be punished, but Zong Shen will also gain Evans’ friendship.

In summary, Pikol was able to place his hope on Zong Shen.

Seeing that Zong Shen had agreed, he quickly turned back and pulled out a small wooden box, only half the size of a shoebox, from the carriage. Inside it was the Soul Calming Grass.

The quantity was much less than Zong Shen had previously imagined.

The gaps in the lid of the small wooden box were smeared with mud as a simple sealing method.

But even so, when Pikol passed by in front of Zong Shen carrying the box, he could still smell a faint scent.

This scent was somewhat like mint grass, smelling very refreshing.

Just what does the Soul Calming Grass itself look like?

And what use does Evans have for collecting this Soul Calming Grass?

Thinking about this, Zong Shen couldn’t help but inquire from the strategy tips.

”Does Soul Calming Grass have any effects?”

”Why does Evans collect it?”

(Soul Calming Grass, as the name implies, is an herb with calming and soothing effects.

This herb only grows near fresh graves, born alongside the wraiths.

Evans collects Soul Calming Grass to make sleep potions to address his stubborn insomnia.)

After reading the golden subtitles of the strategy, Zong Shen understood the use of this thing.

In simpler terms, this Soul Calming Grass is not much different from sleeping pills on Earth.

However, this Soul Calming Grass only has a chance to grow in graveyards where fresh corpses have been buried.

It seems that this so-called Langkone Village must have recently had quite a few deaths, and consequently, Soul Calming Grass has grown there.

This small box, although not large, should easily hold thirty to fifty herbs.

The small wooden box was quickly placed in a corner of the cockpit.

Ensuring it wouldn’t be trampled by Pigsy and the warhorses.

After setting the small wooden box in place, Pikol exited the cockpit.

Once again bowing respectfully to Zong Shen standing outside.

”Then I’ll leave everything to you!”

Zong Shen nodded, directly entering the cockpit and sitting on the slightly cramped pilot seat.

The airbag was already fully inflated, and all the turbofan engines were preheated.

He gently pulled the power lever, and all the turbofan speeds increased dramatically.

A stream of air was ejected out, propelling the airship upwards.

The airship vibrated for a while, and the grass began to slowly ascend.

Unlike the previous test flight, this time the airship seemed quite struggling.

All four sets of turbofan engines were emitting an overloaded roaring sound.

This was typical overloading, but even so, the airship still started to slowly ascend, reaching three to four hundred meters in a few minutes.

Upon reaching the predetermined altitude, Zong Shen turned the steering wheel, adjusting the angle of the wings and turbofan engines on both sides and at the end, and the airship’s direction shifted accordingly.

Next, Zong Shen pushed the forward gear lever, and all turbofan engines rotated backward, ejecting four streams of air.

The thrust from the airflow swiftly increased the airship’s speed forward.

Zong Shen activated the cruise control switch, allowing the airship to maintain maximum cruise speed towards the east by default.

After the airship safely ascended, he finally breathed a sigh of relief, though this thing consumes magic energy, it boasts safety and reliability.

Compared to melee combat with those Shark Lizards, Zong Shen would rather expend some magic energy.

This goblin airship’s cockpit wasn’t large, originally designed for goblins.

According to Zong Shen’s previous tests, it could only barely accommodate more than thirty people simultaneously.

Fortunately, it was of load-bearing type, otherwise, it really couldn’t carry them all.

Currently, although there weren’t more than thirty people, there were twelve warhorses, one large wild boar, and a black panther!

The mounts alone occupied a significant amount of space, forcing Wenresa, Luna, and the Immortal Gun Cavalry to stand near the sides of the cockpit.

The load capacity was maxed, yet it managed to ascend smoothly.

With the airship’s cruising speed, another half hour of flight would take them out of this desert zone.

Then they would land and proceed on the ground.

Upon returning to the territory, Zong Shen planned to remodel the goblin airship’s gondola.

Expanding the entryway of the gondola, extending the ropes between the gondola and airbag, to better suit the territory’s actual conditions.

After all, this thing was goblin-made, so some of the dimensions weren’t very suitable.

Including the original cockpit entrance, which could only allow two people to enter side by side, though it was over two meters high, enough to accommodate goblins piloting the Magic Energy Mecha.

However, the width was still insufficient, about the same as the goblins’ supply box.

It couldn’t satisfy Zong Shen Territory’s airship requirements, so it had to be modified.

Of course, the best solution would be to get a larger airship.
