Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 485: Chapter 356: Mine Settlement, Return to Sitanos

This time, Kunyel’s tone was more serious.

It was almost in a semi-commanding manner that he gave instructions to Harold.

At the same time, he was preparing to report this matter to the upper echelons of the Giant City.

The situation was too abnormal, especially after the Pyrrhic victory at Odu Village; Kunyel became more cautious and careful.

Upon hearing this, Harold clenched his right hand into a fist and placed it over his left chest, slightly bowing to Kunyel.

Generally, Giant Cities are often controlled by a Count or a Marquis.

This is related to the scale of the Giant City and the family power behind the high-ranking nobles.

The Lentax Giant City ranks among the upper middle-sized Giant Cities in the Avalon Kingdom.

The determining factors for the kingdom’s size are firstly, population, secondly, the level of taxation, and then military strength.

Giant Cities also need to pay taxes to the Three Great Imperial Cities, which are not only supersized city units surpassing Giant Cities but also administrative centers within the kingdom.

Among the Three Great Imperial Cities, one is the Main Imperial City, controlled by the current King of Avalon, where the royal family members reside and it is the true central city.

The other two are Assistant Imperial Cities, controlled by two branches of the Pandragon Royal Family, and they too hold a very transcendental position, aside from the main line of the royal family itself.

Those branches of the Pandragon similarly possess great power within the kingdom, being royal families with strength and status second only to the main royal line.

Besides these, there are many other royal families, such as Baron Bezos of Boss Bang, who hails from the Chebman Clan, a medium-small royal family.

Because the kingdom’s territory is so vast, this provides the royal families with the soil for development.

Throughout the kingdom, the registered minor and major nobles count as numerous as hundreds of thousands.

Of course, not all nobles have fiefs that they can control.

More often, they only have their own industries and hold certain posts locally.

Just like Kunyel himself, who is a Captain in the Dragon Descendant Knight Order.

He also has his residence within the Lentax Giant City.

Outside the city, there are large tracts of land for cultivation and pastures for cattle and sheep.

Moreover, he holds public office and receives quite a stipend from the kingdom.

All of this provides him with a wealthy lifestyle.

Additionally, resources in the Giant City are extremely abundant, commerce is particularly developed, and the massive circulation of materials improves the quality of life.

In terms of enjoyment, Kunyel is much more comfortable than those nobles in Bang City.

Once the Expeditionary Army resolved the situation on the surface, they began to arrange for personnel to erect baskets beside the ground well, preparing to excavate the well.

Although they were unsure of what was under the well, anything that the Calamity Raven Church valued so much had to be repeatedly checked.

...

The aftermath in Odu Village had not yet subsided.

On the other side, after over an hour of trekking, Zong Shen and his team had arrived at the mine.

Along the way, he deliberately did not follow the navigation of the strategy entirely; he first went north for a while before heading west, because the distribution of lord territories was much sparser in the north.

This way, he could reduce the risk of being discovered by other lords to some extent.

The journey was almost without any setbacks, and they smoothly reached the outskirts of the mine’s ruins.

Several Burden-Bearer Mechas were parked on the outskirts, and all the Kobolds disembarked from the cargo holds.

Zong Shen put away the Burden-Bearer Mechas, rode Pigsy through the ruins, and arrived outside the mine.

The temporary Illusion Magic set at the entrance had long surpassed its effective period and disappeared completely.

He carefully inspected the area around the mine and found no traces of human activity.

Only then did he take out the Magic Power Flashlight, switch it to level two brightness, and took the lead in entering the mine.

Zong Shen looked at the ground covered once again with dust and discovered no new footprints.

It could be concluded that no one had indeed found this place during this time.

The Spider Web Monster race had already been wiped out by Zong Shen, and the remaining Spider Web Monsters had fled the mine and dared not return.

As long as the exterior was secure, there would be essentially no problems within the mine in this area.

The rest was for Dutra to be careful when leading the Kobolds in mining.

Continuing onward, they soon returned to the warehouse area on the left side of the mine, where the Dogman Tribe used to reside.

In addition to several storerooms, there was also a large, abandoned Ore Refining Plant.

Zong Shen found a small vacant spot nearby.

He began placing the [Ore Refining Plant (Blue)]. This was a complete building requiring no materials to construct, and after Zong Shen set the virtual shadow, it began automatically building itself.

This [Ore Refining Plant] occupied 120 square meters; it had only two sheds and several refining piles, classifying it as a small refining plant, able to refine raw mined stones, increasing output by 20%.

This was also a functional building, perfectly suitable for placement within the mine.

However, this area was not within the territory’s range; the building could not be moved, and if damaged, it could not be repaired.

”Dutra, you must watch over this Ore Refining Plant carefully.”

”If it breaks now, it cannot be repaired.”

Zong Shen called Dutra over and pointed to the refining plant.

”Don’t worry, my lord, we will indeed defend it with our lives.”

Indeed, the Kobolds, being burrow-dwelling creatures, were very excited to return to a burrow environment like the mine, their original home.

The simple huts were still intact, allowing them to move in immediately without any hassle.
