Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 466: Chapter 346: Zong Shen’s Treasured Liquid, Returning to the Territory

Additionally, the ruins beneath the Burial Fortress still confine three Saint Elders and seven or eight Cold Crow Halberd Warriors. These people are not a major concern for now, as once the Expeditionary Army finishes clearing Odu Village, they will surely go to the Burial Ground to investigate.

All I need to do is keep the Raven Saintess Shafuri isolated, ensuring she remains alone.

In truth, Shafuri cannot focus on the Burial Ground. Being rescued by Zong Shen from the pursuit and capture by the Dragon Knights is already considered a small miracle amid her misfortunes.

Now, her primary concern is to quickly recover her physical strength and head to a nearby outpost of the Calamity Raven Church. She plans to ride the Frost Raven to the nearest secret teleportation point and teleport directly back to the Cold Crow Valley in the northern part of the continent.

Once there, she will report everything to the Archbishop and the other Saint Elders as well as the Great Red Robe.

They will be responsible for the subsequent actions and decisions.

Zong Shen feels somewhat anxious about the territory, wondering if Wenresa and the others have safely returned. Odu Village was in chaos, and it’s not impossible that some audacious lords may target them.

However, up to this point, Zong Shen hasn’t received any communication requests from them, suggesting that things are likely under control.

Pigsy quickly finished the apples, which were merely appetizers given its large appetite.

They were only sufficient to slightly restore its hunger level and physical strength but far from enough to satisfy its hunger.

Zong Shen doesn’t have time to linger in the forest; he wishes to return to the territory as soon as possible.

The territory is safeguarded by his warriors and dozens of defense towers, providing him with a strong sense of security.

Upon returning, someone will naturally take the responsibility of feeding Pigsy.

He patted the grunting Pigsy and leapt onto its back.

Shafuri sat on Pigsy’s strong back bend as well.

Zong Shen gently tugged Pigsy’s ear, signaling it to continue on their way.

”Oink, oink...”

With a grunt, the still hungry Pigsy proceeded eastward, preparing to veer south after exiting the next mountain path to emerge from the forest, and then head towards the territory.

After this turmoil, it was already past nine at night; in about two more hours, Zong Shen’s Guide Module would fully restore its functions.

Pigsy carried the two through the forest, but due to its size, it couldn’t navigate smoothly in densely wooded areas and had to constantly adjust its path.

After over ten minutes of effort, they finally emerged from the forest on the side of another mountain entrance.

They descended southward, then sped southeast without facing any hindrances, not even encountering a single passing lord.

Now that the Burrow Challenge has ended, lords can carefreely wander again.

The days before the next challenge begins are considered free time for the lords.

Zong Shen is relieved not to encounter other lords as he only hopes to return home.

After another forty to fifty minutes, they finally returned to the territory.

All four gates of the territory were closed, yet faint sounds of human activity could still be heard inside.

Zong Shen used the Lord’s Authority to open the gate and, upon entering the territory, hastily looked around.

Upon seeing that the Burden-Bearer Mecha and Goblin Airship were stowed away, he relaxed.

It seemed Wenresa and the others had long returned to the territory; the villagers and captive warriors taken from Odu Village had been properly handled.

They were likely confined within the houses since Zong Shen didn’t see anyone outside.

Additionally, the Raven Scout and Frost Raven’s whereabouts were unknown, and he had previously mentioned his plan to Wenresa and the others, now they had efficiently managed the territory’s internal affairs.

Up ahead, Wenresa, Marie, Hoy, and some elders of the territory were gathered, appearing to discuss something.

When Zong Shen and his group entered the territory, everyone turned and approached proactively.

They saw the Raven Saintess Shafuri on Pigsy’s back and tactfully refrained from saying much, merely bowing in salute, signifying that the territory was intact and everything was normal.

Zong Shen understood the situation and contentedly rode Pigsy to the courtyard entrance.

”Wenresa, take Lady Saintess to enjoy the hot spring.”

”Marie, prepare some food.”

”Lady Saintess is our esteemed guest; do not neglect courtesy.”

”There are many empty rooms on the third floor of the Lord’s Small Tower; let Lady Saintess rest there tonight.”

Zong Shen called over Wenresa and Marie and instructed them seriously.

He then dismounted Pigsy, reached out to assist Shafuri down, and with an apologetic expression said,

”Lady Saintess, I have some matters to attend to.”

”Please allow my subordinates to care for you.”

”Please rest well in my territory tonight.”

”We can discuss any matters tomorrow.”

Upon Zong Shen’s words, Shafuri had no objections.

Zong Shen’s various actions had naturally engendered a sense of trust in her heart.

Immediately, Wenresa and Marie approached with discernment.

Supporting Shafuri on either side, they led her towards the Hot Spring Cottage. Wenresa called her sister, and Marie called her sister; the three women quickly warmed to each other.

Zong Shen watched them enter the Hot Spring Cottage and then called San Pang, instructing him to lead Pigsy to the stable and feed it.

After wisely handling matters concerning Shafuri and Pigsy, Zong Shen gestured Hoy, standing silently aside, to follow him.

”Hoy, come with me.”

He said as he entered the Lord’s Small Tower, sitting down at a wooden table by the territory’s model on the first floor.

Hoy followed respectfully, standing beside Zong Shen once he was seated.

”My lord, do you have any instructions?”

Hoy slightly bowed, adopting a posture of readiness to listen.

His manners gave no room for fault; after all, he had served a Viscount.

Zong Shen looked at Hoy, nodding approvingly.

”Tomorrow or the day after, I plan to go to Boss Bang.”

”Our territory needs to establish itself as a neutral and legitimate force in the kingdom, which means we must go to Boss Bang.”

”We must expedite the transition from armed settlement to village-town development.”

Zong Shen spoke slowly, and Hoy nodded in agreement with Zong Shen’s words.

After Zong Shen finished and paused, Hoy raised his head and responded.

”You’re right, formalization is essential.”

”We just need to commit to paying some taxes annually to gain Boss Bang’s recognition.”

”As our territory expands, we need to take on some responsibilities and obligations for Bang City.”

”Illegal forces will face suppression from the kingdom, while legitimate forces are permitted to maintain their own armed units.”

Hoy added more details, explaining that the kingdom was generally supportive of settlement development, provided that official recognition from the local Bang State Level unit was first obtained.

Each year, based on scale, a tribute should be given to Bang City, which then allows for autonomous development, as long as no trouble is caused, no one will interfere with your development.

Moreover, if you are attacked by bandits or other forces, you can seek help from Bang City.

The majority of villages and even Bang Cities initially developed from settlements, and thus they do not reject or suppress them but rather welcome them.

Zong Shen was aware of this; obtaining recognition from Boss Bang would allow him to develop without worries.

The battle at Odu Village gave him a deeper understanding of the indigenous forces.

To rapidly develop, utilizing the power of the Indigenous People is crucial!
