Chapter 461: Chapter 344: The Powerful Skeleton Knight and Double Rescue [Subscription Requested]

The lancers are capable of entering an automatic gun mounting state periodically.

The difference lies only in the power and the variation in the cooling time reinforcement.

As long as the lance is raised and the warhorse’s speed reaches a certain level, the automatic gun mounting state is achieved.

At present, the Dragon Knight Order is right at this automatic gun mounting state.

And Lion Skeleton Knight Richardson was perfectly caught by several lancers of the Dragon Knight Order in this state.

”Boom!”

”Clang!”

...

Four or five lances violently collided with Richardson’s skeletal frame, either hitting the tattered battle armor to spark a noticeable flare or crashing into its bones with a muffled thud.

Lines of low damage values emerged. If Zong Shen were here, he would be jaw-droppingly astonished, as Tier Four Cavalry’s piercing damage exceeds a hundred points, and there’s additional piercing damage bonus during the automatic gun mounting state.

By rough estimate, there should be at least over two hundred points of piercing damage, yet the actual damage inflicted on Lion Skeleton Knight Richardson was just a few dozen points, with some lance impacts on the armor causing only 13 points of damage.

This signifies that the formidable strength of this mysterious Skeleton Knight is far beyond the scope Tier Four Cavalry can handle.

Having repeatedly endured four or five lance charges, Richardson’s body remained immovable as if it were not made of brittle bones but a gigantic rock.

Its emergence also alarmed Kunyel, prompting all the Dragon Knights to rein in their horses after passing Richardson by a hundred or so meters.

This is the notorious Burial Ground, where undead monsters sporadically break out.

Therefore, the Indigenous People living in this area might not only face bandit attacks but also the threat of undead monsters.

However, in recent years, such undead breakouts have become rarer. Yet, the cost of clearing the Burial Ground is too high, leading the Avalon Kingdom’s upper echelons to let it be.

It’s estimated that tens of thousands of undead monsters slumber in this Burial Ground, among them some formidable figures of considerable might or renown from millennia ago.

In a split second, the two sides virtually exchanged positions, adjusting their horses to face each other in confrontation.

After being attacked, Lion Skeleton Knight Richardson lowered his head to inspect its frame.

Immediately, the soul fire in its eyes began to blaze, almost seeping out of its eye sockets. Its arm lifted, setting the broken heavy lance upon itself.

Its situation was unique. Typically, being transformed into undead means being dominated by the instinct to kill, resenting all life.

However, Richardson was influenced by past heroic deeds. The knightly spirit and honor it upheld throughout its life didn’t entirely dissipate with death. This mental and spiritual power remained to contend with the undead’s instinct to kill.

The past glory and brilliance permeated its life, constituting an indelible strength.

Now, it follows the residual old will, seeking its comrades and allies.

And the Dragon Knight Order, being a standard Kingdom Knight Order, gave off a feeling exceedingly familiar to Richardson, prompting it to instinctively move towards the Dragon Descendant Knight Order.

However, after suffering lance attacks, its state of mind changed, with the instinct to kill beginning to prevail, rendering it increasingly ferocious.

”Clack!”

It opened its skeletal jaws, emitting a grating sound of bone friction.

The dilapidated battle helmet upon its face wobbled.

The instinct to kill pervaded its entire consciousness.

If Zong Shen’s group had chosen to attack when this figure awoke, it would have likely resulted in a bitter fight.

In this special state, even the slightest provocation could drive the undead into an uncontrollable state, while it usually resides in a peculiar neutral state.

Now, the Dragon Knight Order is in trouble!

They have enraged a lion, a Knight Commander who once dominated a millennium ago!

The skeleton warhorse under Richardson’s command lightly scraped the ground with its left foreleg.

”Snort!”

It raised its head with a snort, exhaling two sulfur-scented wisps from its skeletal nose.

Then, it charged at the forty to fifty Dragon Knights.

The broken heavy lance remained over two meters long, with its sharp tip missing.

But as it charged, the front end of the lance began to be replenished by a dark red peculiar energy.

Rendering the lance in its hand an intriguing contrast.

The skeleton warhorse quickly reached its peak speed, resembling a red-glowing phantom in the night, traversing a hundred or two hundred meters in an instant to reach the Dragon Knights.

”Defend against the attack!”

Kunyel just managed to shout, as the dark red energy lance tip pierced through the bodies of four Dragon Knights like a meteor.

...

A series of massive damage values appeared, as this creature, in its charging state, delivered eight or nine hundred points of piercing damage!

All four Dragon Knights were skewered on the broken lance like candied hawthorn sticks.

The battle armor shattered, bodies separated from the warhorses, instantly losing all their upgrades as they were pierced by the lance.

As Tier Four Warriors, their equipment attributes ranged between Excellent and Rare Level, standard equipment crafted specifically for the Dragon Descendant Knight Order by the Avalon Kingdom.
