Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 452: Chapter 339: Undying Bodies, Bloodbath in Odu Village

Only to see these Heretical Giant Power Knights pull the reins fiercely as their lances were about to stab into the bodies of the Cold Crow Halberd Warriors, making the large Shire Horses rear up, leaping forward.

They leapt over the heads of those Cold Crow Halberd Warriors, crossing a distance of seven to eight meters, and their lances pierced through the heads of the Tier Two Avalon Lightly Armored Swordsmen, penetrating five in a row before the lance’s edge dissipated.

More than thirty Heretical Giant Power Knights in an abnormal state charged into the second line of defense formed by 240 Tier Two Avalon Light Infantry.

Each of the Heretical Giant Power Knights could pierce through five Light Infantry with their lances, causing an almost instant kill effect.

Just this one process of charging, leaping, landing, and stabbing brought down a hundred Tier Two Light Infantry lives.

The Tier Four Heretical Giant Power Knights were inherently strong, and entering this fearless abnormal state greatly enhanced their physical attributes.

Dealing with these Tier Two Warriors was like slicing through butter.

The Cold Crow Halberd Warriors guarding the eastern part of the village and the Heretical Giant Power Knights also began to converge.

Even the Church Heavy Armor Shooters’ attacks became much more fierce. Their speed increased, drawing and shooting arrows smoothly, omitting many preparatory actions, each arrow shrouded in a layer of dark light, resembling black meteors.

The bow arms of their longbows were cracking due to the rough accelerated shooting.

The bowstrings were drawn to their limits, emitting a ”creaking” sound of unbearable strain.

The savage shooting greatly increased the attack density of the Calamity Raven Church’s side.

The arrows shrouded in dark light were immensely powerful; a Lord turning to flee was directly hit by one.

This arrow passed through the back of his head, piercing through the skull and nailing into the ground, the powerful kinetic energy almost tearing off the helmet and half the skull.

Fragments, possibly from the helmet or skull, splattered everywhere.

This strike directly took away the life of a Lord with just over 300 Life Value.

The jetting thick marrow splattered everywhere.

Not all Lords are like Zong Shen, possessing over a thousand Life Value at this stage.

In such a crazy battle, the life of a Lord is terribly fragile.

The Calamity Mages also changed, a distinct blue-white raven mark appeared on their foreheads.

They waved their magic staffs relentlessly, casting black, green, or blue-white frost-radiating Magic Bullets almost without chanting.

These Magic Bullets represented the powers of calamity, plague, and frost.

In just under a minute, all the Church Apostle Warriors seemed to go mad.

As long as the Church Deacon, Saint Elders, and Church Warriors at the excavation site over ten kilometers away were unaffected.

All these changes began when Raven Saintess Shafuri initiated this mysterious group ritual!

All Church Deacons in the village knelt on the ground, maintaining a devout kowtowing posture even amid such an intense battle.

While kowtowing, they softly chanted the church’s doctrines, streams of pale golden Power of Faith converging onto Shafuri.

The true power of the active churches on the continent lies in their use of the Power of Faith. They gather followers to amass the power of belief, using it as a medium to communicate across dimensions with the gods they worship.

Meanwhile, outside Odu Village, Kunyel saw Shafuri shining with golden light ascending the Tower of the Raven.

”Damn it, that’s the Raven Saintess!”

”She’s using accumulated Power of Faith to activate the evil Raven Ceremony!”

”We must raid now!”

”Even if we have to trample ruins and our comrades’ corpses!”

”This damned ritual can’t last long.”

”She’s exchanging the Heretic Warriors’ entire life essence for increased battle power and overdraft life with the Power of Faith.”

Kunyel instantly recognized the ceremony being performed by Shafuri.

”We must stop them!”

He roared, leading the remaining Dragon Descendant Cavalry into the village.

The village roads and buildings had already been bombed by various Earth Magic spells and Magic Energy Catapults.

The originally orderly village houses had become ruins, and these Dragon Knights controlled the Andalusian Warhorses, advancing almost by stepping on the ruins.

Before them, the Dragon-kin Rangers and Water and Earth Mages at the end of the formation were suffering attacks from more than thirty Heretical Giant Power Knights.

Over ten Dragon-kin Rangers and more than twenty Mages had already fallen.

The Earth Mages desperately chanted, summoning earth spikes to alter the terrain, striving to disrupt the Heretical Giant Power Knights’ assault.

The Dragon-kin Rangers also tenaciously counterattacked, arrows embedding in their thick armor.

Initially entering the village along the path, the Tier Four Avalon Strong Strike Swordsmen hurried back.

Holding dual swords, they stood in front of the Heretical Giant Power Knights.

Their War Swords kept slashing at the Heretical Giant Power Knights and their Shire Horses, the sharp swords cutting through armor and skin but not drawing a drop of blood.

Then the Dragon Descendant Knight Order intervened, charging almost touching the bodies of the Rangers and Mages.

The 2.6-meter lances skewered some Giant Power Knights off their horses or left arm-thick penetration wounds beneath them.

But without exception, these attacks could not destroy these guys.

Facing these life-overdrafting entities with mortal flesh waged an unequal battle.

But they had no retreat, the front-line Tier Two Light Armor Warriors and Lord’s Influence had already met catastrophic disaster, with major casualties.

Even Dragon-kin Rangers and Mages faced serious casualties.

The crucial point, not only the Heretical Giant Power Knights breaking into the rear, but the Cold Crow Halberd Warriors at the front, Church Heavy Armor Shooters at the back, and Calamity Mages were all launching attacks.

The massive forces were trapped on the spot, embroiled in a grim struggle.

The Dragon Knights found a method; if they couldn’t be killed, they could be bound.

They cooperated in small groups, angling their lances to penetrate some Giant Power Knights, pinning them to the ground or ruin walls.

Through this method, they barely contained the Heretical Giant Power Knights’ advance.

The Heretical Giant Power Knights were pinned by three or four lances, possessing immense strength but unable to exert it.

And after exhausting their lances, the Dragon Knights picked up the Heretical Giant Power Knights’ lances.

Maintaining this tactic, they urged the front-line warriors to retreat.

As Tier Four Knights, they could barely contend with these transformed church warriors for a few exchanges.

Through mutual cooperation, they even had chances to pin and suppress them.

The scale of this battle became utterly unmanageable, with no one able to predict the outcome.

Not even Raven Saintess Shafuri and Knight Captain Kunyel.

Strategic intelligence only works before the battle begins; once the fight erupts, when both sides are madly engaged, who still cares about that? It’s a life-and-death struggle; only one lives or dies.

Because the battle’s result isn’t complex: the enemy lives, I die; the enemy dies, I live!

This is truly a battlefield, with blood splattering, severed limbs and mangled bodies everywhere.

The village is filled with ruins, corpses piled up, and blood gushing from bodies, converging at lower terrains, forming pools of filthy blood!
